jessica, police tell thaws were it not the for family of the victim intervening on her behalf last night this situation could have been that much more worse. victim was talking on her cell phone and screamed in the line when two suspects attack. she had just left the gym and headed home to the 3900 block of richmond avenue when the 14 and 16 years old teens assaulted and raped her using a gun and saying that they would kill her and her family if she didn't comply. >> what are the parents doing, you know and it is sad that it comes down to this. >> reporter: person on the phone the with the victim had called her family and they went looking for her. they spotted the two teens and the the victim shortly after the attack, the the suspect lead helping her somewhere else at gunpoint. the pair scattered and was arrested soon after, identified later by their allege victim. the the attack has neighbors uneasy. >> try to walk in crowd drive, in the walk, best i can tell you. there is not much you can do. >> reporter: "eyewitness news" found the 16 year-old

conclusions and they are filing a lawsuit. the sheridans were found unresponsive inside of their skillman home back on september 28th. prosecutors say that john sheridan was distraught about his work in the days leading up to their deaths. the couple's four sons released a statement today questioning the finding and saying that some key evidence is missing. they say that the conclusion it is nothing more than a expedient way for the the prosecutors's of to close its file, and put an end to the embarrassing bugling of the murder investigation in the hopes that our familiar establishing citizens of somer is set the county and the press will stop inquiring about what actually happened. just minutes ago cooper health released this statement. they say our hearts are with the the sheridan family at this difficult time. although the the findings about his death and the death of joyce are unfathomable to us they say they will continue to remember john as a compassionate leader of cooper who was committed to making positive changes, in camden. we're staying on top of this story. we will have the very latest

on cbs-3 philly.com. a septa busies in the right place at the right time. the driver is being called a hero after finding a little will girl who wandered from her home for a special treat. the the child was found alone at torresdale and magee in philadelphia's tacony neighborhood and "eyewitness news" reporter walt hunter has this incredible story. >> reporter: with little annabel ridgeway back safely at their side her parents had word of gratitude to septa bus driver hard len jennifer who opened up the doors of his route 56 bus, and his heart to the wet, shivering little girl sheltering and caring for her after she was spotted by a passenger wandering in the darkness just before 3:00 a.m. >> i cannot thank him enough. i wish i could have him right now. i really do. there is no way. there is no way. he saved my daughter's life. >> oh, manny was like you got to be kidding me. >> reporter: driver said as he called for help annabel

charges have been filed against one of the two men in the a attack in an attack on a elderly man. the suspect is facing charges that is 27 year-old steven miller. police say miller attacked an eight three-year old man outside his home at robbinsville apartment complex in voorhees. that man was beaten in the face and head and then robbed of his belongings. neighbors in the complex say they are upset. >> i heard a noise. i thought it was coming from up stairs. then my sister she just left, they said your neighbor is on the ground. he was bloody. he has a cain. but he was very bloody. >> a second suspect is facing charges accused of using the the victim's credit card following that attack. as for victim himself he is recovering tonight in the local hospital. a cold breezy evening, a far cry from yesterday's warmer temperatures. it is time to get coats, yet

you can almost taste it. i will she you photos showing budd on trees. we are seeing signs of it but just not feeling like spring. it did for a couple hours yesterday but we are still seeing showers off to the south. south jersey and delaware is seeing some showers. we've got flurries across central pennsylvania. in the middle we have got some sunshine. not too bad right now. those flurries are seeing off to the north and west could dive down in our area tomorrow. lets check with our weather watchers. you can see the difference looking at upper 40's near city but lower 40's down the shore. right now 41 at charles house in cape may courthouse. 41 degrees there. he sent us a photo. you can see cloud hanging on down the shore cool, cloud any cape may courthouse right along the coast of course. taking a look at a few more photos i want to show you signs of spring. here are mapel budd from greg mccoy in delaware. it does look like spring is starting to blossom but i feel like these budd will feel these temperatures tomorrow and say in thanks, we will go

high, that is where we will be sunday with highs only in the 40's still. by monday we will start to get back to normal with a chance for showers as a front approaches. looking forward again just a couple spotty flurries or sprinkles. you can see polka dots here but better chance for showers and snow showers down the shore as that system redevelops off the coast. quick look at temperatures. chilly need. down to 32 degrees at the airport . twenty-eight in reading. tomorrow afternoon not much better than lower 40's. tomorrow night we are down in the 20's. sunday morning starts off very cold, it will be clearing out, and warmer in the afternoon as we climb at least to the upper 40's which still is well below average but we will take any temperature increase we can get. the mostly cloud which a breeze 32 degrees. tomorrow 42 with cloud giving way to partly sunny conditions. still a chilly afternoon and can't rule out those flurries. we will get better sunday and monday. it will be sunny day. watch for pop up shower. tuesday and wednesday, again

seasonal, bit breezy and better chance for wet weather as we head into thursday and friday, highs get back in the 60's but as we have seen we cannot seem to get 60's and sunshine. if we get 60's it is accompanied by rain. that will be the case. it looks like a wet start to the easter weekend on saturday but looks chilly and dry for easter sunday. >> everything is a trade off in life. >> yes, kate thanks. >> you're welcome. and as i'm checking our jam cams we are not dealing with too much major rush hour at 6:19. definitely good thing for a friday rush. as we head outside we are dealing with the accident scene on 422 approaching oaks in the westbound lanes. you can see we are not tying anything up on the actual roadway but over in the right hand shoulder you can see several vehicles involved and slow go by that scene as well. speaking of slow go we are out on i-95 one the of the few jams we could fine right around allegheny in the north bound lanes. that is where we will see
