those on the bottom of your screen. >> now we check in with katie for the latest on the conditions outside in your neighborhood. katie, good morning. >> good morning, guys. you know easy does it. that's really what we will be saying all morning take your time, and slow it down out there. whether you are traveling by road or by foot today and i have to say by foot, may end up being the more trecherous option. because, we have seen the road crews do fantastic job of treating the roads. but, even as i took my first step out here on the skydeck it is a little slick t makes me nervous. i'm not going to lie. but, let's go on out to storm scan3, and we did mention that there is still little freezing drizzle out there. you can see, it is very, very fine, if you're fining it at all right now it, would be salem county portions every cape may county, generally south of i-95, through delaware state. one quick zoom out shows that we're seeing this retreat. thankfully. many of are you done with the precipitation entirely, most every us are in fact, but it is just left-overs that we're worried b so there are still winter weather advisory posted even though precipitation has

headed toward center city. no real volume to speak of. that's okay. we want you to slow down and take your time headed down on 9a42, out in new jersey, everything looking free and clear here. northbound lanes where we see most of the problems, but everything moving just fine, though, so far. otherwise, we do have some problems out in new jersey on the new jersey turnpike, actually did accident investigation from accident last night around cranberry new jersey on the new jersey turnpike southbound, between new brunswick and hightstown, take route 130 southbound to get on by. erika, back to you. >> thank you jessica. developing right now all southbound outer lanes of the new jersey turnpike, and cranberry township remain closed this morning, as police continue to investigate this deadly pile up. one person killed in in that crash, more than four dozen others injured. four tractor-trailers, two box trucks tour bus several cars, one every which caught fire. see the flames, all involved. now, the southbound inner lanes have since reopened. >> pennsylvania state police say icy roads may have caused

this fiery crash. it happened after a tanker truck ran offer the road and caught fire around 11:00 onramp to 76 eastbound and west conshohocken, luckily, no one was injured. authorities closed the ramp for almost three hours to investigate that crash. >> sidewalks, parking lots will be tough to navigate as you leave for work and school today. "eyewitness news" reporter justin finch joins us now, in king of prussia, to check some conditions for you, justin good morning. >> reporter: ukee, good morning, yes, perhaps you can hear that snow plow in the back gown here, preps are already underway here in king of prussia. you know, preparations going to be very key today making sure the roads are salted and clear, and also, all a finds this very thin coating every icy snow, and let me tell you it is quite slick rather quite slick underneath all of that here the roads, however, are pretty clear shiny but clear for the most part. slow from, says clear commute

"eyewitness news" reporter jan carabeo, joins us now at philly international with the very latest on this scary stuff. january, good morning. >> erika, good morning. there were dozen of passengers on board this plane when it took off here, at philadelphia international airport yesterday. fortunately, no serious injuries. however, this is a rocky landing, no one on board will soon forget. >> snapped a picture of american airlines flight 1825 sitting nose to the ground after a rocky landing at houston's george bush airport. on board, 52 people and four crew members who just hours earlier had taken off from philadelphia. a frightening landing, a spokesperson says, cautioned

when the plane's nose gear did not deploy. a problem identified by the plane's pilot as he spoke to air traffic control. >> we have not had success we do believe our nose landing gear is still retracted. our two main landing gears appear to be down, and the nose wheel appears to be up. >> i understand also your plan is to evacuate upon the aircraft stopping on the runway. we concur with that. >> reporter: the american air frein flight operated by us airways depart from the fray just after 6:00 monday morning, after the plane was forced to make this emergency landing, dozens of passengers, then had to exit the plane by aircraft slides. fortunately, no one was hurt. >> he the airline talked to the pilots. they made the determination to go ahead and do a landing without the benefit of the nose gear. that occurred right around 9:30, 9:40 fortunately there were no injuries. the plane did have an unusual landing, a bit of rough landing, but again no injuries.

>> reporter: and an airline spokesperson tells us this morning, that the airline is now cooperating with authorities to try to figure out exactly what went wrong last night. we're reporting live outside every philadelphia international airport, jan carabeo, cbs-3, "eyewitness news". >> january thank you developing right now latest deal to sell the former revel casino hotel is off. the owners are scrapping the deal to sell it to florida developer glenn straub for $95.4 million. straub is not giving up, though. he wants a bankruptcy court judge to approve an extension of the sale deadline to february 28th. the hearing on that request is scheduled for tomorrow morning. >> new this morning philadelphia police hope surveillance video can help them catch two suspects in a double shooting in kensington. a third suspect is in custody. police say two men wearing ski masks opened fire on two men in their 20's ontario and jasper street. one man is in critical condition, the other is in stable condition. there is no word yet on a

motive. >> and autopsy will be perform today on 52 year old man who died after getting pulled out of this burning row home in wilmington. the fire broke out last night in the home of on the 3900 block of north market street. three other people suffered minor injuries, including a nine year old girl. investigators are working to figure out what sparked that fire. >> a college community comes together to remember the life of karlie hall. hundreds came taught a vigil last night to honor the 18 year old millersville freshman. police found marl karlie hall dead. an argument with her boyfriend turned fist co, authorities charge gregorio with homicide in connection with her death. still ahead this morning scare on septa burglar not -- platform, the latest on the search for her attacker. woman survives frightening ordeal. carjack at gunpoint in the middle of a wild police chase. hear what was going through her mind when a man pulled a gun on her. >> and leave a little extra

live for us at the cbs-3 mobile weather lab hi, justin. >> that's right, we headed down south into delaware, actually at the christianna mall right now packing -- parking lot. looks like the parking lot for the most part is pretty good temperature below freezing, this hour currently sitting at 27 degrees, but it is the sidewalks, we do have to be careful with, again right now, no precipitation where we are currently, here in new castle county, but little farther south, we check it out, still some left over light freezing rain, but i want to show you outside right now. crews out here at the mall that will be key this morning heavy dose of salt on the area sidewalks, and it is needed because there is a glaze of ice, but the good news is the sidewalks right now here, or parking lot; in good shape. so we talk about what's expected this morning on the roads, going to the weather graphic for the morning commute. scattered light freezing drizzle, new castle county, delaware, southern new jersey,

>> let's get right over to katie for the latest on this forecast, good morning. >> guys, generally much quieter forecast, just what's left behind, that may ends up leading to the problems for thus morning. but, we are still finding a little bit of precipitation out there, and in a couple of choice counties, in our area. so, we start things off by taking you out to a live neighborhood network camera. where as we look here live, out at the boardwalk plaza look at the sheen on the board. it has been lightly drizzling but it is freezing on contact. so that's just a sheet of ice out there on the boardwalk right now so, avenue feeling we won't see too many people out there for their morning walk here this morning and we would advise that, because, it is definitely going to be a slick walk or jog or whatever you plan to do out there here today. and really anywhere, your fair game for. that will soap, here on storm scan again, you can still see that there is a little bit of lingering precipitation, but generally over for all every southeastern pa. but even though it is over, we still got
