a gas explosion, rockean ocean county, new jersey neighborhood. >> blast destroys a home and injuries 15 people on the ground, good morning, "eyewitness news" reporter jan carabao joins us from scene with the very latest on is what happening now, jan good morning. >> reporter: ukee and erika good morning. gas crews have remained on the scene here overnight working around the clock trying to get service restored to this area. we have reached out to the gas company a number of times this morning. we have yet to hear a the status report from them but at last check police down there who are blocking oak avenue have since left and switched out, so we hope that this means progress is being made. meantime the mayor of stafford township tells us that the explosion yesterday was caused by a 34 year-old main gas line. fifteen people were injured two critically in the explosion but all are expected to recover and that is amazing
