ve freezing right now in quakertown and doylestown these temperatures may drop another degree or two. but overall temperatures leveled off. through monday morning again early in the morning hours we'll see that potential freezing rain. by mid morning say 9:00 o'clock or so you shall get that change over to plain rain as temperatures rise above freezing that will move from south to north and still the potential for that light ice accumulation doesn't take much. watch out for the slick spots the rain will come to an end later on during the evening and the full forecast talk about the timing of the morning commute and temperatures not as in the seven day that's come coming up in in a few more minutes. natasha. >> thank you. >> philadelphia streets department its cruise will begin salting trouble spots starting at midnight. penndot gearing up for a messy morning commute and they're already pulling out the stops to ensure safe travels. >> we will have 182 state trucks loaded with salt and ready to go on the highway when the precipitation begins to fall. we'll also be bringing private contractors for additional support.

investigation stands right now. >> reporter: it started saturday afternoon amber alert delaware state police put out word that four-year-old colette hamilton and her little brother cortez hamilton, jr. were missing. their mom keisha hamilton was too. and police said they might be with cortez hamilton sr. keisha's husband and children's father. >> very peaceful since i've been here. very very peaceful. i was shocked. >> reporter: mother and her children were last seen friday night at their home here on east cahill lane. neighbors on the quiet smyrna street were stunned at the news but things changed just before 10:00 p.m. saturday when indiana state police spotted hamilton sr., inside this vehicle on i64 about two hours south of indianapolis. they pulled him over and found the children safe. their mother keisha, though, nowhere to be found. police say hamilton, sr. will be charged with endangering the welfare of a child and assault and is awaiting taxi addition to

delaware. police are questioning him about his wife's disappearance but are not calling him a suspect at this time. >> i have little kids myself, so i really -- my heart goes to them. i pray and i hope she's found safe and alive. >> police issued a formal gold alert for keisha hamilton. that means police believe she could be in eminent danger. she is described as 5 feet sick inches tall and about 145 pounds. if you have any information about her whereabouts you're asked to call police. we're in smyrna, delaware, matt rivers cbs3 "eyewitness news". well police are still investigating a triple homicide in the holmesburg section of northeast philadelphia. three hispanic males were shot to death execution style in a home on the 4600 block of vista street late saturday night. a girlfriend of one of the victims discover the bodies after she tried unsecond says physical to reach her boyfriend by phone. >> i can't do this any more. i'm a little bit disturb what's

been going on much this is supposed to be one of the better neighborhoods and i don't know. it's escalateing. >> police say they have no motive behind the shootings. one man is dead after he was shot in the head in the 1400 block of hollywood street in the brewery town section of philadelphia. the 21-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene. police are still investigating and have information on suspect not just yet. also, a birthday party in the logan section of philadelphia it turns violent. two men and a woman were shot outside reflections cafe at 17th and wingohocking streets. investigators are working to determine what led to this shooting. no arrests have been made. police say all of the the victims are expected to recover. and body of a worker trapped under a collapsed silo has been found. anthony gabriel had work for silvi concrete in buck county for decades. the silo at the riverside industrial complex in bristol township was filled with

concrete powder. search teams have been working around the clock since early thursday. his wife and extended family remained on the site throughout the search. elsewhere in bucks county a vigil for a teacher who has been missing since last week. "eyewitness news" at guinea lane pa in warwick. christopher tullly was last seen walking early tuesday near the off-ramp of 76 west toward city line avenue. the married father of three has been teaching at the middle bucks institute of technology since 2002. tullly's brother-in-law addressed him directly. >> if you hear this, chris just contact somebody and let them know you're okay. again, the outpouring, chris, i don't think you even realize how many people out here care and are concerned for your well- well-being. >> southed in resident suffers from bipolar disorder and does not have his medicine. anyone with information is asked to contact police right away.

that everything else around them. we're in for wintry weather around the area tomorrow morning. nothing like this. justin will tell you more. meteorologist justin drabick has his eye on the storm coming up in a few minutes. authorities in michigan they say all lanes finally reopened on interstate 942 days another a 193 vehicle pileup on the snowy highway. state transportation officials say the eastbound lanes reopened this morning just a few hours after those on the westbound side. one person was killed. nearly two dozen others were injured. apple packing plant in california is linked to a deadly outbreak of listeria. six people may have been killed by the bacteria. more than 30 people across 11 states were sickened. listeria was first found in pre packaged caramel apples but the fda is concerned other products may also be tainted an investigation is on going. apples in question have not been linked to any stores in our area

overnight. temperatures starting to drop below freezing this hour. we have main moving in that spells for freezing rain. watch out for slick travel on untreated surfaces overnight. suburbs will be the problem with this storm system. check in with our weather watchers and look at some of these temperatures. tanya philadelphia already checking in at 30 degrees. and the rain should begin to arrive in philadelphia over the next half hour to an hour. out in coatesville jeff wilson reports light freezing rain this hour he has a temperature of 32 degrees. we're below freezing right now in warminster montclair coming in at 31 degrees. nottingham still above freezing this hour fran checks in with 34 but many locations at freezing. southampton, new jersey, 32 degrees. 32 in media. and eagleville and looks well below freezing in gilbertsville this hour eileen checks in with chilly 30 degrees. outside looking dry for center city. just clouds as we look at the ben franklin bridge but that moisture will be quickly moving in from the south and west. check it out on storm scan3. again the core of the cold air

is still well to the north and west. so no snow from this system maybe a few snakes initially in the poconos but majority of the snow stays out ohio valley and upstate new york. sleet over n hour indicated by the areas in pink. those are the spots that are below freezing. so you may hear sleet pellets and run into light glaze of ice through the overnight hours into early tomorrow morning before we get that change over from south to north to just plain rain. look at the temperature change from this time yesterday. this is crazy. 16 to 27 degrees warmer but not warm enough to he will limb in the all the problems because here we go. 6am these are forecast temperatures. below freezing in many spots. even around philadelphia. looks like south jersey stays above freezing. we'll have to watch out from the city on northward by 9:00 o'clock slowly we climb above freezing so um proving conditions by the second half of the morning commute on monday and then through the rest of the day temperatures stay in the mid to upper theirs looking at rain plain. here's to what to expect overnight early monday morning

up in the poconos brief period of snow ice changing to rain. philadelphia surrounding suburbs in new jersey up through the lehigh valley changing to rain by mid morning and south jersey and delaware mainly sees rain from this event. so let's time thing out for now now freezing rain sleet and rain moving on in through about six 7:00 o'clock in the morning. by 9:00 we start to see that change over to all rain through most spots across the delaware valley. it may take longer up in the lehigh valley and the poconos. but through the rest of the afternoon improving conditions but still we'll have to dodge periods of rain through the day. by among evening 8:00 o'clock most of the rain moves offshore. improving conditions later tomorrow night. we're back to sunshine on tuesday. it will cool us down though a little bit behind that system. snow again really not problem for us. you have to go up to northern pennsylvania into the upstate new york region to find any snowfall accumulation for us this is just that wintry mix of some sleet and freezing rain initially. ice accumulations pretty light maybe a few hundredths of an
