drivers are wisely slowing it down out there. our team coverage continues with "eyewitness news" reporter diana rocco live along the schuylkill expressway diana? >> reporter: jessica, we are live along the schuylkill expressway just near city line avenue where it seems traffic has been a challenge tonight the for drivers just trying to get home. give you a live look at westbound lane here. heading out of the city tonight this is what you have to look forward to. you can see roadway is wet and drivers are dealing with a lot of slush. it has been a challenge. we did see a few disable vehicle, one accident on the the way out here which is a reminder to keep it slow. in fact a few minutes ago just along lincoln drive we did see a tree down near rittenhouse street. you can see traffic being diverted around that. so conditions very challenging, a lot of wet roadways tonight. in addition to your normal heavy volume. you can see just how slow people are moving. they are keeping it the that

door and found her dead this morning. investigators believe margaret molina was strangled, the 18 year-old also had head trauma. >> police responded inside 3109 heartville street. when they get inside the second floor bedroom they find margaret molina an 18 year-old female she was pronounced dead on the scene. >> reporter: to the shock of neighbors molina was found dead inside her kensington home. >> i still can't believe it. i just can't. >> reporter: according to police, her father became concern this morning. >> we have her father up tears we're speaking with him trying to find out who may have been in the house, who frequented the house. >> he had in the seen her in several hours, but her door was will be which was in the uncommon. >> reporter: investigators spent friday morning searching for possible evidence in the case. as they searched the home on the 3100 block of heartville street neighbors told cbs-3 that molina went to olney high

school and often seen hanging out with her boyfriend. >> she was preparing for her prom her prom in may. she was talking to me about her prom and she was planning after graduation. >> reporter: spokesperson with einstein medical center confirms that molina had been a volunteer at the hospital since 2013. and as of right now no arrests have been made investigators are looking into who else has had access inside that home. reporting live from police headquarters in center city todd quinones for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". an alleged teenage gunman meantime in the murder of an overbrook man is behind bars tonight. fifteen year-old tafind hamilton surrendered to police overnight. police say hamilton and to other teens decided to rob someone after a basketball game. they encountered 51 year-old james stohlman out walking his dog at the time. police believe hamilton pulled the trigger. his aunt spoke exclusively with "eyewitness news".

back on "eyewitness news" we have an eye on the storm tonight, thinks a live look from the cbs-3 mobile weather lab, driving on route 38 in mount laurel, new jersey, we know the road are wet slushy and some spots are slick owe if you are heading out tonight just take it slow meteorologist kathy orr will have your complete forecast it has a warm up just ahead coming up in just a couple minutes. new at 6:00 the struggle to rebuild after sandy it is over for several families displaced by the hurricane in cape may county. they are finally coming home. thanks to the catholic charities disaster program and united methodist church a future with home. kenny thompson's living room had water up to his chest during sandy and he became homeless. >> i ride back and forth lots of times. i go get some coffee. >> reporter: from the outside homes damaged from sandy look okay but inside there can be severe rot to walls floors, things that overtime you just cannot live with and that is exactly what happened to these people. >> now, lot more cases are being uncovered where there is more damage, water damage that wasn't seen, you know right after the storms. >> reporter: gloria tried to live in her home for more than a year but became severely ill from the mold. now thanks to hundreds of volunteers almost every inch of her downstairs is new. >> i love it here. i thanked lord every day. >> let us play eternal god bless this home let your love rest upon it and promise be monday fess ted. >> reporter: two and a half years is a long home coming

weather watchers ande what we have to say. in south jersey we have mix with rain and sleet and then as you move further north closer to the river we're talking about mainly snow. bob reporting snow in burlington township with a temperature of 31 degrees. let's check out pennsylvania because we have had impressive snow amounts here 31 degrees, so below freezing. this is reported by carolyn in philadelphia. the temperature is still quite coal, march lion refusing to stop roaring. snow is wet, heavy. be careful shoveling. good news if you wait long enough tomorrow will be 50 i think you can let driveway go that is good news. lets look at northern delaware where it has change over to rain steve, and others are reporting rain and temperature of 33 degrees. the lets look outside, because normally we will see our parking lot right there below our sky deck and you can see it is snow cover. i can see natasha's car right there.

we will to have dust that off. you can see the the streets are just wet. that is the good news. our parking lot, there is natasha's car right there a few flurries left but visibility is improved over the course of the late afternoon. that is good news. our eyewitness cam takes to us a weather watcher pictures, speaking of water ice, i didn't want to blow surprise eileen mur friday gilbertsville went and she stuck her water ice to measure snow. that is a dedicated weather watcher. our live neighborhood network takes to us whitefield elementary where parking lot is fine, road are fine but they have pick up four or 5 inches of snow. right now most locations just above freezing, haven't change that much over the course of the day. in allentown and trenton still sticking a at 32. same in reading. here is snow totals, drexel hill will 5.9. greater forward over 5 inches. wynnewood 4 inches. the west chester 3.4. usually we will get more but not this time. new jersey, mount laurel,

5 inches, 4.3 in moorestown. we have another report from moorestown that is 5.5. lindenwald 4.2. cherry hill four. mays landing 3 inches. in delaware claymont two, hockessin 1.7. less amounts as we head toward the south as expected we have had more lane mixing in. so far 2.2 inches but this was earlier today. we will even up closer to three but for the season so far we have over 25 inches of snow. tonight snow clears the coast by eight slushy spots will turn icy as temperatures fall below freezing. we will see improvement tomorrow. temperatures in the 50's. then back in the 40's for sunday and monday but it will be sunny. overnight tonight low temperatures of 30. during the day tomorrow 50 degrees and a lot of that snow will be melting that is good news. of course, we have equinox today, the beginning of the spring, sun exactly over the equator. on the exclusive eyewitness weather seven day forecast turning colder but good news then it gets warmer.
