you can see that generally speaking you can see the gwen turning to pink. that will means as temperatures drop, flirting with freezing it will potentially mean even if falling still technically as rain it, could start to freeze on contact. and likely even start to see sleet mixing in here, as well. especially the further north you travel. but here is the bottom line. with this storm time line, we are really just going to be dealing with, we call it, scattered and light precipitation, at any time here today folks. but the thing is, cold air nudges in with time. so what starts as scattered rain showers will likely turn over to freezing rain, and then some sleet. and then later into tonight as temperatures drop even more probably see some light snowflakes mixing in too. but i have to tell you i'm most worn bid ice with this, because ice tends to be the one that is most hairs hard us. so, look at this as we look at feature ice and the, only talking potentially about

far. but just give yourself extra time. we know those temperatures definitely below freeze interesting. specially with these wet roadways, just and little careful. over on the roosevelt everything moving great here as well. southbound lanes headed toward the schuylkill expressway currently no problems, northbound, pretty much the same store lurks as well. out in fishtown, ongoing road work, while i and richmand being take frankford avenue to get on by that scene for the time being. on 95 northbound, as well, on the onramp from cottman avenue, some construction, there just to watch out for and for our area bridges the betsy ross bridge, some speed restrictions there due to ongoing fog from 35 miles per hour the walt whitman bridge not having any problems in the east or westbound lanes. erika, back to you. >> thank you. 5:32 right now. philadelphia police are trying to track down the men who broke into a house in somerton and got a which with pretty pricy loot. now, here's what makes this story so interesting. the victim had recently posted pictures of those items that were stolen on instagram. sus continue finch joins us

from northeast detectives with more on. >> this good morning. >> reporter: good morning, detective looking for three mask menace well as rolex and several gold chains. as you mention victim in the this case may have given himself away by over sharing those items on instagram. let's take you now to video from the scene somerton becomes 2:30 a.m. on sunday, at the brookshire terrace apartments officials say those three men kicked in the front door of an apartment unit, armed and very quickly fed, they wanted that rolex as well as jewelry and any cash that the victim had they did make off with those items also, four other teenage males in that apartment. one of them was able to go to a bathroom and call 911. >> and actual robbers made their way out of second story window, no surprise, that neighbors in that area are very suspicious. and on edge. >> heard the glass all fall, then you heard them scream

that new powerball jackpot? >> and what's to blame for the rise in gas prices? money watch's jill wagner up at the stock exchange in new york jill, good morning. >> reporter: good morning, ukee erika. no surprise to drivers. gas prices are going up. triple same says they've jumped 12 cents in just the past week. the national average now about 2.17 for gallon of regular because of refinery issues, and rise in crude oil prices. still, prices are about a dollar less a gallon than this time last year. >> here on wall street, markets will open after a block buster week. it was one of the best in months. stocks did lose little bit of steam on friday. the dow fell 60 points, the nasdaq dropped 20. >> chipotle is apologizing after hackers took over its twitter feed. then sent out racially offensive messages. the accounts profile picture was changed from a pepper to a swastika. one of the tweets took aim at president obama.

career win as head of men's basketball coach at philadelphia university. he knocks that incredible feat in front of the home crowd over the weekends. jan carabeo joins us know at the team's practice facility in east falls to talk more about it, jan good morning. >> reporter: good morning most certainly an exciting weekend here at philadelphia university of course not only for the men's basketball team, the fan the student but of course the coach. america magee secured the 1,000 win saturday. if you take a look at the video, see all of the excitement un fowl here in front of the home crowd and after the win the school rolled out its newest banner, in honor of the coach. now there is morning, it is back to the court for practice, ahead of tomorrow's game. no doubt everyone here will still be ride that wave of excitement. on saturday of course, coach magee won his 1,000 game making him the second ncaa menace bath cull ball coach to accomplish the feat behind coach over at duke. came against post here at the gallagher center in front of the home crowd. magee won all 1,000 games over

night's grammys including list of the winners go to our website cbsphilly.com. just past 5:43, katie i know how you feel about that rihanna dress. i feel the same way. >> yes, i wasn't totally into it. all right, folks we really have a lot to get to with our eyewitness weathernet work a loft early risers out there. thank you for your report. 31 degrees sent in from keith. he is up in sellers berg around the pocono region where it is freezing rain, very slick, he said, trying to walk and drive. so be safe. can't emphasize that enough here folks. little further south temperatures are actually reading in very similar fashion here. right around freezing. phil sent in 31 degrees, actually in philadelphia, and reporting light freezing rain, as well. but just off to the south this tells the story, david dutch, 33 degrees, just clouds at this hour. he sent that within the last ten minutes. so yes. it gives you the sense that you have definitely got a mixed bag going on out there. and you can sure enough see within the last three hours how the green even though it is scattered showers has all

since gun to turn over to ice or at least the pink indicate that you have either got maybe freezing rain or some sleet that's starting to mix n generally what we've been finding from a lot of our watcher reports, is that it has been freezing rain situation. meanwhile, here's thousand generally breaks down today. as the cold air nudges in, you will be dealing with primarily ice and snow, up to the pocono region, more of mixed bag of light rain icing then eventually, some light snow mixing in, in the pink shaded area. the further south go, just little too warm. so mainly rain, and the further south you travel the less ice becomes a concern. moving forward in the forecast we jump to you thursday, that's when we see the next clipper come along next shot for some light snow showers. and i believe we will be sending things out to meteorologist, carol erickson, yes, out with the cbs-3 mobile weather lab with us again this morning. hi carol. >> well, katie, you know, the rain coming down, normally if it were just a rainstorm we won't be on with this. but, the problem is and as we all know, it is those temperatures. and we are looking in the mobile weather lab in falls

township route one north through pennsylvania, headed to trenton. it is 28 degrees. i'm watching this rain come down. and i am hoping that new jersey dot and del dot and penndot and everybody else got out and did what they needed to do which was to put some brine or something down. because with these temperatures, now, i think the only good news out of this is you can see the traffic moving along just fine, at this point. the fact it got to 43 degrees through the trenton area yesterday, and it was 51 in philadelphia. there will be some residual help from that, just with the ground having absorbed some of the warmer temperatures. but that doesn't last forever. and as this rain comes down, and the column of air cools and it cools all the way to the ground, and the precipitation comes down, especially in the untreated areas, the parking lots, that sort of thing that's when you are going to be finding a problem. but at this point as we head route one north not seeing any kind after issue, but i'll tell you what, with temperatures below the freezing mark, and continuing

to drop a little bit you need to be very, very careful out here. and bring the pets in, it is a wet, cold morning with windchills even lower than the air temperatures out here this morning. let's check on the other roads. with jessica? >> thank you carol. good morning everybody first-hand account of everything. we take you outside take a look at the schuylkill expressway. right around city avenue. you can see sole volume starting to pack in little bit. still everything moving great. roadways just tiny bit damp headed westbound into the king of prussia area. out to 95, see pretty much the same story here. roadways looking pretty damp in both directions, so southbound starting to pick up just little bit of volume. you can see some brakes light here headed toward the center city area, also moving out the right hand lane due to ongoing construction, over there in the work zone. we do have disable vehicle though out in pup err pots grover. on route 100 southbound, at moyer road. just be careful when headed out in that direction. currently no problems for the walt whitman bridge or the ben, but we do have some speed restrictions east and westbound lansdowne to

35 miles an hour, due to fog. ukee back over to you. >> jess, thank you. an autopsy will be perform today for millersville freshman karlie hall of chaddsford, delaware county. the 18 year old was found dead in her dorm room yesterday. her boyfriend faces aggravated assault charges investigators say, two had a physical altercation. also, police in cobbs creek are searching for the gunman involved in a deadly triple shooting. one man was shot and killed inside a home on fern reed street around 11:00 last night. another man and woman are in stable condition with gunshot wounds. montgomery county health officials say a suspected case of measles is a false alarm. lab tests were negative for a 15 year old boy who came into an emergency room on friday. a connecticut woman is accusing bill cosby of behaving inapropriately years ago on the set of the cosby show. helen gumble claims the comedian made sexual advances and leud gestures toward her in his dressing room. but that she refused them. gumble made the allegations at a press conference in boston yesterday, just hours after

fralinger, and what we can expect? >> one of those forecasts where i think looks can definately be very deceiving. and actually it, may end up being little worse outside than what it may appear on storm scan. okay, so granted, there is quite a bit of our area that's not finding anything, in the way of precipitation out there at all. but notice what's happened in the last three hours. see how the rain showers in the green have since turned over to pink. so what is telling that you there are some colder air nudging its way in. sure enough still finding some temperatures that are flirting with or below or right near freezing, and that's the concern. quick check on visible pretty decent fog settling in here with very low-lying cloud cover in atlantic city, up in the poconos under 2 miles generally speaking, it is not ideal. so you want to slow it down because that far too. but in addition as we mentioned moment ago winter weather advisories for the actual precipitation falling. these lasts us until 6:00 a.m. tomorrow. my long 24 hour time periods
