10:00 o'clock, with the police department, they had fire and smoke coming through the front door. town hall is right across the street, my kids have had their birthday parties there ya, it is a terrible lost for our community. >> now, this is what the inn looked like when firefighters arrive. look at the smoke and the flames. hunterdon fire and ems took these photos. they place that fire under control just about a half hour ago. no one was hurt. as you can see from the flames historic sergeant's ville in looks like total locals. what a horrible lost after landmark. >> no question. >> right now 5:30. a camden family is looking for a place to live after their house partially collapse collapses. >> good morning, everyone, for years they feared this could happen. "eyewitness news" reporter jan carabeo at the scene right now to tell you more about it, jan? >> reporter: ukee, erika good morning. more on their efforts to how they try to get this home

fixed up in just a minute. but you can see, really is surprising that noun was was injured here this morning pretty much nothing is left, of the front side of this building, except for the front door, all of the bricks, and other rubble, lay on the gown, in front here. there were four people inside this building when it came crashing down, partially including a little girl. now, this partial collapse happened here in the 400 block of line street in camden around 11:30 sunday night. fire and ems quickly responded, the family, again was able to escape unharmed. we spoke to a man who lived here. he says his father, mother, sister and neice, were all at home when the wall came crashing down, he says, they heard a whoosh then the next thing they new they were looking at the street. now, he tells us us the problem here goes back more than decade to when there was fire next-door. that home had to be demolished. he tells us the demo weakened his home. he says he's been trying to get help to fix it, but his family just doesn't have the resources. take a listen. >> started buckling out.

that's when we was trying to get the city to do what they can. they actually calm out put barricade around it, and gave my parents in the the 26 to repair it or demo it. >> yes. >> so, you know, $40,000 that we don't have would have fixed it, and the city, if they would have just re faced it up when they demoed the house, it would have been no problem. >> now, the red cross is assisting this morning. meantime, police are still securing this scene. and no official word on the cause of the collapse just yet. but again we've had that freeze-thawing cycle weather wise so don't know that exactly played a part. we will be following one that late today. meantime see just how much destruction was left behind, really is surprising that that no one here was seriously injured. reporting live in camden, jan carabeo, cbs-3, "eyewitness news". >> thank you we'll get back to you shortly. police identified a man found dead in a bullet ridden van in

new castle delaware as 32 year old shelton johns of wilmington unidentified woman was also found shot inside that van off of route 13, early yesterday morning. she was hospitalized, in stable condition. now, police say they located a second vehicle, not far away from the crime scene and are working to determine if the two are connected. >> they are attempt to go locate the owner that far vehicle, and conduct interviews of him and of any witness that is may have seen what had occurred. but right now, we can't say that was actually a suspect vehicle. >> anyone with information related to this incident is urged to call the delaware state police. >> right now 5:33, we want to check in with kate, get our forecast, oh what a change from yesterday? >> big change this morning, at least, although this afternoon will look a lot like yesterday afternoon did the sun comes out, temperatures will warm up again, and really by later this afternoon going to be like wait, we start dollars the day with a winter weather advisory. that's crazy talk it, will turn out so nice today. we do have winter weather advisory to talk about this morning, want to show you time

lapse from yesterday. >> this one from the lower merion high school, ardmore as i set this into motion, you can watch how the sun was out all day and the snow just began to melt. you can see it eroding on the field, eroding under the trees there, as all that warmer air start today move on n and much nicer conditions outside yesterday afternoon than we've seen in quite some time. look at storm scan3 again showing some freezing rain, drizzle, north of the city for the most part at the moment. you can see little bit of pink mix in the there. there could be little sleet. temperatures are very slows to freezing not widespread ice event, but it is bringing the chance for some spotty black ice, through the course of the morning, that winter weather advisory you see there shaded in purple, goes until 9:00 a.m. so if you are from the city on north, you leave your house this morning, even take a look at the car they are mom term, not the most accurate, but will give you good idea where you stand. temperatures near the lehigh valley below freezing right now, if your temperature is below freezing and you see rain falling expect that anything that looks wet could be icy this morning. but that will move out by midday. and then we have got much nicer weather through the

afternoon, in fact, clouds break by 9:00 a.m. at 42 degrees, noon up to 49 mixture of sunshine, clouds, at 3:00 p.m. 53 degrees, yesterday we got to 50. so today turning out even little bit warmer than yesterday. now, we check in with jessica see if this ice is impacting any of the roads out there. good morning jess. >> thanks, katie. actually we head out to 422 right around trooper road. you can see snow covered side streets right here. you can see on the grass, a lot of snow, hopefully that will be gone by little later today after we get this 53 degrees weather change. but you can see the roads are actually doing just fine. there is no real ice or slippery spots right there in that area, in particular, and not whole lot of volume really squeezing through if you are headed east or westbound. over on 95, right around cottman avenue, no problems moving through the work zone, if you are headed southbound, into center city, no problems. starting to gather in just a little bit volume moving just fine. billing collapse though out in camden, new jersey, line street is closed, with activity on the scene there. that's actually closed at fourth streetment take pine or

the casino gets better offer. 250 potential buyers have expressed interest in the revel. and 46 have toured the property in the past 16 months. >> today president obama will announce new program to train more americans in high tech jobs. he'll outline the plane during speech in washington. it is expected to be the biggest federal boost to non-college skills training in history. twenty cities will participate. the white house wants to place 50,000 graduates into high-paying jobs, such as software development and cyber security. apple is expected to unveil more details about it apple watch this morning. its apple's first all new product line since ipad almost five years ago. the apple watch smart watch will sell for $349. it is made to run its own apps, works like mini ipod. apple watch pairs with an iphone five or six. wall street took a beating after friday's positive jobs report. the dow fell 278 points, the nasdaq down 55.

>> a live picture from hunterdon county, no injuries, but a lot of damage, after a four alarm fire at the historic sergeants ville inn. the fire declared under control within the hour. so far no words on what sparked that fire. >> also, no injuries in this building collapse on live street in camden. residents say that building has been dangerous for years. four people including a two year old are in the care of the red cross. and, autopsy expected today for 13 year old cayman naib eighth grader found dead yesterday on his family's

property in delaware county. eighth grader from shipley school went missing last week. one important thing missing in alaska for today's start of the famous iodid rot dog sled race, there is not enough snow. they had to truck in snow for the race over the weekends. they did get some snow yesterday, but the race course moved to colder air. last five weeks, only 2 inches of snow have fallen in fair banks. that's less than we've seen here in the philly area and around the region. wow, traffic and weather together. here's kate. >> thank you ukee, let's look at the storm scan3 picture right now showing some freezing rain and drizzle off to our north for the most part right now. but we do have winter weather advisory for the city. you can see mainly limited to areas generally off to our north, including the lehigh valley portions of berks count my portions of new jersey where temperatures are still below freezing at this hour. if you are below freezing, take a look at the car thermometer when you get out on the road this morning because anything that looks

wet, could be icy. in fact, let's take a look at the temperatures. checking in with eyewitness weather watchers, see what they are reporting, our best way to have eyes on the ground so to speak. notice we are seeing some numbers below freezing, bill's house in broomall, 31 degrees right now just few clouds, his comment the temp is at the freezing point, watch for any runoff that could be frozen. bill has a point. and in addition to the light rain falling any of the snow melt could also freeze on surfaces this morning. 34 degrees as we head across the border, into new jersey, cherry hill, we check in with lynn springer, reporting mostly cloudy conditions, and saying looking forward to another warm day. we have another mild day on the way. one more report here, this one nice and cold. this is mark herman in chatsworth, new jersey reporting 29 degrees, at the moment. so certainly anything that falls in that area could fall and freeze on contact. but with high pressure overhead, after this light rain moves out this morning temperatures warm up very quickly, we get to highs in the 50's again today. and for tomorrow, 40's, mostly cloudy, we will see this rain start to lift in in the

will be nice, mild, at 50 degrees. we'll keep close eye of course on that forecast. now, we check in on the roads with jessica. good morning. >> good morning everyone, 5:46. going outside checking out how the schuylkill looks. it is doing just fine so far. roadways relatively dry. so in the westbound lanes headed into the king of prussia area, you can see moving along just fine, eastbound right behind there looking great as well. over on the ben franklin bridge, things looking good, as well, as definitely some good news for this time of morning. so headed westbound all lanes open headed into the city. and no problems headed into new jersey, if you are headed eastbound. but, speaking of new jersey over in camden, line street closed due to partial building collapse at fourth street. you want to take pine or spruce to get on by. elsewhere in new jersey, mt. laurel overturned vehicle and hainesport-mt. laurel road. accident investigation as well between arc road and fostertown road. take union mill or elbow lane to get on by that, as well for the time being. out in jenkintown, another crash at greenwood avenue and old york road. and for mass transit definately good thing, for

fire fighters california have to help out a dog after he got stuck in a tight spot. spot got stuck between two storage containers on an elementary school playground. firefighters used the jaws of life to move the containers about 6 inches, all he needed. spike was unable to walk out on his own, with a little encouragement from a budd how we see in just a moment. goes in there to get himment besides being shaken up, told he's doing just fine, there he is, oh there goes the tail. >> that tail was going to town. >> thanks, guys. poor dog having fun playing
