usy place midday. mark messler a freshman had just left. police were converging. >> security at corner and turned around and lights on. my friend came out and said someone yelled 911, he has been stab. >> reporter: victim identified as a male in his 30's and vendor with the jack and jill ice cream company who went in the rest room to wash his hand when the stabbing occurred. >> he got taken out on the stretcher. he didn't look bad. it looked like up are right shoulder or arm. it did not look like he didn't seem particularly rushed though, but ambulance left here about five minutes with police car and lights trailing him to the hospital. >> reporter: had sal communications tells us that the injuries are non-life threatening, the victim is being treated at einstein hospital. mark and and helps friend dan, said text alerts came out quickly. >> i text my friend at 2:00 what happened. 2:06 i got at alert from lasalle from shelter in place. they let us know what was going object really fast. >> reporter: that order lasted for about 45 minutes. everything else was considered

secure here on campus. the once again let me review with you the description of the suspect, a white male, in mid 20's, medium build 5 feet nine, wearing a red jacket and a blue lasalle hoodie. there is surveillance video it is now being reviewed by the philadelphia police. reporting live from the campus of lasalle university, pat ciarrocchi cbs-3 "eyewitness news". >> pat, thank you. two philadelphia fire fighters were injured today when their ladder came in contact with live power lines. this happened on the 2400 block of west norris street the in north philadelphia "eyewitness news" reporter walt hunter is live at temple hospital with the latest walt. >> reporter: very anxious moments here at temple's emergency room just after ten this morning. the members of the lad core 14, top fire commanders relieved to know that the two injuries fire fighters did not suffer life threatening injuries after their metal ladder came in contact with an electrical wire. the protective gear of one injured philadelphia fire fighter, lay on the sidewalk

moments after he and a fellow member were jolted and burn by electricity. the as a lad their they were lowering after extinguishing a minor bedroom blaze touched an electrical line. >> it went from hold ago this lad tore drop down to the side of the body, and he just passed right out. >> reporter: most seriously injured of the two fire fighters both assigned to ladder company number 14, suffered third degree burns to his feet. >> they carried them across the street and laid them out and unputting on his uniform and all that and they started working on him vigorously. >> very frightening close call. i talk to both members and they said the same thing. >> reporter: as peco crews inspect wires after the incident, fire officials who rushed to the hospital a that it was fortunate, the extension ladder after touching the wire, did not stay in contact. but fell back against the house. because they say that wire carried a lot of electricity.

him try to hide murder of his wife erika crippen. david spunt is live in sicklerville with new information for us now david. >> reporter: police raided kyle crosby's parent's home here in january. tonight they say kyle's mother, joe crosby helped kyle conceal erika's body after he allegedly killed her. >> every day i wake up and i'm just like wondering where my sister is at. every day. >> reporter: hates been almost three months since she saw her older sister and best friend, erika. >> i want my family to finally rest so i can bury my sister and this can be over. i'm tired of it. >> reporter: family members said they last heard from erika on december 30th before she went out to dinner with her husband kyle crosby. she has been missing since and he has been behind bars, charged with killing her. police still cannot find a body and now kyle's 67 year-old mother is accused of tampering with evidence by destroying record. >> we always knew, we already knew, she had something to to with it.

>> reporter: burlington county detectives arrested jo crosby around 6:30 at her home in sicklerville. detectives transported her to a woman's prison in pemberton but she bailed out late this have afternoon. we stopped by this house and found this no trusting sign on the front door. >> i know we will find her. i know we are. the just because it has been too long. i don't think god can hurt us anymore. >> reporter: burlington county prosecutor's office would not elaborate on the kind of record jo cosby is accused of destroying. source with the prosecutor's office told me this is still a very active investigation. they are actively seeking tips on information leading to find out what happened to erika crippen. we are live in sicklerville david spunt for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". lets go to chopper three over the scene of the shooting in the brewerytown section of philadelphia today. this is 25900 block of inkster sol street, there were two people taking to temple hospital and another to hospital.

all are said to be in stable condition. you saw that gun on the ground. the the investigation into that shooting continues tonight. a gloucester county teacher faces charges tonight accused of photo graphing what prosecutors called student private areas while in school. police arrested 37 year-old adam may or of washington township on friday. he teaches english a at the gloucester county institute of technology and is behind bars right now on $300,000 bail. police are in the process of identifying all possible victims and contacting their families. an upper darby man is recovering from a gunshot wound after a neighbor shot him. no details on what started the sunday night dispute. police say victim was shot once in the arm. sus he can was arrested after a brief standoff with police and delco spot team members. temperatures are climbing outside but don't be fooled. the warm up will be brief. we might even see some snow later in the week. the just a messenger. >> thanks, chris.

it its finally starting to warp up. i will forget about this possibility of snow for a minute. finally starting to warm up after a win the their was at many times just bitterly cold. >> down side of that warm up of course, potholes. we have been talking about them for a while. there are bad ones out there. we are back on the pothole patrol tonight in the cbs-3 mobile weather lab. that is our justin drabick a meteorologist in, south philadelphia justin, are you managing to avoid those big potholes. >> reporter: we're trying, chris. i will take new to a good stretch that is causing problems. we're in the lab but it is no the raining/snowing but weather toys blame for these potholes. we got off of island avenue on to the merge on i-95 south and this is getting on by the airport and this is just a mess. i mean check this out. potholes in every lane, during the lane dividers. when you try to merge over.

that is what people do coming off the platt bridge you have to dodge these potholes everybody is jockeying for position. they are slowing down. i mean these are huge. this will mess up your suspension. you have to go slow and hopefully things can get repaired pretty soon. but again in, rain now but it was really last week even. so you can blame the warm, wet weather. dodging potholes, and road crews filling them it is a familiar obstacle these days. the this is city line avenue on philadelphia montgomery county line. portions of route one are completely least surfaced this week. crews have been fixing potholes for weeks and make gooding progress. and so just back over the weekend thanks to the rain. >> a lot of the potholes that have been fix following this snowstorm of march 5th, you know the cold patch material which is material that is used on hot asphalt and is available. it doesn't hold very well in the rain. with all of the heavy rain that came down saturday many hold that had been fix

last week nearly 80 degrees in raleigh-durham. eighty-two in atlanta we had a close to that warm air. we will go up a few degrees during the day tomorrow but nothing like what they are seeing toward the south. we will warm it up to the 60's, during the morning, by about 1:00 o'clock in the afternoon we will see this front approaching the wind are going to be picking up, gusting to about 30 miles an hour during the afternoon. temperatures will be falling. you will feel the change between noon and 5:00 p.m. when it is chilly. wednesday temperatures will be in the 40's. blustery day more win. we will settle it down for thursday with high temperatures in the the 40's. but all eyes on the southern system, an area of low pressure that is going to be moving off the mid-atlantic with rain and cold air to the north that will be creating some snow. we will watch this develop into a coastal low and there are many questions associated with friday but right now we have a chance of rain and snow, in the forecast. so as we look will ahead

i'm jessica dean with breaking news at 5:30. a man has been stabbed in the bathroom at lasalle university in philadelphia this happened

just before 2:00 this afternoon. he has been hospitalized and is now in stable condition. but the attacker remains on the loose. two fire fighters are in stable condition after their ladder hit power lines this happened after a fire in north philadelphia. both been identified as robert taylor a eugene colter from ladder company 14. they were shocked and suffered burns. and police in south jersey rest a mother of the murder suspect, and they say joe jo crosby helped try to high the murder of erika crippen, kate. and jessica, clouds have really tried to hang on. we have got hazy filtered sunshine out there this evening. it is nice and mild. we have a nice start to st. patrick's day tomorrow. nice and warm, day at least until noon and then everything comes down. it will be a chilly windy finish to the holiday. helped us on the after work bundle up, big difference there much colder pattern takes hold wednesday into friday. we will talk about that chance for snow in the forecast

robert durst a millionaire turn murder suspect, made a court appearance this morning after authorities arrested him in new orleans over the weekend. the police instituted a warrant on durst after he appeared to admit guilt during a documentary taping. correspondent danielle nottingham has the latest. >> reporter: handcuffed robert durst waved extradition in new orleans. infamous millionaire agreed to go to los angeles to face murder charges for the the death of his friend susan ber man 15 years ago. >> bob durst didn't kill susan berman. he is ready to end all of the rumor and speculation and have a trial. >> reporter: the the 71 year-old's arrest came a day before hbo aired the final up set of the jinks a documentary, about his wife, still wearing a microphone cursings in the microphone and makes a admission. >> i killed them all, of course. >> reporter: director andrew, said on cbs this morning, that he didn't realize what they
