so, up in the poconos, sunday night through monday you're going to see mainly snow, a little bit of sleet and freezing rain possible. then into the lehigh valley down through philadelphia a mix of snow, ice and rain. again best shot to see the freezing rain will be across the northern suburbs of bucks montgomery chester county up through the lehigh valley. south jersey into delaware mainly rain. again initially you could see a brief burst of some snow litter tomorrow night but mainly a rain event for you guys. let's time it out for you. through the day on sunday, clouds just thicken up. no problems during the day. travel looks pretty good. it's tomorrow night we get after 9 o'clock or so some light snow could break out across the northern viewing area into the lehigh valley and poconos and into the overnight we start to see the heavier moisture moving on in. notice that pink line, that's the freezing rain and sleet so initial in philadelphia we see a brief shot of some snow. then it quickly changes over to sleet freezing rain. then eventually rain. the question is how far north does that rain get? i still think that cold air is stubborn so northern bucks montgomery the lehigh valley probably an extend period of
6:18 pm
freezing rain early monday morning and then most of the moisture starts to taper off early monday afternoon. the problems areas would be to our north. snowfall amounts not much for philadelphia, maybe up to an inch. up to the north one to tree. northern bucks montgomery lehigh valley potential to see three to six there and then six to 10 in the mountains where we see mainly snow from this events. again ice that could be a problem for the far northern suburbs. check out one model forecast you can see the color shaded areas, that's the best indication of the threat for some freezing rain could be up to a tenth of an inch of ice in some spots on top of snow pack so just keep that in mind very early monday morning. overnight clear, less windy we drop to about 22 for the low temperature. tomorrow a little milder, below average 35, increasing clouds. snow will arrive at night. of course monday ground hog day i don't know the storm may make it easy for him. predictions 118 and 101 of them he's seen his sadd shad dome likely he'll see his shadow monday monday with the clouds around. here's the extended forecast
