yesterday, two people were killed. "eyewitness news" reporter alexandria hoff is live with what we know tonight alexandria. >> reporter: ntsb investigators say they will take what they have learn here today and compile that in a full report, on this crash and how it may have happen, next week and then the full report up to a year. police investigators with the ntsb and faa spent the early morning hour sorting through metal, fiberglass and a scorched mass. effort to piece together what killed two pilots. >> power lines adjacent, is there a tall fence nearby. we don't have any evidence of a shallow type approach. >> reporter: upon arrival it was an active fire scene. so, our officers could not get close enough to it so they secured the scene. >> the at this point we understand the purpose of the flight was a flight review and that is a semi or two year requirement for in this case

news". students, teachers and parents at burlington county high school now mourning loss of the teen killed in the tragic accident sunday night. "eyewitness news" reporter cleve bryan. they spoke to the classmates. >> reporter: metal frame crinkled like tin foil. tractor trailer struck and killed lyric smith on interstate 295 late sunday evening. state the police say for some unknown reason she lost control at mile mark four are three in mount laurel. she crashed in the guard rain and spun in the center lane. >> she exited her vehicle and standing right next to her door on her cell phone and a tractor trail are came and made contact with her in the vehicle. >> reporter: police say tractor trailer driver was not speeding or impaired. he tried to move in the left lane. but sideswiped smith and her car. >> i knew lyric. she was very, she was very loving. >> reporter: smith was a senior at burlington county institute of technology where crisis counselors met with

students on monday. >> it is just horrible. very sad. >> reporter: at burlington county institute of technology students worked together in close knit clusters baseond career interest. lyric smith wanded to be a necessary. >> she wanted to go to widener university she put down her deposit and she wanted to be a registered nurse. >> reporter: smith was on her way, last year she work at mason i can home as a earth filed nurse ago cysttent. state police have not concluded their investigation but, the the tractor trailer does not fake any charges. in mount laurel i'm cleve bryan cbs-3 "eyewitness news". a police officer and five others are injured in the chain reaction crash in bucks county. this happened near route one and route 13 late last night. authorities say a car rear ended a police car and smash into a car that had been pulled over for speeding. falls township officer thomas lung quiz suffered a wrist injury. investigators believe alcohol played a role in the crash.

girl friend of the mark hudson has been charged for a prior domestic related incident. authorities say that 27 year-old tiana finch threatened hudson with a weapon last year. sources tell "eyewitness news" that officer hudson took out a restraining order against finch in january. hudson was fatally shot the in his glenn olden home over the weekend. police say only the couple were inside that home. >> she has been arrested for that complaint. she has been put on $250,000 bail and i'm not sure if she's still in the hospital or transported to the the prison. >> finch was hospitalized. she suffered a medical emergency while being questioned. she has been charged with terroristic threats, simple assault and possession of the weapon in connection with the incident in august. opening statement took place today in the trial of six former philadelphia a police officers accused of corruption. the suspects all narcotics officers are accused of beating drug suspects.

thus beautiful pictures of the fair weather cumulus clouds and deep blue sky with low humidity. we have to appreciate that while we have it. take a look outside to the north we go in the poconos. jack frost big boulder still skiing. guess what with a couple extra inches of snow, coming tomorrow afternoon we will continue to extend the ski season. that is the good news, for our snow lovers, and skiers in the poconos. we are going to be seeing some milder temperatures, moving our way. today's high is 57. average is 58 for this time of the year. during the day tomorrow we will see rain, wet snow but we will stay in the 50's and then 60's as we move into the month of april. so gradually it will be warmer. philadelphia 56. fifty-seven in millville. right now in dover it is 57. we will watch as skies stay clear and it turns cold tonight. tomorrow morning we will start off clear but we will see cloud moving from the west. a few scattered rain showers and sprinkles by the noon hour. after thaw will need the umbrella because this radar fills in with pretty much steady precipitation
