of destruction and many resident who were displayed this morning are fearing that they will have have little will to nothing to return to when they are a allowed back home. wind fueled flames raged out of control for more than three hours tuesday evening at the rita grace manor apartments in northeast philadelphia fire created a path of destruction leaving about a 100 displaced residents fearing the worst. >> a lot of stuff still inside, i have kid animals and clothing. >> reporter: fire here in the 9100 block of academy road broke out just before 5:00. when crew as arrived they found flames in the building's utility room. those flames spread quickly. >> because fire had spread to the walls it extended to the third floor, and at that point we started evacuating all of the occupants out of the building. >> reporter: five people were taken the two hospital with minor injuries. meantime the crew battled flames, and taken to temporary shelter at lincoln high school. >> we want to mack hure they have what they need to get through the night. >> it is horrible, it is

terrible. i have never been through this before. i don't know how to react to it. >> reporter: many watched the inferno from across the street. >> you don't know what to feel, you don't know what to say. it the is just so sad. >> reporter: the fire commissioner goes on to say that out of the roughly 100 people who are displayed this morning, more than 50 of them had to stay at that temporary shelter overnight. meantime here on the scene the the investigation continues. we are being kept very far from the scene but we can just make out fire crews are looking around this scene with flashlights this morning. the the cause of the fire remains under i been investigation. we're reporting live from northeast philadelphia jan carabao for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". developing now three people are dead and four are hospitalized after an apparent drive by shooting in northern california. the the the shooting happened outside a corner store in stockton last night about 40 miles from sacramento. two women and a man were killed in that shooting, within died at the scene while the others tied at the
