"eyewitness news" reporter justin finch joins us from police headquarters with the latest on this investigation justin. >> reporter: ukee, good morning. police tell us they are gaining ground slowly in this case. they do have surveillance video and witness accounts that they hepp will bring them soon closer to the suspect in this case.

this all went down overnight yesterday at 2:30 this morning the case then taking a turn with rapper nicki minaj tweet that had two of her road crew were stabbed in the bar fight that night. they were in town she says for a tour set up. they had been here only for two days. she identified the deceased victim of devon picket age 29, the second man she calls eric is now recovering at einstein medical center. now police say that the the two men were stabbed after an argument outside of che bar and grill on stenton avenue near johnson street. the both men stabbed several times in their torso area we are told. we spoke to a business owner who is just a few feet from che and he tells us that this has him very shaken up. lets take a listen. >> i was shock. shocked. this never happened around here before never. fifty years i have been in business, never came across something like this. and as you might imagine, this morning, with the nicki minaj relationship here, this

case, taking on a a lot more precedence in the philadelphia a area. the suspects we necessity is a man with a thin build, a full beard, last seen wearing a black or gray jacket and fleeing that scene in an unknown direction in a gray buick le saber. is there a reward for information and an arrest and conviction of the suspect. that will be a $20,000 reward. we are live at police headquarters i'm justin finch, for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". also new developments in the deadly car crash involving bruce jenner. according to the ap, unreleased rid ohio from a passing bus shows jenner rear evening two cars. this animation created by 3-d artists and a mechanical engineer recreates that accident. the driver of the white car, that hit the hummer died. the crash happened friday, february 7th in malibu california. jenner passed a field sobriety test at the scene. happening today, a hearing for a man accused of raping at least two women in penny

pack park. police say robert pay len attacked one woman in 2010 and another in 2011. palin was charged late last year after being arrested for sexual assault in wisconsin. they linked his dna to the penny pack parka tax. palin is suspect in the third rape but at lending victim died before police could file charges. the the fate of the old revel casino in atlantic city could be backup in the air today. bankruptcy judge is expect to decide if she will let revel terminate a deal to sell the building for 95 million-dollar to the florida developer. the casino owners argued glenn straub missed the deadline to close the deal. straub says he will still will be negotiating with revel to salvage that sale. in the end, four people were's red ted last night as src approved five of the 39 charter school applications.

"eyewitness news" was there at midnight as the parade took place through the streets. this years is the year of the sheep or the goat. >> all that cool stuff. happening today candidates for mayor of philadelphia are squaring off. philadelphia's first mayoral forum is taking place this morning. it will be held at the philadelphia business and technology center from 8:30 to 10:30 this morning. that event is hosted by the business association of west park side. the philadelphia district attorney is challenging governor tom wolf's moratorium on the death penalty. it williams filed a lawsuit with the pennsylvania supreme court. williams says governor governor wolf made last week is unconstitutional and it stopped the authority of the legislature, court and pardons board. governor says the moratorium will stay in place until he reviews a full report on the capitol punishment in the

around that for better part of the morning. you need to be ready for that. wind chills are not in effect yesterday but they take effect this evening for this entire region. all of us included here as well as in the far northeastern portion of pennsylvania and central pennsylvania and that is as the wind gets cranking even more. it may be breezy new but it will get worse. the 19 degrees is our expect high. we will see flurries around here later today in the wake of the system moving through and then, tonight skies clear we are going to challenge our record low 1 degree the expected low and again that will come close to making it a brand new record. i am lar scenario saturday morning but by this point our new storm is brewing. we will hit 32 degrees. we will see snow moving in the later in the nighttime. overnight temperatures actually climb. that means a precipitation turns over to rain. the it might freeze on contact initially sunday morning but sunday chilly, i'll give thaw but milder day by comparison and just a rainy day, ukee, over to you. >> what a giant one i saw.

good morning vittoria. >> good morning everyone. is there not much to talk b beautiful out there great way to start your morning. would i say maybe if you are not getting to the majors in the next ten or 15 minutes you will be all right. usually rush hour does in the go into play until 6:15 or so-so we have sometime. traveling on the 42 freeway in delays southbound, northbound moving well. traveling elsewhere in new jersey 55 maybe traveling 73, 38 up and over area bridges, it is very quiet. taking a look at the blue route 476 looking great. no matter whether you are traveling ridge pike, mid county tolls, schuylkill i-95, and that is just how we like it. we have a water main break the last time i reported this in bucks county but i was looking over to the left of me or to the right of me but this is actually in new jersey,

pardon myself for that. lawrenceville in this section of the new jersey on route one southbound at lake drive we are dealing with the water main break. you want to be careful in that area with these temperatures. be careful of freezing water in that area and ice. would i tried to avoid it at all cost have the traveling in new jersey 295 northbound at black horse pike we have a off ramp block as a result of construction. this is ongoing until 5:00 a.m. we are dealing with the close another of 52nd between locust and spruce because of that ice structured building that looks like it is out of the scene of frozen. because of that, the the 52 busies detoured. it is amazing what nature can do isn't it. >> it is so true. the it doesn't look like we will have a a chance to see that melt away, anytime soon. as we approach the upcoming weekend that will change but we have a couple really cold days to get through before that can happen. for now at least storm scan three is quiet. we will eventually see our wind shift more northwesterly and pick up more than it is currently blowing. the it is breezy outside right

freezing right now you walk outside. >> it is below freezing every where. that is at least what it reads on the thermometer but when the wind blows of course, it feels worse and it will certainly feel that much worse anytime it does blow. today, tonight tomorrow, tomorrow night even into the saturday morning. so this is going to be a very persistent wind that we are contending with storm scan three at least that is quiet. we have that going for us. even that will in the stay completely empty though throughout the day, you can tell that there is some snow retreating at this point but what happens is as the wind shifts and turns more northwesterly we will end up with more of a northwesterly wind flow and that will allow to us end up with a couple flurries as the day progresses here. wind driven flurries. arctic blast yet another one here, we were off to a cold start here yesterday as it was but now we are stuck back in the teens and with wind gust that is can see easily 30 miles an hour. it doesn't
