"eyewitness news" inside penndot's command center as they monitor the roads and prepare for tomorrow's wintry weather. >> storm scan3 tracking that system headed our way and new at 11:00 we have updated snow totals. good evening to you, i'm jessica dean. >> and i'm chris may. meteorologist kathy orr having another busy night in the weather center with late information now. kathy. >> right now we are looking at this system moving swiftly toward the delaware valley and new information on snow amounts and the advisory from the national weather service has been expanded as well.

first take a look at storm scan3. the very latest showing the center of the storm or that area low pressure right through minneapolis heading towards chicago its a fast moving clipper. we'll be seeing a little bit of a transformation going on here. i'll talk about that in a second. first look at these temperatures. allentown 29 redsing 28, philadelphia 33 going down below freezing overnight tonight. earlier this afternoon we had a few sprinkles and few flurries. this will freeze overnight tonight so we could have some patchy black ice come tomorrow morning so please be aware of that. then the snow moves in. between noon and 3:00 p.m. it will be moving in from the west towards the east, by west i mean the lehigh valley and by 3:00 p.m. seeing it everywhere. the steadiest snow during the evening commute between 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. and i about 9 o'clock the snow will be coming to an end and by midnight we'll be drying out. winter weather advisories have been posted. we had it to the west of philadelphia earlier today but expanded through delaware and south jersey. the reason is because there

will be a secondary development with this clipper off the coast of delaware and that could enhance some of the moisture especially through south jersey. so, we expect about a general accumulation of 1 to 3 inches of snow n-philadelphia one, one to two at best. immediately down the shore, a coating to an inch but there will be an area in interior south jersey even as you head down the shore that we could be seeing that enhanced moisture and possibly totals up to 4-inches of snow because of that secondary development. another low developing off the coast. it's all going to be determined by how much moisture and warm air that pulls in. it will be mixing with sleet as well. coming up, we have updated information coming into the weather center as we speak. we'll update on anything new talk about a potential weekend storm and more snow next week that would make it three snowfalls within one seven-day. haven't sheen since last yearly i'll be back later on with the broadcast. >> kathy thank you. you can track tomorrow's snow by downloading the cbsphilly weather app.

the president's speech was complimented with graphics and statistics that related to the president's remarks. they could also tweet their favorite lines. >> just a short time ago jurors broke off deliberations in the trial of former tv sportscaster don tollefson. the jury deliberated late into the night after getting the case late today. "eyewitness news" reporter justin finch is in doylestown with new detailsism the jury had the case for some five hours and it became very clear that they were nowhere near making a decision in the tollefson case. throughout deliberations they raised several questions their most recent centering on exact dates of eagles away games, witness testimony as well as financial records of certain victims in this case. for weeks these jurors watched tollefson defend himself against allegations that he fleeced his victims of 340 thousands. that money paid to his charities in exchange for sporting events benefiting children. the prosecution says most of those outings never happened

and that he used that money to bank roll his own lifestyle. now, tollefson has admitted that he did do some wrongdoings in this case but he said he never set out to scheme anyone. and said that he's just a bad businessman. now, if he is convicted, will he face some 37 years in prison and deliberations resume at the courthouse on wednesday. at the bucks county courthouse i'm justin finch cbs3 "eyewitness news." >> the woman charged with murder for setting her newborn on fire had a court appearance today in mount holly. hyphernkemberly dorvilier went before a judge via video. she was arrested friday night. police say she left her pemberton home after giving birth in a bathroom and according to police she then drove the baby a couple miles away to a dark road to kill the newborn. according to court documents she had a can of wd40 and a lighter in her possession. >> well, there's some disturbing charges tonight against a bucks county man. he is accused of inappropriately touching two girls during his daughter's

sleepovers. "eyewitness news" reporter david spunt is live in bensalem. david, what have you learned tonight? >> reporter: well, chris right now david huebsch is behind bars here in bucks county on a $750,000 bail. detectives tell me this case is far from over. in fact, they were actively seeking out more possible victims. 36-year-old david huebsch said nothing as bensalem police officers walked him to the back of a squad van. he's accused of inappropriately touching two 10-year-old girls at his daughter's sleepovers. >> it's very scare tree have that happen so close to home. >> reporter: ann-marie catalano lives across the street from huebsch, right across from the house in which police say the alleged touching happened on two separate occasions. >> my daughter is only four, she's not sleeping over anywhere yet but it makes me want to make sure i know the parents well. "eyewitness news" spoke to another neighbor who asked us to hide her identity. she says huebsch is well known in the neighborhood. >> i'm shocked by the whole thing, just totally shocked.

alone. >> the operator wasn't responsive at all. there was a female passenger who walks you know, she could hear me, she could responds to me. she started to scream her baby. i went to get the back door of the car opened and there's a child in the car seat. >> officer gallagher used a knife to cut that car seat out of the wreckage. the baby and mother survived. however, jason anderson a 33-year-old who worked at dover international speed way was killed in that crash. >> philadelphia archbishop charles chaput reveals more details about pope francis' visit to philadelphia. snow. mother nature will provide about an inch in the poconos that's just about it for you come tomorrow afternoon. on storm scan3 you can see we're in between the clouds. it's mostly cloudy out there with some breaks and our eyewitness weather watchers are reporting some areas of fog out there as well f you're going to be driving during the early morning hours be watchful of that. take a look at some of our reports from our eyewitness weather watchers. temperatures basically in the 30's beltway we do have some 20's to talk about. we'll start off right about where where hal reports in collingswood 30 degrees, not much of a wind out there so we don't have to worry about anything in the way of wind chills come tonight or tomorrow morning. lou reporting 31 degrees with a calm wind in eagleville. delaware looking at many of our eyewitness weather watchers reporting, it is 26 degrees in new castle county, delores says in newark no wind but a temperature of 26 degrees. take a look at some of these numbers. in philadelphia it's 33 at international airport, 28 already in reading and allentown 29. the poconos sitting at

21 degrees. we will watch this clipper zip quickly toward the region tomorrow and then it's going to redevelop. something that these clippers don't usually do, they do not pack a lot of moisture but it's going to redevelop right off the coast of delaware and possibly push more moisture toward the coast and where we see that warm cold line, the line between the sleet and the snow will be where we have some enhanced precipitation. take a look at future weather. this is what it will look like tomorrow at noon as the snow, sleet and rain move in from the west. and you can see the temperatures in philadelphia above freezing but reading and lancaster at freezing so you have that heavier wet snow. by 5 o'clock there's some indication that is we'll see enhanced moisture with this secondary development, the low off the coast pushing towards millville, atlantic city and dover and then the snow continues through 8:00 p.m. and then it zips away. with that in mind temperatures will falling below freezing but still the wet snow will be the type and variety that we'll be seeing with this. here's what to expect. generally 1 to 3 inches with this. immediately down the shore

some mixing going on but there will be an area interior south jersey possibly even including atlantic city through possibly dover and into millville that there will be a few little patches. we may hear some amounts up to 4-inches but that will be just about it. once again it will be a heavy wet snow mainly falling during the evening commute. so terrible timing with this. mostly cloudy overnight the low temperature 28. tomorrow light snow in the afternoon mixing with rain but basically down the shore the temperature 34 degrees and for the evening commute this is what we expect. the rain and some wet snow showers reduced visibility during the evening rush, mainly snow by that point wet roads, slick spots so please remember just to take it slow. it will be a slow go. then our next system comes through on saturday, potential for a coastal storm bringing a variety of weather and then another chance of snow early next week by tuesday. that's three different chances in that seven-day forecast. that's the latest with our eyewitness weather forecast. we'll be back with sports and
