on, it is dry and will be dry all day long. storm scan3 not finding any problems whatsoever, weather wise, except for this cold. boy is it ever? four in the poconos the actual temperature, four in the poconos, 13 in allentown 17 at the airport in philadelphia, 18 in millville. 21 degrees down in wildwood. even the ocean is cold. 37 degrees, widen out the picture zero in cleveland, so i guess we should put that into some casino of perspective. one in pit burying, those are the actual temperatures, now you factor in the win it, feels like two in philadelphia, feels like minus 13 in the poconos and 8 degrees through south jersey, it is just quite a morning, quite a day 20 degrees, our high temperature today but with the wind it will feel more like it is in the teens if we're lucky and the single numbers. so we will talk more about how long this particular batch of cold lasts and some of the

people to express support for the fundamental values of democracy. >> all over the world i was amazed by the support but i'm not surprised of it. >> in france, country still on alert, marlie hoe has more on friday's race. opened fire on two most wanted men in france, ending seven hour stand-off and three days of terror. brother, said and cherif kouachi, brothers behind wednesday @ tack on paris newspaper had holdup inside a printing plant north of paris. security forces quickly surrounded the plant and locked down the town. but their stand-off with police was under minds by a plant employee, who was hiding inside the building and talking with law enforcement. at sundown, police moved in, both brothers killed. prosecutors say they had a rocket pro pelted grenade and several guns.

of the tail section of the airasia flight 8501. the airbus 8320 plummeted into the java sea two weeks ago. now, since then, search crews have scrambled to recover its flight recorders t remains unclear if those black boxes are inside the tail portion. so far the bodies of 48 of the 162 people on board, have been recovered. effort to find missing south jersey woman are intensifying this morning. twenty-six year older kay crosby disappeared back on december 30th. "eyewitness news" reporter steve patterson is live in cherry hill where crosby was last seen. steve, good morning. >> reporter: good morning, nicole. no doubt about it, the family in this case, more than suspect foul play at this point. crosby last seen with her husband, kyle crosby, 11 days ago, at this restaurant in cherry hill, after she goes missing, then he goes missing. now the family is seeking answers. >> bring her home, let me burden of proof i my sister,

that's what you did you killed my sister, let me bury my sister. >> reporter: chilling plea from a family who said they've had enough. calling for 26 year older did a crosby to come home. the mother of two young daughters, last seen with her husband, kyle crosby, on december 30th, at a restaurant in cherry hill. since then no communication. >> the thing that got us all -- why are these babies still here and no word from erica, not here? >> wednesday they filed missing person's report, called police after they say they lost contact against this time, with husband, kyle. after being questioned by police the family says crosby disconnected his phone has not shown up for work, or to pick up his daughter, and disappeared. >> i hope that's not true. you know what i am saying? i hope that you're not doing something you're not supposed to do. >> now the family fears they'll never see their loved one again. >> this is too much for a family. how much do you all want us to take? >> exactly. >> the mother just sitting on the couch watching it. v, let us no we're dying.

>> it is court document revealing kyle crosby has a record of assault and drug charges, so much in this case saying no criminal activity as they're looking into it so far. that's the latest from cherry hill steve patterson cbs-3 "eyewitness news". all right, steve thank you. meanwhile, cold concerns are running high this weekend the bitter blast may now be responsible for a death in philadelphia. that's where officials are working to help get the homeless off the streets. "eyewitness news" reporter diana rocco has more on their effort. >> cold is not only uncomfortable for those out bundled from head to tie in -- tow in center city, but down right dangerous for certain part of the population. philadelphia has recorded what's likely to be the first weather-related death of the year a 64 year old woman was found thursday, inside her kingsessing apartment when she didn't report to work. >> as we got into the living room with the property, we found the female sitting in a

chair, she obviously appeared to be deceased, temperature inside the home at the time was about 10 degrees, we're not sure if she didn't turn her heat on or the heater was broken? plummeting temperatures have prompted the city and surrounding areas to issue a cold blue. while it is not mandatory shelters doing their best to get the homeless off the street. >> there is no doubt about the fact that you just can't re plane outside in this kind of weather. last year, there are some people that certainly died on the streets. >> the executive director of sunday breakfast, one of the city's oldest independent run homeless shelters, have opened their doors at all hours of the day and night so no one will be turned away. >> right now, we have about 170 people staying with us, in beds but just that much need we are opening the dining room at night. >> taking overflow from over crowded shelters, keeping the cafeteria open beyond meal time which they're staffing

jury was leaked to the philadelphia daily news. montgomery county district attorney risa furman, must decide if she will pursue charges against kane after reviewing that case. now, her attorney, lani davis, will speak to the media later this morning. cbs news confirms criminal charges may be brought against former cia director general david petraeus. the fbi is recommending petraeus be prosecuted for providing classified information to his former mistress, and biographer, paula broadwell. investigators say the information was found on broadwell's computer. the final decision on whether to charge petraeus will be made by attorney general eric holder. happening today, show of support for law enforcement officials. a pro blue rally is being held on independence mall. congressman pat meehan, senator pat toomeyly speak there. two new york city police officers killed in the line of duty last month will be honored, there as well. >> well, residents in abington township held a similar appreciation day last night.

millville, eight in wildwood, it is cold out there high pressure in charge of our weather today. it keeps it dry. it keeps it cold. and then as the high moves away a little bit we start to pick up southwesterly breeze tomorrow. that will will get the temperatures into the 30's, where they were yesterday. we've had a cold couple of days though, for this beginning of january. future weather, no problems today, don't even look for clouds today but tomorrow afternoon we start to pick up some clouds. by 6:00 tomorrow night we are cloud covered. and then we start to watch the next batch of precipitation coming in. and there is a chance that areas to the north by late sunday night could pick up a little bit of snow, perhaps mix through philadelphia, rain to the south, notice what happens, this is 3:00 in the morning on monday morning early monday morning we start to see some sleet maybe some freezing rain, through philadelphia, where it is colder to the north little bit of snow, where it is warmer to the south, little bit of rain. obviously all those placements, can change, between now and then, number

i'm nicole brewer. it is just about 6:30 right now. we've had a cold, cold week, hoping there is some relief in site carol. but you're saying not today? >> oh, definately not today. and it is relief comes in the form of temperatures in the 30's, we've got couple of those days. >> okay. >> so, ya. you know, our expectation of relief has certainly been downgraded, with all of the cold that we've seen. we have temperatures this morning, that are really cold. and it is bright, as you take a look at center city. also notice that the pavement is dry. that's always a good start in the wintertime. tan will stay dry today as well. 17 degrees temperatures through center city philadelphia, right now. we have 16 degrees, and that's in palmyra, at the nature park overlooking the delaware and the city of philadelphia, it is a cold start to the day, a dry one, though, storm scan3 showing that we have no precipitation out there. and we really don't have anything even in the way of clouds at this point. we probably won't be finding

anybody thinking about traveling abroad. now the state department is warning anyone traveling abroad specifically to france, canada australia, to be extra vigilant for possible threat. now, in addition to the paris attacks, the warning sites last month hostage stand-off in a australian cafe, and the october murder of a soldier near canada's parliament. >> well the warnings come after three days of terror in paris. this is what the kosher market in paris looks like now. explosions and gunfire mark the end after hour's long hostage stand-off here friday. four hostages were killed at that site. their captor was also killed. >> well, special forces work to end that hostage situation more drama was unfolding miles away, at another hostage scene. there a gun battle and explosions took out the two terrorists responsible for wednesday's attack, at charlie hebdo, ended three days of grissly terror. point, as they continue their search for the missing woman. for now, reporting live in cherry hill, i'm steve patterson, cbs-3, "eyewitness news". >> steve, thank you. meanwhile, house fire in williamstown, gloucester county is under investigation this morning. chopper three over the scene just after 10:00 o'clock on the 100 block of washington avenue. now, we're told two people have been hurt. but no word yet on how seriously or what caused that fire. >> residents in north philadelphia are allowed back in their homes this morning after work to repair a broken gas main. chopper three, over the 800 block of west birch street last night. that was cold night as you can imagine, to be without heat. but homeowners had it leave for their safety. pgw tells us four-inch gas main broke, at this hour, it appears service has been restored. a pedestrian is recovering after being struck by a route ten septa trolley last night. chopper three, over 41st street and lancaster avenue we're told that victim was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

there are no reports of any injuries to passengers, and no word on a cause. chopper three over a truck, stuck under a railroad bridge. now there is happened at the railroad bridge on south flower mill road in middletown township bucks county. the truck got wedged under the overpass there. since it has been removed crews are now taking a look at the bridge for damage. fortunate news, no one was injured. in a story first reported by "eyewitness news", day care center ordered shutdown by the state following the unexplained death of a five month old baby. the investigation centers around the winds moore learning center in wyndmoore. authorities respond the to the center monday, around 10:30 a.m., and cpr was performed on that baby. the child was pronounced dead at chestnut hill hospital. our investigation revealed that while inspecting the center afterward state officials found several violations and took action shutting it down. the state findings first uncovered by "kyw news radio" reporter terry gregg, refers

specifically to video. >> staff member place dollars a blanket over a child's face. then when paramedics arrived tried to conceal the blanket eventually ended up strong give it to police. >> the state ordered 20 separate un opens undercover by investigators including keeping kids unsupervized. officials stay could take months for final ruling on that infant's cause of death. a person of the school said they had no comment. >> well, there is another case of hepatitis-a in mercer county. a robinsville township patient, ate food from the same restaurant as which a worker was infected back in november. rosa's restaurant and catering in hamilton two. women who ate food from there were also infected. the cases spurred some residents to get vaccinated. they don't know if the additional cases are a detective result that far original case. a local father, paralyzed after a hunting accident, years ago does something he

there. frigid, yet again temperatures though, will be warming up tomorrow. warming up, this time of year, means, maybe we get to the middle 30's. but it won't be as cold as it is today. today, also, has the factor of some win. not extremely windy today but it is windy enough that our windchills today will make it feel like the single numbers or the teens most. future weather is quiet no problems whatsoever, we won't stop this until tomorrow. this is at 6:00 tomorrow night. and computer models say off to the west, we start to see some situations that may be moving in our direction. this one says, we get little snow late sunday night, to the north, maybe a mix through philadelphia, some rain well to the south and then, this is a change, remember, if you watched half hour ago look at this change, it says snow to the north nothing through philadelphia at 4:00 a.m. and rain to the south. so, this is a changing scenario and so it will change a million times between now and then. then we get a chance of maybe some sleet, first thing on
