knew this woman's routine and used that to target ambush and murder her in the middle of the morning. calling for answers for closure, for cap tour. >> i just hope. >> family of 56 year-old kim jones is asking why, after a woman described as hard working, and well educated was murdered in broad daylight. >> from a person who, you know, never had any enemies and, you know like i said was born and raised around everybody. she knew who she was. >> it is like, who would. >> we do believe she was targeted. >> reporter: police say jones was waiting for a septa bus to take to work. she was standing at the corner of 12th and jefferson. investigators say the gun man walk up and shot her once in the back of the head. shortly after 9:00 she died at the scene. >> someone knew her routine. somebody knew every morning

news". >> steve, thanks very much. officials at an olde city museum are looking to see if any of their art was damage in the fire in the basement. chopper three over the former second bank of the you had on chestnut street. you can see thick smoke shooting from one of those doors today. fire fighters quickly got the those flames under control though and no one was injured. philadelphia police have reopened kelly drive tonight after a multiple car crash that sent three people to the hospital. this happened near the intersection of brewery hill drive. the roadway was shut down in both directions for several hours. investigators are still piecing together the events that led up to that collision. not far away another crash is also under investigation this one at corner of kelly drive and sedgley drive around 1:00 this morning. no one was injured. a montgomery county daze carry mains closed after authorities shut it down following unexplained death of the infant last week.

the as the i team charlotte huffman explains this isn't the the first time there has within trouble in the day care. >> reporter: exactly how 59 month-old girl died at wyndmoor learning center is still unclear. autopsy results are pending. but inspection reports following the child's death shed light on how the infant was cared for. a review of surveillance video found a staff member at the center was seen placing a blanket over the child's face while she slept. when paramedics a arrived to resuscitate the the child the staff member was seen trying to hide the blanket. the iteam has learned that the wyndmoor center has been cited for improper care of a sleeping raw child n2010 inspectors found a infant sleeping with the toy. an inspection last week following the child's death found staff had improperly supervised children in cribs and a child was not placed in age appropriate rest equipment. >> a major shock. i would have never expect that

it was a 61 year-old virginia woman who died after smoke filled a subway station and continue until washington d.c. hundreds were stranded on a train as the tunnel filled with smoke yesterday afternoon. officials say that something came into contact with the the high voltage third rail causing an electrical arc. and septa wants to let riders know in the event of trouble under ground and reassure them that the authority is prepared. >> to that end they gave our walt hunter an exclusive ride along today. >> reporter: scenes like this from monday's deadly incident as smoke filled the metro tunnel in washington show what septa a officials say, that they understand very well any emergency unfolding aboard a train underground can be especially frightening for passengers. >> we're in the dark, closed environment, you feel trapped and all that is

it will be moving north east and off shore but there are band of rain and even some snow develop as far north as virginia. that will be moving our way tomorrow morning. so chance of the snow shower through central and south parts of the delaware and also extreme south jersey mainly tomorrow morning and then moves toward north and ease and skies will clear. the thursday we have partly sunny skies. we will see storm system ride to the north. we will stay try. friday looking good. high temperatures rising through the the 30's heading toward 40 degrees. a as far as this event overnight and early tomorrow morning here's at who is the the best chance of seeing a coating of snow. dover, southern parts of the delaware, near georgetown millville potential for a few inches of snow. even toward have the shore an icy mix. possibly into atlantic city. as far as forecast is concerned through the overnight and tomorrow morning scattered snow showers, south jersey and delaware less than an inch. more like a coating and slick spots. the not everyone will see it
