our neighbors are feeling here across portions of new england. temperatures are off to a coal start. the don't get me wrong. even though we will see more chill with the days ahead we are off to a cold start. single digits and teens and it does feel colder with just the most modest breeze but as the day progresses we will get you to flirt with the the 30-degree mark in the shore points we are talking lower 30's as well. we will start off with sun and included build in but we are seeing snow showers moving in later today toward night fall but i do expect much if any accumulation out of them. more than anything they just add to the wintry atmosphere out there. >> isn't it magical. >> yes. >> isn't it. >> i saw that boston total and my facial reaction was like... it could be worse. the it could be worse. good morning, out and about right new we are not seeing any major problems on the majors but traveling in the neighborhoods specifically the northeast we have a situation on our hand.

we had an earlier house fire that has been extinguished. this is on torresdale and levick. some streets affected by this are obviously torresdale and obviously levick but robbins because of closure points as they tend to this activity. we have an ambulance on the scene, fire engines and such. take a look at the roadway. notice some black ice out there, if you are traveling not only throughout the neighborhood but on the majors back isis still a problem for us, you just want to be careful and practice some more caution, as you commute. we will continue to keep you updatedded on that traveling in and around this area devereaux is your best alternate at this time and hopefully they will get that cleared out soon. in major problems for pennsylvania mass transit erika. >> vittoria, thank you. more on our breaking news we are following in the mt. airy section of philadelphia a double scabbing has left one person dead and police searching for the attacker. justin, good morning. >> reporter: good morning, erika. we have learned new information about the victim in this case. we know they have both new york addresses and tied to the philadelphia area at this time are in the clear. the just behind us here the scene where police say all this happened this morning. the the shea bar and grill, that stabbing taking place there outside at 2:30 this morning. witnesses tell police an altercation began between those two men and a third man inside of that bar and grill. the suspect is a man with the full beard they say last seen wearing a black and gray jacket. he had a full beard. their fight would spill outside where that stabbing took place and was witnessed by people in the area witnesses came together, rushed those two victims to einstein medical center where that 27 year-old man is fighting for his life's that 29 year-old man he passed away here on the scene. police continued their investigation and they say they have some help from cameras above take a listen.

>> that bar also has cameras. so we're fortunate that there is several cameras on both side of the street as well as city of philadelphia a police cameras very close proximity to where the crime scene is. we are in the process right new trying to get photos from these businesses so we can start viewing these recording recordings. >> reporter: back out here live it just so happens that one of the cameras is near the bar and grill a short distance away. also several cameras from businesses in the area police believe they won't be a able to find video evidence of what happened here, they also think that perhaps this suspect and these victims know each other somehow. between that and witness account they hope to have the story together and find this man very soon. a thin man with a full beard, last seen wearing a black and gray jacket. he got away police say in a gray color buick le saber.

live from mt. airy justin finch, for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". also new this morning fire tears through an apartment and bar in northeast philadelphia the call came in just after 2:30 for a fire on the corner of levick street and torresdale avenue. that fire began in an apartment above harrison's hide out bar. flames then spread down to the bar one person is in the hospital. there is no word on the extent of their injuries. ukee in. there is a new danger after a fire in west philadelphia department of licenses and inspections is very worried about what is left of that building may collapse. demolish the building or the city will. neighbors hope that happens sooner or later. >> folks walk around here trying to get to the el public transportation. the concern, that they will slip and fall and if that comes down, oh, yeah that is why debris and whole lot of other issues. >> reporter: now city is giving this owner a chance to demolish the building on that owner's on behalf now if that doesn't happen, immediately l and i says the city will step in and demolish in ten days. if is there a need before then the city will step in sooner. it is all caught on camera in middletown, new jersey. emergency crews pulled a 14 year-old girl from the icy waters of sandy hook bay. first responders also rescued the teen's mother and sister. authorities say the the teen walked out on a pipe that extend in the water and then fell in. it is not exactly clear how the other two ended up trapped on the jetty in the bay but rescuers worked to make sure that all a three made it back to shore safely. that teen was treated for possible hypotheria. katie, getting in the water at a time like this with temperatures is so dangerous. >> it is,es specially if you

breaking news right now a bar is surrounded by crime scene tape after a deadly stabbing. now police are searching for th killer. now this happened around 3:00 in philadelphia's mt. airy neighborhood. good morning, "eyewitness news" reporter justin finch is at the scene with more justin? >> reporter: erika and ukee two victims in this case, both men, 129, 127 that 29 year-old has died the 27 year-old is fighting for his life, both were stabbed here outside of the shea bar and grill here. this is on stenton avenue near johnson street right here. they are both shot in the torso several times authorities say right outside the front door. let's take you from video from earlier this morning. the police say an argument began inside between those two men and a suspect here. that argument spilled outside and turned violent. that is when both of those m
