and new this morning, a police officer and five others are injured when an out of control car barrels into their cars during a traffic stop. now, that car smashed into a police cruiser and another vehicle on what investigators call a dangerous stretch of highway in bucks county. good morning everyone, thanks for joining us. it happened on route one northbound near the route 13 exit. "eyewitness news" reporter jan carabeo, at the falls township police heard quarters right now in fairless hills to tell you more about it, jan? >> reporter: erika, ukee there is was a very serious accident, but fortunately police tell us, the office here was involved in this accident did not suffer life threatening injuries. however, as you mentioned, six of people had to be taken to the hospital because of this three-car crash on very busy and what police call very dangerous stretch of highway in bucks county, take a look at the video, you can see all of the damage left behind. now there is accident happened around 10:45, on sunday night on route one near route 13, a

falls township police officer had pulled over a driver, clocked going 90 miles per hour. as the office ever was walking to speak to that driver, police say a third car crashed into the patrol car causing a chain reaction. so the officer's car then hit the vehicle that had them pulled over. four people in that vehicle were taken to the hospital, so was the officer who was thrown during the accident, and none of them have life threatening injuries. police are still investigating the cause of this crash. but do have some preliminary information, they believe the driver of the striking vehicle may have been impaired. police are investigating this, as a dui crash take a listen. >> not uncommon in this area for when we are doing speed enforcement that we clock vehicles at 100-mile per hour plus up on this area. we do believe speed was also a factor in this incident. you can see the damage to the cars. and this also isn't too far from where middletown officer chris jones was killed on route one not too long ago

on a traffic stop. this is our worse nightmare. you really got keep your head on a swivel when pulling cars over. >> and police go onto add that the driver that far striking vehicle did have a severe head injury taken to the hospital, no update on that drivers condition this morning. reporting live outside of the falls township police department, jan carabeo cbs-3, "eyewitness news". >> thank you jan. in other news this morning taxi driver suspected of driving under the influence leads police on a chase. now, police say they received calls about the taxi going the wrong way in south philly. when police approached the taxi, the driver led them on a chase. it finally came to an end when the driver lost his front tire crashing at delaware and oregon. the driver tried to run on foot, that didn't work, he was quickly apprehended. and the cause of deadly accident in burlington county new jersey is under investigation, the crash involved a tractor-trailer and a car. happened last last night i295 northbound south of exit 45, in westhampton. the victim's identity has not been released.

southbound into center city. northbound lanes doing just fine. as for the rest of the majors, everything still free and clear, turnpike, eastbound from valley forge into bensalem only 23 minutes nice and clear on the blue route headed southbound from the schuylkill to 95, only seven minutes on 422 from oaks into 202 if you are headed eastbound. still out in new jersey dealing with a downed pole due to earlier accident on pennington road blocking all lanes, from the north and southbound side right around olden avenuement take parkway avenue to get on by. back to you. >> thank you, 6:05 right now. federal aviation experts will be in chester county today to look into this deadly plane crash. that small plane went down shortly after take off at the brandywine airport in west chester yesterday afternoon. two people on board were killed. "eyewitness news" reporter matt rivers has that story. >> the plane took off from brandywine airport shortly after 1:30 sunday afternoon and the trouble for the small piper pa28 aircraft started almost immediately. >> shortly after take walk,

the plane starts to sputter and then basically took a nosedive and came in down in the woods behind us. >> the plane shattered on impact its debris scattered amongst several piles of stone on a piece of property near route 202 in west goshen. the plane's pilot and passenger died on impact. as a fire broke out at the scene. >> caused flames 20 feet up in the air, rusty like chemicals. >> firefighters quickly put out the fire, and investigators began their grissly task of piecing together what happened and why. coroner's then took the two bodies out of the crash site as neighbors looked on. >> as you know some pilots fly out of here. so it is sad to hear that the people didn't make it. >> the plane came down not far from a senior living apartment complex, and several houses, but did not hit any of those buildings. it is unclear if the pilot steered for the clearing on purpose, but the damage here, could have been worse. >> thank god it didn't hit you know, the senior complex or any of the homes around here. >> matt rivers, cbs-3 "eyewitness news".

>> the trial begins today for six former philadelphia narcotics officers charged with corruption. they are accused of allegedly stealing drugs and money from drug dealers. convicted former officer jeffrey walker, is expected to testify against his long time colleagues. walker admits he planted evidence in a suspect's car and stole $15,000 from him. that trial is expected to take ten weeks. a group of student at north penn high school are staging a walk out today. the protest is to show support for a group of female students, who had inapropriate photos and pictures on line. student told "eyewitness news", the pictures were posted on drop box. north penn school district says they are working with local law enforcement to find out what happened. >> also, today philadelphia city council is trying to prevent another deadly accident like this one. when a food truck erupt intoed a fireball on feltonville street. a council committee will talk today about a bill requiring

regular safety inspections of the food truck's fuel tanks. two women died last july when leaking propane tank triggered that blast. your time 6:08. and charges are expected in the shooting death after off duty police officer in glenolden. a delaware county official says the victim is 26 year old mark hudson. the darby borough officer was off duty saturday when he was shot in the chest inside glenolden home. he died of his injuries. hudson was also a firefighter in yeadon. the fire company's chief spoke with "eyewitness news" about hudson. just was friendly with everybody. and that's what started his career. you know, he knew from the firehouse he wants to help people. we deal with a lot of bad things in the fire service but his is really close to home. >> police confirm there was a woman in the home at the time of the shooting. she has not been identified. ukee, with deadline set for tomorrow, the nuclear talks between iran, the us and five other countries are at critical moment. as michael bert reports, there is progress, but both sides are still trying to break the

dizzy, but i can tell you the majority of people don't have symptoms until the blood pressure is really high. things that people do that crib to high blood pressure, being inactive. if you're not moving around a lot, if you drink a lot of alcohol. if you smoke. if you really overweight. or if your diet has a lot of sugars and salt, those all can crib to high blood pressure. >> uncontrolled stress, stress reduction techniques. >> so trying to do it naturally don't want to take medication, check offer the list of things you just mentioned and don't do those things. >> our ' right. erika, you know, you're real active. so being active even walking like 30 minutes a day, five days a week, also, decrease sugar, decrease salt in your diet. try to get more rest. if you have sleep apnea a that could raise your blood pressurement. by the way if you have diabetes, do you know majority of people with dai-ichi beat east, so the bottom line is no matter what medical condition
