34 degrees in wilmington but factor in the wind later on today and it will feel even though we have reached 40 degrees, it may feel colder then the actual air temperatures we are seeing right now a long the the coast temperatures are in the middle 30's. the ocean is starting to warm up a little bit. why can't the rest of us. we will be finding warmer temperatures on the seven day forecast. the notice the other feature of today's weather, not just cool but windy. we've got these wind currently just right out of the northwest and they are sustained at 17 miles an hour. that makes our temperatures all of them right now feel like they are in the 20's and we will be keeping this wind going all day long and then even later on today we will start to see these wind gusts up to 30 miles an hour. the iemperature, it forms a nice little roof, a nice little house there, doesn't it. we have 40 degrees that was last tuesday. we will probably end up with 40 degrees today too and in between what did we do? well, we stayed very consistent in the upper 40's, thursday, that was a great one, at 67 degrees. felt nice.
6:18 am
but we had a lot of rain associated with it. we need 67 or 68 degrees and in rain. we don't see that coming this weekend, however. today we will find temperatures that will get to about 40 degrees. tomorrow we should be in the upper 40's with high pressure building in, lots of sunshine tomorrow. and by the the time we will get to monday we will be 234509's which is nice. one or two computer models show a rain shower coming down to monday but still it is more acceptable in the 50's then it is in the 40's or 30's. now our future weather this was right, picking this up, now, that is gone from the area, it is not picking up where we're seeing at least aloft some of the snow showers, so expect to find clouds around scattered here or there and some have of them could be scattered here or there too. this computer model shows them over there you could fine them scattered around later on today with a couple of sprinkles and flurries as we head in the afternoon, first part of the evening that leaves we're left with sunshine here tomorrow, temperatures will get slightly
6:19 am
warmer and still be in the 40's but upper end of the 40's and then monday a couple of clouds and then maybe later on monday do we see a few showers coming through here it is possible but that is also possible to change. that is the weather for us. as we look the at weather temperatures today, 40 degrees. poconos 32 degrees. the it is too cold in every single location. remember these win gusts of 30 miles an hour and that is chance of the stray flurry or sprinkle tonight 22 degrees so cold bring those pets in, i necessity you'll keep the layers on you'll need them, 48 degrees tomorrow. monday 58. tuesday 55. maybe a shower later on in the day. by thursday on friday we are in the lower 60's, maybe a shower but those temperatures are a lot better nicole. >> it is a heart stopping real look at dangers of drinking and driving. a california woman allegedly intoxicated is passed out behind the wheel on the busy freeway. reporter steve, shows us the the video and heroic police
