"eyewitness news" reporter jan carabao joins us with the update the on the repairs. how is it going, jan good morning. >> good morning, good news. work here on the scene is wrapping up as we speak. these water crews made quick work to get this tied up before the morning commute. crew is here are fill in that trench and smoothing it out right here live on the scene. they have been working here hard overnight. after all, it is a fairly busy road off main street in lansdale. at one point police estimated this work could continue through morning commute tying up traffic but again crews are making great progress and these traffic concerns won't be a problem after all. now, this 6-inch what the are main break happened here

around midnight on cannon avenue in lansdale montgomery county. north penn water third has been working throughout the night and as they work cannon avenue between main and second street is still closed. workers replaced pipe just about an hour ago and they are filling out that filling in that trench and smoothing it out and once this is complete the the road will reopen. crew is here hoped this would happen by 6:00 a.m. and this will come very close to that deadline. back out here live on the scene crews are putting finishing touches on the work here. this road will reopen within the hour, maybe less and good news, in all of this as well, besides getting this road reopened by morning rush is that in one lost water in this area either. we will keep you up to date but work is finishing up here, live from lapse dale, jan carabao cbs-3 "eyewitness news". fire engulfs a chinese take out restaurant and fire fighters arrived to the 2700 block of north broad street shortly after midnight.

officer robert wilson in the west philadelphia neighborhood where he lived. "eyewitness news" reporter justin finch joins us outside game stop in north philadelphia where officer wilson was shot. justin, good morning. >> reporter: erika, good morning. for past several days we have seen several outpourings of affection for officer robert wilson and his family. he was 30 years old. eight year vet of the ppd. we now that game subpoena has left his family a sizable donation, amount not reveal. we are toll they are still very much in awe of his bravery and sacrifice at this stove store here one week ago today. >> we appreciate the sacrifice. >> reporter: a symbolic show of thanks from neighbors at 54th and locust streets neighborhood where slain officer robert wilson the third lived with his family. >> this man stepped up and to something excellent. >> reporter: last thursday afternoon wilson stopped at this game stop to pick up a
