"eyewitness news" reporter natasha brownies tracking breaking developments and joins us live from center city natasha. at the jefferson septa a station, we also know at this point that a woman came up to the septa concourse here notified another passenger that she had been attacked appeared to have been beaten and suffers from injury to her face. rush to a nearby hospital. investigators are combing through surveillance to see if there is anything there to help in this investigation.

sources say this woman went down in the station with another man, willingly in, to a secluded area near the tracks. she was not a passenger waiting on a train at the time. police are also saying that she appears to have been physically assaulted. they have found no evidence of the sexual assault at this point but again, all of this is under investigation. philadelphia police handling the investigation, we're going to stay on top of this and bring you very latest throughout the evening as we get more information reporting live from center city natasha brown cbs-3 "eyewitness news". >> thanks, in a cash a. also breaking news tonight death of the millersville university student today, was ruled a homicide. eighteen year-old karlie hall was found dead in her dorm room, yesterday morning. she's from chad forward, pennsylvania. here on campus for karlie hall. karlie hall was beaten strangled inside her dorm room, prosecutors say her boyfriend, gregorio orrostieta tried to cover up the crime and claimed he waited until hall was dead to call police at 5:00 in the morning and then, formed cpr on her body as police arrived telling office their hall had gone into cardiac arrest. however, students reported to residents assistant that they heard sound of the struggle much earlier at 2:00 in the morning and ra responded. >> knock on the door and didn't get any response and obviously, you know, we believe that is when she would have been murdered or approximately about that time. >> reporter: the 18 year-old from chadds ford was found dead early sunday morning inside her second floor dorm rule at millersville university. orrostieta a of kenneth square had blood on his face and cut on his forehead when police a arrived at bard hall. he said they had been fighting. he backhanded her and shoved

this surveillance video from a lounge social club on mccallister street in philadelphia back on january 24th. police want to identify five people in this video they are all persons of interest in the homicide that also took place on mccallister street. police say after this video was recorded a 34 year-old man was shot several times and was later found slim pink over a steering wheel of the car. imagine waking up in the morning and realize ago this someone robbed your home while were you asleep. three homes on the main line were targeted on the same night and it appears this could happen again. we will turn to "eyewitness news" reporter walt hunter in radnor township with more on the burglary spree, walt. >> reporter: chris, you are right, it is a very scary feeling but one shared by residents of three homes here in garrett hill. they came down the steps this morning and realized burglars had been busy on the first floor while they were sleeping. police say they are very concerned about burglars who

"eyewitness news" reporter cleve bryan says it happens more often then you think. >> reporter: climbing out from under a tarp isn't how adam vanman planned to customize his jeep, someone stole the doors. >> came out, heading to work. i jumped in my truck. i looked across and i can see right the through. >> reporter: he reported the theft february 4th to vineland police. they have received complaints from six separate jeep owners in town all with stolen doors between february 4th and 5th. >> the the door has a peg that goes in there and they screw it the right into put a nut on the bottom and that is a all that hold it in. >> reporter: police say jeep accessories are easily to unload. used door can sell for $300 or

swarthmore delaware county justin. >> reporter: good evening, chris, that is right we are by septa train station on myers and park avenue here and then people coming off that commuter train may be greeted with ice on their cars and might to have check out with temperatures below freezing. you can see with the mobile weather lab. the right now streets are mainly wet, at least main streets. watch out for sidewalks. there are icy spots and i did see people out here salting those sidewalks so keep that in mine. watch out for your driveways at home as well. so again temperatures below freezing, even these main streets we have to watch later on tonight. earlier it was ice toy day in radnor township as well. cars were completely covered with ice drivers had to chip away to clear their windshield and open up their car doors. some side road were affect by icy conditions and again, those road that are not treated with the salt. another hazard icy problem they are not as quick and may want to throw some salt in your neighborhood or at your
