winter wet they are week. take a look at an icy ocean. the these eyewitness photos were taken in dewey beach, delaware, a rare sight to see chunks of ice washing a shore there. it does make summer people far away, that is for sure. look at is what in store for tomorrow. another round of snow and ice. we are tracking this mid week mess. we get a break today. start all over tomorrow. i'm jessica dean. i'm chris may. winter weather advisory initial to effect tomorrow for most of the the area lets get out to meteorologist kathy orr with those stormy details now, kathy. >> the cold is already coming in the forecast tonight after a brilliant day with plenty of sunshine. here we go again with more snow sleet and freezing rain. take a look though the high temperature today did make to it 40 degrees in philadelphia, it is closer to that average high of 48, we will get there sooner or later but that winter weather advisory will go into effect. we have rain to the south, that is warm part of the storm but out to the west through

horrific swimming extent in the dominican republic. they were on vacation there victims all have ties to our area. "eyewitness news" reporter todd quinones spoke with the devastated family. >> reporter: four family members including newlyweds all of them dead, they all drowned while vacationing in the dominican republic with about a dozen family members they died in the waters off mccall beach on the east end of the island. >> really heart breaking. >> reporter: from their home in northeast philadelphia, patel family gathered to remember their loved ones who died sunday afternoon. >> they were beautiful. i loved them. >> reporter: dad, sam patel broke down in tears. he was holding a picture of his recently married son kush and his daughter in law kajal. >> i loved my son. >> reporter: their cousins standing she hans againg and jay patel who were swept away by heavy rip current as they tried to save the couple who were struggling. this picture was posted on twitter showing aftermath, according to dominican newspaper, the group was in an area prohibit todd swimmers

jersey. the a man inside was chris thecally injured this happened on the 300 block of cooks lane in point pleasant beach. the reporter christine sloan from our sister station in new york says turning on the light switch sparked this explosion. >> reporter: the who us in point pleasant beach, new jersey leveled after the gas explosion. everything inside and in sight scattered throughout the yard. >> it just happens that fast you this can lose everything in a moment. >> reporter: this is what it looked like seconds after the explosion, flames shooting through the roof of the home on cook lane. >> me and my wife were in bed and then whole house shook like an explosion like a bomb going off. >> reporter: brian kiddianne his wife shot this video after rushing to help their neighbor curt wagner. investigators say wagner woke up to the smell of gas inside his bunk glow next to his land lord's home. he switched on the bathroom light and the house blew up. >> the guy living in the house got blown out of the front door and rolling on the lawn next door. >> he was just screaming help help.

>> reporter: wagner in stable condition with burns on his body. friend say the 47 year-old just got back from a fishing trip. >> he had been out of work for a little while. he why us got a chance to make a couple trips to maine and get a couple paychecks and then this happens. >> reporter: gas company officials check their lines outside and they see no problem so they believe the issue was either inside the bunk glow or with the line that connects to the main house. >> our focus is on the customer side of the facilities. >> reporter: investigators focusing on a heater, wagner's landlord swept through the explosion. her house was in the damaged. just last week a police dash cam captured another house explosion. officials say immediately get out of your house if you smell gas. ocean county prosecutor's office continues to investigate to determine the exact cause of the the explosion. in point pleasant beach, new jersey christine sloan for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". i don't understand... >> philadelphia police

searching for a roner tonight who stabbed a business owner in the faceuat a store in holmesberg. this is a resident in that area it happened around 11:00 at we buy gold on the 8,000 block of frankford avenue. police say that the robber is a hispanic man, about 5 feet five, wearing a black jacket, black tie, and blue shirt. in word now on the victim's condition. well philadelphia's international airport today tsa agents find a gun in the carry on luggage of the 34 year-old man. according to the department of home land security agents found that unloaded 45 caliber glock 30 on saturday, and passenger was trying to board a flight to miami. we're told he was taken into custody. well, developing right now a peeping tom is busted. police say he took photos and videos of the scores of woman and posted them on on line pornography sites. what is more, the man allegedly struck in a variety of locations including store dressing rooms.

"eyewitness news" reporter walt hunter tells us radnor police call this the largest invation of privacy case they have ever seen. >> sir, do you have any comment on the charges. suspect shawn moses said nothing in front of our camera when we captured this exclusive video shortly after his arrest in the penn valley home but police say he used three of his phone cameras to capture these videos of women trying on clothes in two stores at the king of prussia mall and still other videos of sex partners later posting his peeping tom pictures on porn web sites. the his fans are repose continuing these same videos as a tribute to mr. moses because he had a fan club. >> reporter: police say this women spotted moses sloan making an obscene gestures and a second woman took a own picture of his camera. police releasing videos hoping to learn the women's identities, mess of whom had in idea their privacy was

on the way to the scene and we will update you when we learn more. fbi has returned three stolen, 110 million year-old fossils from brazil to the country's government. bureau showed off fossils in wilmington. these anxious fish were first unearthed in the north east region of brazil and at some point they were stolen and thieves tried to sell them on the black market. one of them was praised at $700,000 on line. the the fbi it says arrests are possible but so far they don't have anyone in custody. bureau has in the revealed how those fos also got to wilmington. well, an alarming study on teenage dating and violence, a cdc study says 21 percent of high school girls have been physically or sexually assaulted by someone they have dated, a figure twice as high as previously estimated. 10 percent of all high school boys also report having been abused by a dating partner. studies authors say teens who have experienced dating violence had a much higher

problem. rain continuing into the day on wednesday, even though we have some warm southerly wind. as far as tomorrow is concern the big problem is going to be icing. that is why we have advisory. snow accumulation less than a inch. best chance of seeing accumulation of ice will be to the north and west of the city of philadelphia here's the time line twin one and 3:00 snow and sleet arrives. after 8:00 o'clock mix changes over to rain. we have rain all take wednesday on and off and after midnight into thursday morning that rain changes over to snow. that is our next problem. so wednesday morning, you see rain on and off with mild temperatures. but then wednesday night it changes over to snow and we could be seeing heavy snow along i-95 corridor on our northern and western suburbs and to the south and east right through the morning. this sold be significant. coming up tonight on 11:00 we will talk about those potential snow amounts. overnight mainly clear watch for ice as temperatures plunge to 20 degrees in the the city
