walt, thanks very much. our temperatures climbed in the 40's today but it is not going to last, get ready for a big drop and some rain this weekend. the meteorologist kate bilo is live on the cbs-3 sky deck with what we can expect, kate. >> thanks, chris. it was in the 40's, still is in fact but we had a gusty wind making it feel ten to 15 degrees colder then thermometer indicated. cold but sunny start but then tracking rain especially on sunday. lets look the at how things are shaping up and what i want to draw your attention to are some snow showers lining autopsy long an arctic cold front that moved through new england earlier today and pushing through our area we are not seeing a ton of precipitation with these snow showers but they moved through berks county, portions of lehigh county and couple snow showers moving toward the philadelphia area at the moment. we're not going to see much but we do see flurries here and there that is what you are seeing. notice that moving in southern montgomery county in to bucks county and a few flakes or rain drop or two moving in

portions of new jersey. lets look at what temperatures are doing outside because it the is chilly, feels a whole lot colder then it is. we are still at four at the the airport. forty in dover. thirty-nine in wilmington. 35 degrees in reading. wind have been strong all day especially the case here in the city when walking through the building and get that wind tunnel effect in the city and feels colder then 40 degrees. the right now feels like 31 in philadelphia, 21 allentown and only five in mount pocono. with the clear skies tonight temperatures will drop very quickly. your first forecast we are down to 31 by 9:00, 27 by 11:00. notice how quick we fall out of the the 40's in the 20's. we will end up in the teens overnight and for a brief time tomorrow morning it will feel like single digits. tomorrow wind calms down, that is good news, high pressure overhead. we are tracking a storm coming up the coast as we get in the the day on sunday. watch high pressure moving overhead and then that system forms off the coast of the

town ship with more on this very close call, matt. >> reporter: this happened between 12:30 and 1:00 p.m. and officials we spoke to with the ymca say it is fairly remarkable that no one was injured. video shows just how close this was to being a much sadder story during typically busy day here at ridley area ymca an 86 year-old woman had gotten into that car just after her work out when she went to leave things went wrong. >> we had one of our members drive through the wall of our pool. we are not sure whether it was a car malfunction or she hit accelerator instead of the break. >> reporter: police clarified soon thereafter saying would the man's foot slipped off the brake and hit the gas accelerating rapidly. she went fast enough to break through an 8-inch wall car stopping just short of plunge go into the pool . there were a few swimmers in the pool doing laps. the none however in the lane closest to the broken wall. >> absolutely we are blessed that there were no injuries, it was during a lapse swim

we have learned more about the temple university student who fell from a window to her death last night this happened at 16th and chestnut, in center city philadelphia. "eyewitness news" reporter justin finch is live at temple with reaction who knew this young woman, justin. >> reporter: her name is rebecca kim and on campus here those who knew her said that she was kind with a bright future ahead of her and they are said to hear that future has been cut short. friend of rebecca kim knew her as becca and at 18 it is hard for them to talk about her in the past tense. >> she was sweet very helpful, always smiling. she was a real positive person. >> reporter: kim was a freshman at temple university studying pharmacy. rayshell newman remembers seeing her familiar face in their chemistry class at the

the start of the semester. >> when i saw her in chemistry class we work together and all that kind of stuff. >> reporter: the two graduated from wissohickon high but first met in middle school. >> i heard with it this morning because i was devastated. i heard her name. >> reporter: police are continuing to investigate kim's death thursday night officials say that she fell, from an eighth floor window of the art institute of philadelphia dorm near 16th and chestnut the streets. the authorities say she was there visiting two male students police have questioned them both. down below a busy sidewalk where kim felon to a 44 year-old woman and taken to hahnemann hospital with neck and gang injuries. she lost some teeth but is expect to recover. now, police also did recover a cell phone from kim at jefferson hospital where she died. they say that could be an indication that perhaps she was taking a photo the owe when she fell from that window. that of course remains under investigation. police have yet to identify that 44 year-old woman. we are live on the campus of

temple i'm justin finch for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". a tractor trailer loses control on the new jersey turnpike and hits dividing barrier cause ago this trail tore split. "eyewitness news" on the scene as crews worked to clear rock salt that it spilled on both side of the turnpike in runnemede. the accident happened in the southbound lanes just before 5:00 this morning. the driver was not hurt all lanes were moving again by 10:00 a.m. and we already have problems on our favorite spot on the schuylkill expressway right around city avenue an accident here you can see police activity the on the scene and either westbound lanes of city avenue approaching king of prussia area. you can see them cleaning that up, pushed over into the right-hand shoulder, blocking out part of the right-hand lane as traffic squeezes by to the left-hand side. over on i-95 around cottman avenue slow go in the southbound lanes here. we will lose out that right-hand lane due to construction, that is something we have grown used to so far but heading toward

we've got more breaking news now a 14 year-old boy is stabbed in the chest, police say by another teenager in west philadelphia. >> lets get to "eyewitness news" reporter diana rocco live at the scene, diana. >> well, jessica and chris what we know right now is police continue to investigate that 14 year-old is currently in critical condition at the children's hospital and police are in the process of trying to notify that teen's parents. police say this all started over some kind of an argument inside school during the the lunch hour at west philadelphia high school. it was between several teenagers at lunch. that argument spilled over in the after school hours when all of the kid were out riding their bike on the street. they ran into each other again. they pick up that argument when three boys were all standing in the same area one pulled out a knife and stabbed the other in the chest. >> after school these kids all apparently know each other in the area riding their bikes
