developing right now, a corner store clerk is fighting for his life after getting shot in the face. that shooting happened right in front of the two-year old boy, too. we're live with the search for the shooter. and the snow has stopped falling but you might see slick spots when you leave home this morning as you are trying to get out of your neighborhood. lets get over to kate toy see what is happening, the the snow is out of here, right, katie. >> it is licensing gone, guys, we are starting to see but that potential for these left over slick spot and there has been a hint of left over moisture, wind driven in the wake of the system that rolled through yesterday, our snow totals verified very well though. we have that coat to go up to 3 inches, plus across the board here to contend with but the the road crews even up here at pleasant valley, middle and high school they did a great job. things have been cleared away in broadheadville where it is 26 degrees but if there are any left over missed spots of sidewalk, your driveway, front stoop of the house you could take a tumble.

morning, hi carol. >> well, hi katie hi everybody. we're out in radnor now in king of prussia tredyffrin down ship. we have been following this salt guy for about 25 minutes now, he must be driven crazy with us behind him but we're in the driven crazy behind a salt truck. we have been on some curves some slick areas and he is throwing down a ton of salt. i cannot imagine how much salties contained in that vehicle because he has been spreading this stuff for a long, long time on some of the twisting road that have trees covering them so it doesn't get any sunlight and those are streets you have to pay really close attention to. now a lot of everything has been plowed but even so, even with that you can see the road glistening a little bit as we look out there right now. nobody is taking any chances after horrendous mess that was out here on sunday.

variety store. "eyewitness news" reporter jan carabao joins us with the very latest jan good morning. >> reporter: erika, good morning this store employee was in the only shot three times including once in the face but there were other customers and employees there at the time of the shooting including the store owner who was behind the counter at the time holding a little will boy. this could have ended even worse but there is one main still in the hospital this morning in critical condition. he may not survive. the robbery happened just after 8:30 wednesday night at this store on the 1200 block of east stafford street in germantown. ones police arrived they found that five three-year old store employee shot once in the face and twice in the leg and taken to einstein and will likely lose an eye. police say that witnesses tell them this suspect entered wearing a white hoodie and ski mask armed with the silver hand gun. after robbing the store police say he shot the store employee for some reason and that store employee had been working in the back deli counter. the suspect then ran away
