"eyewitness news" report are jan carabao is live on the drexel campus good morning. >> reporter: good morning. we are hearing from emily selke's family and friend and this university all remembering the the young woman as a caring person dedicated to giving. take a look at emily selke who studied here on campus at the urban center and graduated with honors in 2013 earning a music industry degree. during her time at drexel selke was active as service sorority gamma, gamma sigma. it credits her with as integral part of growing the the chapter at drexel and members are remembering her as someone who always put others before herself. selke with her moth when her germanwings airline flight crashed in the trip there barcelona spain to dusseldorf germany on tuesday. one of the many friend spoke to cnn about the tragic news listen. >> i just keep saying over and over it is surreal.

mobile home park near tulsa and the storm left behind a a big mess in moore, oklahoma which was hit by a devastating tornado just two years ago that made nationwide headlines. the national weather service will check out the ruble today to see if that was a tornado that caused all that damage. but thankfully i can report this is not anywhere near the the severe situation for our area, but we're definitely going to see a significant impact out of that storm system. so right now we are sitting just really in the worst sector of the storm. so fog is really your initial concern. watch out for that little pocket. meanwhile here's the leading edge of the frontal boundary a lieutenant of moisture to work with. this will all march eastbound as the the day goes on. in between that point until the front gets here you will just be stuck with these pockets of rain and drizzle that come through intermittently anytime today. once the cold front gets here we will have a possibility for not just some heavy downpours and lightening but also some stronger win gusts.

police involved shootings in the city. the latest incident happened in nicetown tuesday night. police say officers shot a suspect pointed a gun at them at 17th and bl avis. he did survive. it happened a day after the the justice department release aid new report saying philadelphia police need better training in how they interact with the community. board will machine for the implementation of these changes. welshing happening today protesters are calling for philadelphia police reform after a a violent struggle with police at lawncrest recreational center last week. police arrested ten demonstrators after that protest turned violent. the protesters are part of the philadelphia coalition for racial, economic and legal justice. during an event at it i hall the group will demand to know information relating to the death of brandon tait brown a man shot and killed in december during a routine traffic stop. they will also ask that all charges be dropped against those arrested last week. also today a pennsylvania house committee will hold a hearing in philadelphia on
