anywhere. senator menendez plans to fight a federal indictment. he helped to federal court this morning accused of corruption charges. menendez is charged with accepting close to a million-dollar in gifts and campaign contributions. >> good morning, everyone. "eyewitness news" reporter jan carabao joins us from our satellite center to tell us in more bit. >> reporter: senator menendez faces 14 counts including conspiracy, bribery and making false statements but throughout this three-year investigation he has maintain his innocence and did he that last night to a fiery speech to reporters and support's like and pledged that this will not end his career. menendez with solomon melgen a florida eye doctor, were both indicted in connection with the bribery scheme. the justice department says that between january 2006 and january 2013 menendez accepted close to one million-dollar in lavish gifts and campaign contributions from melgen in exchange for using the power of his senate seat to influence medicare

attendants baggage handlers and aircraft cleaners striking for higher wages as well as health insurance and paid sick leave. rally is organized by local union. they have work with these workers in the past most recently as a member, as well as january. the these strikers, they are not unionized. they are employed by agencies which include prospect and prime flight those are agencies contracted by airlines like u.s. airways to provide services. these workers currently make $7.25 an hour. they make this wage almost a year after city voted to a have prove a new hourly wage. mayor nutter sign off on a 2-dollar hourly wage for city subcontracted workers. difficult ask how that works if the contract is with actually the city or airlines. it turns out they say that because this operation is on city property they are do you that $12 an hour. we did speak to a worker

breaking news store thinks morning. traveling on i-95 north bound it is ramp from 420. outer lanes of i-95. if you are traveling in those areas those outer lanes at one point was closed so make sure you stay on i-95, if you can and 291 is not the best alternate because they have closed, that bridge for emergency bridgework. so you will need to do maneuvering in and around this area we will keep you updated on that but the good news is they have finally extinguished this fire. notice it is a vehicle carrier in the the just a single vehicle but single vehicle on top of another vehicle or many. emergency teams still on the scene. let's get to the the ground view of what you are dealing with. so this is a really good de picks on of the delays we have in this area anyone heading to the airport we will be stuck in the northbound delay. there is, the ramp from 420 to 95. you will note that is is block by emergency teams. please give yourself some more time. you may be waiting a while. also if you are traveling route one southbound at neshaminy in bucks county we have a very serious accident here. another case where emergency

lets get over to vittoria with the latest on the i-95 situation, good morning. >> the the good news is as you will notice there is a lit built of smoke entering out of the vehicle here earlier engulfed in flames on the north bound side of i-95 right around 420. they have extinguished this quickly but take a look at the the slew of emergency teams on the scene and take a look at the slew of volume we have leading up to that incident. traveling on the northbound side of i-95 heading to the philadelphia international airport this will be no picnic at all. you can take stewart avenue to ridley that is an alternate but you have to do maneuvering. best thing to do is give yourself more time because this is what you have a head of you. 420 ramp to northbound i-95 is also closed. we will update you on. that the bright spot right now is the the weather katie. >> absolutely. speaking of bright, my gosh we have a nice sunrise underway right now, vittoria. chilly start with the light win. that has led to the extra effect of some frost which you
