news" reporter steve paterson joins us live tonight, steve. >> reporter: chris and jessica the the family in the home behind me shaken after that bus drives right through their foyer and you can see behind me work that workers are doing to board up the rest of that home. we didn't realize how close it came to their actual family until we spoke to the mother who had her young children inside. it was a matter of moments. >> fifty-second earl are and it would have been tragic. >> reporter: jill says that was amount of time it took her and her eight year old daughter to walk out of their home's foyer. five seconds earlier they would have been here. she remembered the moment of impact. >> it sounded like an explosion. the force was so great that it pushed both of us on the floor. >> reporter: police say at quarter to 89:00 saint helena elementary school student were on board this bus this he were rounding windermere drive-in this blue bell neighborhood. a few students recall their driver becoming less lucid

before he lost control jump opinion the curb and plowing into this home. jill's husband and one of her daughters were inside. >> i just started screaming for my husband to get out of the house. >> reporter: kaelin was outside on the front lawn not far from the path of the bus. she said that she watched as the the bus tour through her home. >> i saw it coming down the road and it slid into our lot, and then hit the street side and then it crashed into the house. >> reporter: none of the nine children on the bus or four members of the jill's family were injured. in his current state the home is uninhabitable. jill says today who cares. >> i'm in the really thinking of the damage because that can be replaced i just thank god my kid are okay. that is what i keep thinking. >> reporter: here's within last look at the house. i'm told jill and her family will be looking to stay in a hotel tonight as workers continues to board up the home, in the meantime the 58 year-old driver was taken to the hospital to be check out,

investigators will be checking on a toxicology report to find out what kind of condition he was in before that crash. it is latees from blue bell i'm steve paterson for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". >> glad everyone is okay there, thanks very much. shocking news out of frank for tonight where human remains have been found in the backyard. it is a developing story. lets get out to todd quinones live at the scene, todd. >> reporter: chris, the the remains of the woman found right here behind this home here on frankford avenue just under the el, her body was found in the shallow grave. eyewitness took a picture of the man whom police say taserd and then later took into custody this afternoon. a police officer was flagged down just after 11:00 o'clock today. the officers were brought to the back of the building here in the 4700 block of frankford. there they discover the remains and also the man, struggle between man and officers ensued. an officer brought the man down using a taser.

the just a short while ago we spoke with the woman who works next door. she did not want her face on camera but she talk about what she heard and what she saw. >> everybody ran to the window. there was a guy laying on the ground with his face covered in blood. they hand cuffed him and threw him in the back of the car. >> reporter: homicide detectives were called out here to the scene. eyewitness tells us a man in custody was seen holding a shovel. right new relationship between the man in custody and victim is in the the clear but right now no charges have been filed. that is story reporting live tonight from frankford, todd quinones for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". >> todd, thank you. we are getting our first look at wreckage of the germanwings plane that went down in the french alps. that plane with 150 people on board crash this morning and everyone is presume dead. flight 9525 was in route from spain to dusseldorf germany. authorities say it went into a sudden steep eight minute dissent before slamming in the

mountains. investigators looking in the cause of the crash have found one of the jet's black boxes. stay tuned for more on the germanwings plane crash, scott pelley will have very latest on the "cbs evening news" that starts at 6:30. bensalem police identified pedestrian fatally hit by two cars crossing at street and knights road earlier this morning. twenty-eight year-old cristina massey. police say massey may have cross against the light just before she was hit at 6:00 a.m. one driver stopped but a second kept going. police track that driver home in new jersey no charges have been filed. last year time magazine called street and knights road the most dangerous intersection in america. a montgomery county counselor has been arrested and charged with sexually assaulting, a minor and, bernard, and allegedly, and 14 year-old female client multiple times. and, and and,.

and bucks county and, inappropriate, and, warminster says three three-year old michael swi der who was a teacher was romantically involved with that under age student. he faces multiple charges tonight and being held at the bucks county correctional facility. jennifer chadwick, jeremiah fees ter and antonio graves, they are all facing charges tonight after police seized drugs and guns from their home on heritage court drive. they also had 17 dangerous reptiles inside. police allege that the suspects were trying to destroy crack cocaine when they arrived on the scene and they say there was a three-year old inside the home so all three face charges of endangering the welfare of the child. hackers break into the computer network of the south jersey school district and is what more they are demanding a

ransom. teachers and a student at four elementary schools, in the swede bureau woolwich district got hit by hackers yesterday morning. these hackers messaged that they wanted to be paid 500 bit coins in digital currency that is equivalent to $128,000. >> the school is in session and it might have been 20 or 30 years ago before the advent of technology. >> for now hackers identity and motive remains a mystery. that district is working to get things backup and running. new at 6:00 o'clock tonight a dangerous driving crackdown. new jersey is joining a multi state effort to keep major highways safe. and, of course, have month over law. >> reporter: added patrols are part of the i-95 challenge a multi state effort to reduce crash's long the major east coast interstate. >> this year it is a coordinated effort from florida to maine. this is the largest enforcement effort on the east coast. >> i have seen a lot more cops here on the road. >> reporter: truck driver eddie cruz spend a good chunk of his workweek on i-95. he is happy to see crews are cracking down on distract drivers. >> it makes me feel good. they are checking out things. >> reporter: so, why warn the public about added patrols. >> what we are hoping to do with publicity in our media is get out the message that people will change their behavior before we have to get them pulled over. >> reporter: talking to people traveling on the turnpike today that message has been heard loud and clear. >> i think i better be more careful. >> oh, yeah, i don't want to pay those tickets. >> reporter: state police say this is just the first leg of the i-95 challenge. they also plan to amp up

kathy standing by in the weather center with the very latest on our forecast. >> thanks very much, chris. very exciting news. take a look at our storm scan three not so exciting news. we have cloud and rain to talk about here but this is associated with some warm air. something that we have been waiting for for the past five, six, or seven months. finally we will be seeing some of it, but unfortunately it will come with some rain. eyewitness weather watchers take us across the delaware valley. we want to thank you so many reporting in. temperatures in the 40's would some 30's sprinkled n we have a 43 in levittown with some sunshine before sunset. that is the good news. 37 degrees though being reported in downingtown. john says sunnies out, relative humidity sits at 40 per send. spring has sprung but still cold. come on, spring i could not agree more. lets take a beautiful picture of the gorgeous day eileen murray send in this pretty picture of the sunset march

sunset in pennsylvania. that is pretty. take a look at this pretty picture a view from sky cam three here in center city president center city studios overlooking our gorgeous sky line, plenty of blue something we didn't see much of over the course of the day to day. high temperature in philadelphia only made it to 40 degrees. that is so far below average. 16 degrees below normal but we will get close to that over the next couple days. forty in the city with the sunshine, we will peak at our high late today. 44 degrees in allentown. sun earlier. in reading 42. poconos 37. to the north we have 40's even to the south not a huge range in temperature with the cold northerly wind blowing. thank this area of high pressure for. that high governs our skies with clear skies and cold temperatures. but then as it slides off the coast ate allows rain and clouds to move in by tomorrow afternoon. by the noon hour we will see cloud. by the the afternoon a few showers. but good news is warmer air

eagles owner jeffery lurie broke his silence on the front office shake up that took much of general manager howie the roseman's responsibilities and handed them over to chip kelly. chip says it was the the owner's idea. mr. lurie explains yes made the change. >> chip had a vision how you to get from good to great. this was an improvement on what we had. i think that he felt that he could be maximized best with a senior personnel executive that was of his choosing and, of course, with my a approval. i feel like i was important to back him on that. >> spring training action fightins taking on the braves.
