been three other injuries, three other people taken to the hospital, one with smoke inhalation and another a fire fighter with a cut to his hand as he was going through this building to make sure everyone was out. here you can see dozens of fire fighters remaining on the scene. the fire is under control but in the out. hot spots continue to flare up throughout the morning. the latest was the on the back side of the building. we cannot see flames right now, just some smoke. but if we look at video shot earlier this morning you can see how big this fire was. we are told this fire broke out here in the six hup block of swede street in norristown around 1:00 this morning. it quickly grew to four alarms. dozens had had to get in here and get everyone evacuated. this is the north apartment here in norristown. there are 23 units here, a lot of people inside. there were dozens of rescues. take a look at this video we have capture a couple of those rescues on video. one man was waving his happened from the upper floors, trying to get help to get out, a with man was

standing on her fourth floor balcony a very dramatic scene here, of course the the cause will have investigators in this fire once it is out but fire chief says he does believe that the fire started in the basement and spread quickly throughout the rest of the building. the this is a chaotic scene in the only for resident here but for resident next door in neighboring apartments, lets take a listen. >> i cannot even imagine, there is ten people are owe that live in the building and going through the the whole building. i cannot imagine. i necessity how i'm feeling it has to be 50 times worse, hundred times worse. >> reporter: of course, the the cause will be up investigated fully once complete fire is extinguish. back out here on the scene you can see many fire fighters still here keeping an eye out on those hot spots. we are told at this point, some 21 people are displays budd that number could grow through time a lot of these people weren't even home at the time.
