in the here on storm scan three at the local level, tri-state sweep not picking up on anything but gun clutter at this hour but just zoom it out one time and most of west virginia at this point is engulfed in some of that moisture. it is modest moisture it is a clipper system after all but timing is way less than ideal, so lets walk you through more of what this system has up its sleeve for our area. we will go out to the winter weather advisory posted. they are not up just yet they take effect at ten or 11:00 a.m. and depend on what time they will take effect but it is philadelphia including montgomery and lower bucks counties now, those were counties not included until just about an hour and a half ago so now it is updating the coverage zone there but generally it looks like southern tear of the region will be hit hardest with this clipper and with the timing coming it will be coming in the early afternoon and toward evening rush. that is bad timing, obviously. 29 degrees our current

north philadelphia, two officers are injured during a violent three car crash, it happened when they were rushing a shooting victim in the hospital. "eyewitness news" reporter jan carabao joins us live at 24th and lehigh with the details jan, good morning. >> reporter: erika, good morning. lehigh avenue at 24th and 25th street in north philadelphia is still closed this morning. you can see why this bad crash sits in the middle of the road here. three cars totaled and a lot of debris in the middle of lehigh avenue. it is surprising in one was seriously injured as a result. most severe is a cut and possible concussion to the police officer driving that cruiser. this is a three car accident involving that police officer's cruiser and two other cars. crash happened at 25th and lehigh around 3:00 this morning. the police officers were transporting a 24 year-old gunshot victim to temple hospital at the time of the accident. they were coming from the 2400 block of north hollywood street and they had lights and

siren on. gunshot victim had three shots to his legs. the as police were traveling on lehigh avenue they got in the accident with the lexus traveling north on 25th. those two cars crash in the third vehicle a camaro, traveling west, on lehigh. everyone was taken to temple in stable condition. the drivers of those other two cars only had bumps and bruises. in word this morning on how fast any within was driving but we are learning more about the drivers of those two other vehicles. we have license they are bet 29 year-old men who are not licensed. >> whenever we are rushing someone to the hospital we are activating our lights and sirens, and try to drive there as quickly and safely as possible but in this situation for some reason an accident investigating officers will determine how and why this accident owe kurd. >> reporter: again that investigation continues this morning. lehigh avenue still closed

tony and his 61 year-old son sam, met for the first time yesterday in grand rapid. now sam's mom sent a letter back in the 50's telling tony he had a son but tony's wife hid that letter. the two have a lot to be catching up on. >> i always asked my mommy said well what does she look like. she said get look in the mirror. >> i had my whole life... unaudible. >> tony lived in michigan, his son was raised in williamsport pennsylvania. the newly reunited family has arranged a paternity test just to be sure but all these years later, we will be right back.
