this morning. man shot by police however is in stable condition and recovering in the hospital. he was shot three times but remains unclear this morning just how many times he was shot by police. investigator say he was shot by police gunfire once but police are investigating whether he was hit by gunfire before police arrived on the scene as well. take a a look at this video where it all happened yesterday around 7:30 at 17th and cayuga streets. police responded to that area for a shooting and when they arrived they found a minivan that crashed in the utility pole and had been shot and hit with as many as 15 bullets. police found the 23 year-old driver lying on the ground shot the in the torso and investigate say they saw a second man exit and pea again walking away. he had an gun with an extended clip. the officers chased the man a block away to bla thevet street. >> the officer ordered the male to stop, drop the weapon show his hand, stop running.
