>> it is the same neighborhood. we all, i feel very safe walking around here most of the time. i think it is unusual. >> reporter: police say this surveillance video he shows four persons of interest wanted for a february 20th beating and robbery of the 13 year-old boy near 22nd and fairmount. in every robbery police say a group of between two and four suspects, steals iphones and other items from victims. >> i do understand that at least one of the instant tenth the kids slashed some type of a weapon yeah, and the possibility of an incident, accident occurring. >> reporter: now detective here at central are intensifying their search, hoping they can come up with surveillance video of this latest attack around 2:30 this afternoon. meanwhile they say because five of these six attacks have happened in broad daylight in the afternoon they are urging neighbors to use extra caution be aware of your surroundings

madam takes the stand, she testified in her own defense, during her murder trial late today, prosecutors say that she performed a buttocks enhancement procedure that caused the death of a tourist. "eyewitness news" reporter matt rivers was in the courtroom live in center city with the details matt? >> reporter: jessica, short of being rare it is certainly not common for defendants to take the stand in their own defense but that is exactly what page victoria winslow did as she and her lawyer mounted their defense against a third degree murder charge. the 45 year-old winslow is charged for her role in the 2011 death of a 20 year-old british dancer, claudia aderotimi. the young woman had traveled here to get silicone butt injections, something winslow said she had performed thousands of times despite not having a medical licenses. aderotimi died of complications from the injection and winslow was subsequently charged in the death. thursday she took the stand in her own defense arguing that she never intended to do harm

and thought the procedures that she was performing was safe. she told the court that she received training from a doctor in thailand and he assured her it was safe. she said that she feels great remorse over the death but argued she should not be held criminally liable. the on the stand she said quote my motto was i want to help people. it wasn't about the money. i made money but i just wanted to help people. she went on to say that when i heard that claudia died it was the worst day of my life. claudia was a great girl. i never meant for anything pad to happen to her. now prosecutors alleged that winslow actually falsely presented herself as a nurse practitioner to her clients and that she was full a wear of the dangers involve in these procedures. if she's convicted, winslow faces up to 40 years, in prison. we are live from center city, matt rivers for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". septa's regional rail in montgomery county has resumed operations, hours after down wires brought the the train to

a halt. this happened shortly after 8:00 this morning on the warminster line in roselyn. the train was on its way to center city when power lines came crashing down. the the railcar lost power leaving about 500 passengers stuck. >> it felt like we ran over something, so hopefully everybody was okay, that was the most important thing. once we found out and alerted by septa engineers that everything was good, it was okay. >> stranded passengers got on another train and arrived in center city more than two hours behind schedule. what caused those wires to come down remains under investigation. it was a violent night in the city of philadelphia, police busy at multiple crime scenes. let's begin in grays ferry where two men were shot multiple times and killed in the 2700 block of latona street around 2:00 a a.m. police recovered a gun on one of the victims but was not used in that shooting. they continue their investigation. another homicide was reported shortly after 11:30 last night, this happened on 2900 block of west west more

verbally abusive and i called 911. >> reporter: with philadelphia's new mission with as many people walking and running through the the city, including their bike share program to be introduced in april the delaware river port authority thought it was time for an upgrade. they have added ten new emergency call boxes and upgraded their surveillance standard replacing old camera with 25 brand new ones. drpa c. eo john hanson told "eyewitness news" that the the call boxes a and state of the art cameras will provide our customers and local community with additional safe guard. the port authority says they evenly distributed these new call boxes and security cameras across ben franklin bridge half on one side the other half on the other. representatives with the philadelphia bike coalition say that the upgrades including a new ramp on the new jersey side are beyond appreciated. they have been asking for them for a while. >> if you install these kind of safety measures that helps

ten and bismarck only 9 degrees. on storm scan three you saw a few flurries. other than that during the day tomorrow it will be very sunny, very quiet with temperatures in the the 20's. staying cold for saturday, is that bitter high pressure system builds in and then our next weather system comes from the the south the west in the form of the warm front. we will be seeing a wintry mix, sunday night into monday. this area of low pressure tracks toward the north and east. could see a little bit of rain mixing with some snow. we will update you on that situation, coming up over the next couple of days as we get closer. overnight cloud and a few flurries, it will be cold with a low of 18 degrees, during the day tomorrow uneventful take partly sunny, a high of 29. now, by saturday morning it is a different story. we are looking at near record cold again information case continuing a low of ten. record nine setback in 1976. morning wind chill will only sit at one and that is the end of the month of february.
