today, it is thursday, february 5th, good morning i'm ukee washington. i'm's erika von tiehl. here are stories we are to go today. we are tracking snow this morning. live look at storm scan three. katie has a check of the weather ash the area coming up. we have a massive data breach at one of the company's largest health insurance companies find out how many people are affect and what personal information has been stolen by hackers. a man shoots and kills a would be robber in delaware county, but what police are now saying about the killing and whether there should be any charges. let's start with our forecast and see that snow katie is talking about. >> what kind of snow are we talking about, katie very light snow. you did see on storm scan three it is not quite here

yet. it starting to have move in the north and west most counties. we are looking at sky cam three. live look over ben franklin bridge more specifically here and all is quiet for now. no snow affecting any commuting here along ben franklin bridge or city a as a whole right now. that may change with time. lets go to the radar where at this hour cloud are starting to build in here and generally lehigh valley and berks county as well as in the poconos where we are finding any actual snow right now. we can zoom it out and find out that there is more on the the way the thing is, this is definitely a very very light snowfall that is coming through here, folks. i don't think we are talking a quick coating maybe up to an inch through the northern tear of our area as we expect from yesterday. there could be slick spots and a nuisance for your travel this morning especially as morning progresses we will see that slide through our area from northwest to south east but behind it, i think that end up being the bigger legacy

with this front because a the temperatures will start to plumet here with time and just slowly decline throughout the course of the day but we will start off with light wind but by 8:00 a.m. that breeze will be noticeable. the it will be cranking to sustain wind to 14, 15, 20 miles an hour and that continues through lunch into the evening. with that breeze that means of course it will feel colder as we, go to bed tonight. the currently temperatures are not bad. chilly but not harsh. temperatures in the mid 30's in spots but it is cold enough and ripe enough for snow out there. it is flirting with 40 degrees in northeast philadelphia at this hour. quakertown was in the teens, and new we're in the upper 30's. that will change as we look forward in the forecast. we are looking at low to mid 30's here for philadelphia and shore. watching for those morning snow showers to roll role through. timing is less that be ideal since we do expect it through the typical morning rush but again, it is what happens have after the snow that is a

somerset just after 6:00. police tell us they were chasing the suspect when he fired at one of those officers. that officer return fire but did not hit the suspect. he was taken in custody, no injuries were reported. police say no charges are expect to be filed against a 67 year-old man who shot and killed a would be robber in the delaware county park. >> it happened yesterday after afternoon in cobbs creek park in upper darby township. suspect pointed what turned out to be a toy gun at the victim and men start fighting. that is when victim pulled his own gun and fired at the suspect striking him in the head. >> you know, it is a shake somebody had to die guy at the end of the day bad guy that pulled a stick up lost. >> people getting fed up. you have to protect yourself these days. >> police say a victim did have a concealed carry permit. he was taken the two hospital have after complaining have of chest pains but we're told he is expect to be okay. one week have after lower merion township police

latest forecast from katie good morning. >> that is exactly right. it appears to see that we will be seeing flakes out there but it is more of a big old nuisance then anything. the as we start off by getting out to storm scan 3a tighter zoom to show you our area more localized. it is very obvious where you'll fine the snow, northwestern tear of our region northwestern berks, lancaster county a and lehigh northampton counties and mount pocono. if you are traveling and up that northeast extension you will start to see those flakes flying with time here but this is a a system that moves from northwest to south east. even though we may end up with a, a little bit too light of an accumulation or moisture source through southern tear of the area and too much mild air believe it or in the for that snow to have a chance to stick, we are all going to see the cold air take over here and further north you go yeah, this is going to be something that slows you down here as
