scan. bark is way worse than the bite. we did expect the clipper system to just slip us, no pun intended but you know what it looks as though we have this real heavy duty snow falling down right now. having hard time finding any spots where it is snowing right now, however, if you do see some snow showers this morning, or some flurries, i will not be surprised by that, and that could absolutely reduce your visibility for one thing, or create some slick travel in spots. so just keep that all in the back of your head a lot of times it is the nuisance systems leaving the most headaches, that said, look at the wind speeds currently basically straight out of the south, doesn't mean it is a warm wind, however we, are though, going to be stuck with this basically all day today even as the clipper retreat. how does it feel in the meantime? not as harsh as yesterday but still brutal windchill values no better than dose al new jersey to up 20 this morning up in the poconos may still be sub zero for you. so factor that in, heavy winter weather gear still a requirement, around the region we go watching for nation

4:44 am
terrible. so if you open up your cbs philly weather app waist going on here, a lot of times the radar can try to play tricks on you, so it will show up the moisture in all of the levels of the atmosphere, right up through the air column, sometimes not actually hitting gown. so if you see flakes, we want to hear about it, but also worth mentioning, because, if you do see some snowflakes out there this morning a it, could reduce your visible, but b it, may lead to slick travel. while i don't expect any accumulation out of anything currently out, there you know, any time you have got weather out there on the map during the morning rush, it can cause headaches. so again, what did i tell you? storm scan looks way worse than what's actually happening at the ground level. however, this is just the outer most fringe of a bigger system, just clipper so even by its very nature it doesn't have a lot of moisture anyway. however, because we are still on the outskirt of it, close enough to it, there is enough moisture you may see snow shower or at least a flurry in a lot of spots this morning. so with that said, what do you need to expect?
4:45 am
temperatures gradually on the uphill climb here through the morning, still cold out there but watch for the snow soars primarily it is north and west of philadelphia, but there could as i mention be areas of reduced visibility, maybe some slick spots especially untreated roadways. meanwhile how it feels no where near as brutal as it was this same time yesterday. right? only 11, isn't that crazy, only feeling like it is 11 degrees, an opposed to sub zero. so yes little less harsh keep in mind the winds is out there that's going to be with you all day may not feel any better than say the mid teens and into the low 20's, throughout the day. the winds was with us again as i said through the entire day. but eventually the flakes are going to get out of here, we'll see some sunshine, clear skies, frigid air in place skies clear out completely tonight. almost like we're right back to what we saw yesterday. full sunshine, saturday, highs just 20, and feels colder. come sunday, if you haven't taken down your holiday decorations perhaps something like, that easing up nicely, not as windy, it is cold, but the better of the two weekends
4:46 am
