"eyewitness news" reporter nicole brewer joins us from the studio with more on what this could mean for the celebrity. nicole. >> reporter: this morning we are seeing new video of the accident involving reality tv star bruce jenner. it is an animation video. we are hearing from law enforcement official whose say the former olympian actually start that had chain reaction crash when his suv rear ended two other cars pushing a lex news on coming traffic.

lets look at that video. this is the scene along pacific companies highway after a 69 year-old woman was kill. initial reports from the scene had jenner at the tail end of the crash with the lexus rear ending the prius. well you see animation shows what law enforcement officials confirm that jenner who was hauling a off road vehicle on his trailer, behind a cadillac escalade, steered to avoid cars for a traffic light and then struck the lexus and then that prius. at this point the cause of the crash is still being investigated by los angeles sheriff's department which will decide if criminal charges should follow. they have obtained cell phone record to determine if any of the drivers were distract, jenner's publicist says he was not texting and he is fully cooperating with investigators. officials also add that jenner was being followed by paparazzi but they did in the play a role in that crash erika. lets see what happens, nicole, thank you. 5:43. lets get traffic and weather together on the three's. we need that extra thick coat
