"eyewitness news" reporter jan carabao joins us from the township police station in huntington valley jan, good morning. >> reporter: erika and ukee, you mentioned it it was a gruesome scene. authorities say husband and wife were found dead inside their homes, had wound on their body a maid by a chain saw. today the autopsies will be performed, to determine their exact cause of death. the medical examiner's van left the scene in lower more land late last night preparing to conduct autopsies on a husband and wife found dead at

their home on country lane. township police and montgomery county detectives spent all of tuesday inside collecting evidence. >> search warrant is being conduct right now with our forensic unit, they are on the the scene. it is a bloody scene. >> reporter: to make matters worse authorities say it was couple's four year-old son who discovered the body and called for her. first responders found the four three-year old woman and 48 year-old husband unresponsive and suffering from cuts made by a chain saw. authorities say that chain saw was found near the bodies. at this .1 of the deaths is an apparent homicide friend embraced as the news spread throughout the neighborhood. >> they seemed happy. whatever they went through was their own personal business. >> they were really nice kind nice nice people. >> reporter: friend say pair grew up in lower moreland and husband owned a huntington valley excavation business but

while couple had been married for about 20 years some say they have recently had problems. >> really, just a hard worker, working kind of guy and we all knew in the circle of friend that they had their difficulties but you know for it to come to this. >> reporter: "eyewitness news" has learned the names of the both of the victims here but we are not the releasing them until authorities officially release their names and they are still notifying next of kin this couple leaves behind three children. we're reporting live outside lower moreland police department jan carabao for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". charges are expected against a former fire fighter accused of holding fellow fire fighters hostage in the firehouse. police say paul jordan armed with the gun walk into lah moth firehouse in elkins park yet morning. jordan who was fired from the department held four fire fighters hostage. "eyewitness news" spoke to the family of one of those

to i-95 from cottman a avenue trying to yum seven on the southbound side we are dealing with the blockage as a result of construction. trying to get to i-95 out of the northeast stay on the roosevelt boulevard make that left on harbison avenue and turning into aramingo and jump on i-95 there. pretty easy. in delays on the north bound side still very quiet seeing a few headlights out there but pennsylvania, new jersey delaware fantastic. speed sensors high up in the 50's and notice no fooling here it is pretty nice. things will change for sure. traveling however the the the route 36 trolley they are doing construction so they will be shuttle busing so note that erika. happening today controversial anti muslim ads will begin running on the sides of some septa buses.
