now, possible brick in the search for missing south jersey mother. >> police pull over the woman's hulls, in brooklawn camden county, driving her car. the missing mom from mt. laurel, burlington county. our jan carabeo joins us now at the police department in mt. laurel with the latest information, jan good morning. >> two weeks to the day since this mother of two disappeared, no posts on facebook, and they believe this is foul play. they're relieved this morning that her husband is in police custody for questioning and they are demanding answers. >> he's the man now in police custody. kyle crosby, being questioned in the disappearance of his wife erika crosby. police stopped him for a traffic violation last night in the missing woman's car. family and friend of the 26 year old missing mom suspect foul play. >> we know deep down inside that he's done something. >> family tells "eyewitness news" that crosby was last

seen december 30th with her husband at a restaurant in cherry hill. since her disappearance, they say, they fawn her usually tidy apartment in chaos broken glass broken window blind, and no shower curtain or rod. they say crosby who has a seven year old and two month old daughter would never voluntarily walk away from her family. >> i just hope she is okay. i hope she is out there. i hope she okay. i just hope he tells where she is. >> dozens of family and friends gathered here at the mt. laurel police station wait to go hear new information about crosby's disappearance hoping kyle crosby will talk with police. >> many ' thanking god they got him, and i'm just hoping to god he tells us where she is. >> kyle crosby has been in trouble before for assault and drug offenses, again, he is in police custody, this morning for questioning, in his wife's disappearance, no official word this morning that he has been charged in connection

with that disappearance. reporting live in mt. laurel, jan carabeo cbs-3 eyewitness movements now back open i295 burlington county, new jersey, after tanker truck carries fuel overturned in the southbound lanes. on the roadway the driver was taken to area hospital for treatment, now, if you drive in this area, this morning please use caution clean up crews remain on the shoulder. >> some drivers in wynnefield will need to plan an alternate route this morning officials say a 20-inch water main broke last night on 57th street between wynnefield and cardinal streets. the section of road is closed until further notice while crews work to repair that main. >> investigators are trying to figure out what sparked this fire at home in millville cumberland county. the fire start dollars just before 11:00 last night in the house on north third street. despite the heavy flames told no one was hurt.

among the issues he is expected to discuss the financial health of the state's workers pension fund, and new jersey's transportation trust funds which pays for bridge and tunnel repairs. the governor may also mention ongoing rebuilding effort following hurricane sandy. >> the central bucks school board will discuss the status of a central bucks west high school guidance counselor. >> she had posted this facebook post. it was directed towards a die-in protesting grand jury decisions not to indictment people in the deaths of two african-american men. well, could the ncaa restore joe paterno's ones that were stripped from his resume during the sandusky sex scandal. working toward a settlement, related to the punishment levels against the school for

failing to stop sandusky, no word on specifics of the negotiations, but, any potential settlement could involve paterno's 111 wins vacated by the ncaa. now if those wins were restored the late coach would once again be the all time leader in victories among major programs. well the ohio state buckeyes have made history first team ever to win the college football national championship playoffs to do it. buckeyes sophomore elliot was offensive mvp and for good reason, he ran for four touchdowns and 246 yards. ohio state started the first ever playoff as the four seed, but they win it all, 4220 he to 20, over the oregon ducks, more on the game, coming up in sport. >> well, celebration in columbus got little out of hand overnight. police used pepper spray to try and control rowdy fans, after the buckeyes win authority say fans had 30, 40 fires and trash cans and dumpsters, and so far, there are no final reports on the amount of arrests.

>> investigators are looking for the cause every underground fire at penn station in new york city. flames smoke came shooting -- shooting up from the subway greats. no word on injuries or the extent of damages. >> meanwhile ntsb investigators, they're also searching for with a caused smoke to fill a train packed with passengers in washington d.c. commuters say the train stopped right before it filled one heavy smoke yesterday afternoon. one person died, more than 80 others were treated for injuries. some riders say they were stuck on the smokey train for almost an hour until firefighters came to the rescue. >> we swallowed that smoke.

coy hear children and women fainting and i never experienced anything like that. >> metro officials say they're looking into what caused the smoke and will investigate if proper protocols were followed. right now it is 6:13, we want to check in with katie for the forecast. >> our forecast is very quiet overall, erika over the next couple of days, not only a chance to seymour sunshine, for a nice long stretch, but also going to have a chance to moderate up on the thermometer, too. one little hiccup, it is a very minor hiccup, it is a storm system that has yet to even form, right now we are watching the retreat full retreat of the system that brought in the whole mess that we saw yesterday. but notice, there is not really anything well defined at this point, east of the rockies. but there will be by tomorrow. and that's a storm that's going to eventually sort of just track to the south. there is a little bit of model disagreement right now where the northern fringe of that ends up. so i'm throwing in at least a chance for flurry maybe some freezing rain down near the shore points tomorrow. but it is just a chance.

disappearance, he was pulled over, by police, in brooklawn yesterday, driving his missing wife's car. now, family, friends and police, all want answers. erica crosby disappeared december 30th. she was last seen with her husband, kyle crosby at a cherry hill restaurant. and here we are he can exactly two weeks later as family and friends haven't been able to reach her. no call, no text, no facebook posts, or any of the usual means of communication. crosby's family suspect foul play. they say the 26 year old's usually tidy apartment was left a mess, broken glass and broken window blind. no shower curtain or rod. they want her husband to talk to police. >> i'm just thanking god they got home. i want to know where erica is, and i want kyle to comfort and tell us. that's what we want right now. because we know deep down inside that he's done something. >> now crosby has two young daughters, as far as kyle

crosby goes, court documents show he has a long history with police, he's been in trouble before for drug and assault offenses, again no word this morning from officials that he has been charged in connection with this disappearance, he was brought in by police for questioning, and questioned overnight. reporting live in mt. laurel, jan carabeo cbs-3 "eyewitness news". jan, still to sign of a missing mother in delaware. she has been missing since her children were taken by their father on friday night. thirty-five year old keisha hamilton was last seen at her home in children a her four year old daughter and four month old son were the subject after amber alert over the weekend. now, they were both found safe in indianna with their father. cortez hamilton is in jail, there and waiting to be brought back to delaware to face charges. >> coming up on 6:33, your traffic and weather together. here's kate. >> i good morning ukee, high, everybody, storm system from yesterday has now thankfully long since departed. it has left behind certainly a handful every clouds. skies clearing pretty quickly see that looking at the three

hour loop how this sort of thin vale of cloud cover on the satelite just sort of dwindles, fizzles from north to south actually giving you a indication of where the winds flow is, coming out of the north, too. so with that factored in, definitely feeling colder, feeling more like the teens 20's, in most instances here, the one that always tends to stand out like a sore thumb is the clearest part of the pack, mount pocono, temperatures dropped wedly but with the wind and higher elevation yes, feeling more like sub zero at this point. so bundle it on up out there. that's the key. but, with that said, notice, even though we have a breeze, should help to dry things out through the day but our temperatures are too marginal with freeze that i got to throw in the potential for anybody for that lingering freezing potential on the surface. so if it looks like it has got sheen to it, there is real good chance that it has in fact frozen over it, goes for the roads goes for the rales, certainly goes for any sidewalks, if you are taking the dog for a walk, but just other than, that things looking up for us here today.

there is a storm nearby by tomorrow. generally speaking, we expect it will pass us by to the south, but it is going to come close enough, that we might need to just keep an eye on t so that, other than that, things are looking pretty good for our forecast . >> we do have some problems, starting to upon up, not necessarily weather-related but here on the schuylkill expressway, you can see flashing light up in the right-hand corner there this is the eastbound side right around belmont where we have a disabled vehicle on the scene there, with crews trying get it out of the way so you can see some brake lights headed eastbound toward the center city area, westbound moving just little slowly toward the king of prussia area there as well. now, over on 95, just between the walt whitman bridge and broad street disable vehicle right over here, pushed over into the right hand shoulder. not really setting anybody back too much just pretty much

on, heat comes out the top of your head. account colds weather cause you to catch a cold? >> so remember, first of all that the reason why we catch the common cold, become expose today infection by the virus that causes it, usually the vine owe virus. that's the basic issue here. but researchers did come out with a recent study that is suggesting there might be a connection. they looked at the airway cells of mice and found that in decreased temperatures, those airway cells were less able to fight off the virus. so hence, this connection that there may and connection between the cold weather and getting the virus, but his is what i would say. i think there are a lot of factors that goo into why we tend to get colds in the wintertime when it is cold. i think it is important to bundle up. but i think there are a loft factors involved. >> say you get stuck with a nasty cold. if you take over the counter medication but really treating symptoms or can you help curb the lent of the cold? >> really dealing with symptoms here, that's important to keep in mind. so you get the stuff over the counter which can be very helpful in helping you kind of get through it when trying to fight off the illness, but really talking about symptoms,

they will not shorten the duration of the illness. and remember, for kids, a lot of over the counter medications are not necessarily recommended for kids. so make sure to talk to your child's pediatrician or family doctor first before you go ahead and get those. >> i remember when i had a cold not too long ago, i put on my facebook page so family what should i do? feed a cold, star after fever? i got both? i got both. so i tried everything. >> okay, how did it work out? >> welshing i got rid of it eventually, but i let it run its course. but is there -- >> feed a cold starve a fever -- something like that? really, there is really not much to that quite honestly, old wives tail. this is the thing about it, i don't want you starving anything as a physician when you are sick. i want you to be nutritionally sound and eat proper nutrition, that's real important. i also don't want you to withhold fluids, being dehydrated can make it a lot worse can impede healing. so want to make sure you're drinking fluids, eating proper meals even when you are sick. that's real important.
