first time something like this has happened. this video was taken saturday at liberty mountain resort in fairfield in adams county. that same night another child fell from a ski lift in spring mountain adventures in schwanksville, montgomery county. "eyewitness news" reporter noel mcclaren has the story. >> reporter: just hours after a nine year-old took a frightening fall, more than 20 feet from a fairfield ski lift another child took an even bigger plunge at a different pennsylvania slope. >> i fell 22 feet 9 inches. >> reporter: rick buckman says five-year old whose name has not been released was lucky to be wearing a helmet. >> they a attended to the child. he had a cut on his chin and they evaluated him on the the scene and determined that it was probably a upper right leg injury of some sort. >> reporter: buckman says his slope is safe. >> if is there a problem with the lift right here. >> reporter: insist his employees took appropriate precautions.

developing news right now mays landing, man is facing sexual assault charges. police alleged that he lured his victim a 12 year-old boy using a cell phone app. "eyewitness news" reporter cleve bryan joins us live with more on the story, cleve. >> reporter: police say parents cannot be too careful when it comes to social media in this case they say that the

12 year-old boy didn't know the age of the man that he was speaking with and when two of them got together police said the man sexually assaulted the boy. an alleged child predator is behind bars hamilton township police say 23 year-old aaron john on from mays landing, used social media to lure at least two boys. early sunday morning a boy whose family lives near cologne avenue report that had johnson sexually assaulted him. police say the parent found out by looking at the boy's phone that got everything startedded when the the parent found the information on the phone, but the juvenile ultimately told the mother immediately and told the police what happened. >> reporter: according to police child had a cell even if but using wifi. johnson told the boy he was younger than his real age of 23. over the weekend they met up. that is when the the sexual assault occurred. >> they made arrangements to meet with the person, with the accused, and they were picked up.

i'm in his vehicle. >> reporter: police identified a second victim a 17 year-old boy, also from hamilton township. they say he also met johnson on kik and met up with the man over the weekend. among the charges johnson faces aggravated sexual assault of the 12 year-old and luring of the 17 year-old. police say parents need to talk to children about the dangers of social media. >> they just have to be conscious about what their children are doing, occasionally checking them to see f you are allowing them to access these sites you need to have their log on information as well so you can periodically check to see who they are talking to and what they are discussing. >> police arrested johnson late last night. they say they are not aware of him having anymore victims but they have contacted the local school districts, so that they are aware of the situation. live from mays landing i'm cleve bryan cb136789 "eyewitness news". after the holidays comes the the bills. and it just blew your budget janice a good time to start

fresh with new financial habits. >> it is the the worst part of the shopping during the holiday. three on your side consumer reporter jim donovan has advice on tackling all of that holiday debt. >> reporter: january can bring some cold hard truths for consumers as december's holiday merry. translates into a mountain of bills. first step towards tackling holiday debt is making a budget charting what income is coming in and which expenses have to be paid out. how much is left to put toward the debt. to make real progress on the existing debt you're going to need to pay american the minimum balance each month, start with the the most expensive debt first. that is not necessarily the the card with the biggest balance. look at which credit cards have a the high high owes interest raise there. moving debt from a high interest card, to a zero interest card, but only if you can pay off the balance, before the introduction offer expires and the interest rates jump.

>> reporter: fifty-seven year-old brian hall has high cholesterol and a family history of heart disease. he takes a low dose aspirin every day to reduce his chances of having a heart attack. >> the concern was that i have not a heart attack like my father did. >> reporter: new study find more than 10 percent of patients taking aspirin to prevent a first time heart attack or stroke should not be taking the drug. >> you can have a risk of having bleeding in your stomach. you can even have a certain type of stroke that can cause you to have bleeding inside of your brain. >> reporter: researchers looking at 68,000 patients and calculated their risk of developing heart difficult ease over the neck decade. it is paided on age, sex and blood pressure. their risk considered low should not take aspirin. >> you need to check with your doctor to see if you need to continue to take the a aspirin. >> reporter: study found that 17 percent of woman were taking aspirin unnecessarily, compared to 5 percent of men. brian, believes that using aspirin over past ten years
