two people are shot sat a party near temple university campus. we are live with the latest on their condition. also this morning, want to give you live look at storm scan3 here. rain moving into the area. we could see some heavier showers this afternoon but on the upside it is 60 degrees right now. when is the last time at this hour you saw 60 degrees? >> how about that? it is good friday, 2015. good morning i'm ukee washington. >> i'm erika von tiehl. right over to katie see what's hang in our passover and holiday weekend? right now it is what's going to be at least the worse of our weather worries for the next two and a half days here. we have to get the system through. this is nasty. this snake-like rope-like line of nasty storms rumbling, basically, just south of i64. so it is more than ohio river valley concerned right now.

but his is all eventually going to head our way. we actually do have at least slim shot for some locally strong and very gusty thunderstorms, which more than anything, would be very strong wind producers. so let's take you here at the local level. at this moment, some moisture starting to bill up. might see couple of drops starting to fall on the windshield, perhaps, on the northeast extension generally just getting underway. but as we talk specifically about these thunderstorms, it is mainly afternoon and into the evening, they would be locally scattered and specially confined to new jersey southeastern pennsylvania, and delaware, with gusty wind frequent lightning, downpours. now, i don't want you to worry too much about this. but there is at least a very slim chance that even a isolated tornado could pop if the conditions are ripe. if the conditions are ripe. so it is something we will keep an eye on. more than anything, rain and localized thunderstorms are the concern. 60 degrees right now though. yes, feels pretty good outside. again, the warmth will help get some strength ignited with storms later today.

in the meantime, your eyewitness weather day planner heating up again. going for the upper 60s later on today ukee, back over to you. >> kate, thank you. we are following breaking news right now, bullets fly at house party in north philly injuring two men. >> "eyewitness news" reporter jan carabeo joins us at police headquarters with the latest information on that, jan good morning. >> good morning, that north philadelphia neighborhood very quiet right now but certainly wasn't the case earlier today. there was a house party there with some 100 people, crammed into a single row home. the party ends in the gunfire two, people in the hospital, two people in custody. take a look at the video how police say it all went down, officers on patrol, heard gunshots near the 2300 block of north park avenue, around 1:30 a.m. they say a fight broke out inside of this house party on that block and spilled on to the street. that's when those shots rang out, now when police arrived they found 19 year old man shot three time, he's now in critical condition.

also discovered 23 year old man shot once in the arm. he is in stable condition this morning. meantime attempt to go lyft scene was a man who police spotted putting a gun on the ground, police say he tried to get away, struggled with officers during arrests he was with another man and both are in custody this morning being yesterday by police. take listen. >> fortunately, there are police real time crime cameras in the 2200 block of park avenue. and our real time crime unit which is operational 24 hours a day did observe the shooting so the shooter and part of the shooting is recorded by philadelphia police cameras. >> and police are also questioning close to dozen witnesses in the meantime, again, that 24 year old man who was spotted put that weapon down in custody and another man in custody, as women. they say a man who was with the 24 year old. now, along with the cameras obviously, they hope to wrap up this case quickly with

traveling out and about this morning it is not awful at all. construction zones may set you back just like they set you back yesterday. specifically on 95, but for the most part all of the majors moving at real nice pace. taking a look first at 95, not too far away from center city. if you are traveling around girard avenue, they've even had intermittent lane blockages, i even notice southbound heading in toward the cbs studios only were allowing traffic to not even bypass the vine st. expressway. so, folks had to do little bit of maneuvering to continue further south on 95, not the same case right now but if you are traveling southbound, on 95, you will notice it is one lane, if you are traveling right around girard avenue. if you are heading northbound, not awful but still something to be mindful of this morning definately, could set you back. they usually pick up the cones around 5:00, 5:30, so we'll keep an eye. talcony palmyra bridge looking great out there earlier construction wrapped up on both sides. speed censors again moving real well, 55 being the average. you have the schuylkill, the

blue route doesn't matter if you are traveling in pa, delaware, in the green all looking excellent. if you are traveling island avenue at woodland avenue, accident along with downed pole. so, if you could try to avoid that area i would suggest you do. that will and there are new regional rail schedules that will be in place starting monday. so definitely one two looking at the mass transit checklist, keep that in mind. double check on monday because those schedules will be different. right after the holidays. and also new suburban bus schedules in effect as well monday 201 204 206 keep that this in mind if you are traveling any weekend for the holiday, things at the airport look just great. >> thanks so much. new this morning car crashes into a pole killing a person. it happened at fisher and jenkintown roads in jenkintown. the victims identity has not been released. the cause of the crash is under investigation. >> also, being looked into underway this morning looking into allegations of hazing involving members of the st. joseph's university women's

softball team. the school released a statement reading in part: remedial actions have already been taken to assure there is no disruption to the educational environment of any student who may be affected. the university adds it is taking the matter very seriously, has not discussed the specific nature of the allegations. and, a penn state fraternity is closed this morning after hazing investigation pie cap a pi allegedly violated rules comes as police investigate another penn state fraternity for secret facebook pages allegedly showing nude photos of women. university president eric baron, was supposed to establish a greek life task force this week. but officials say it is taking longer than expected. the search is on this morning, for a gunman who shot two teenagers in north philadelphia. that shooting happened yesterday afternoon at 25th and jefferson street. police say a 14 year old a 19 year old were shot.

>> well, a fisherman survives 66 days stranded at sea finally fawn on capsized sailboat about 200 miles off the north carolina coast. container ship spotted 37 year old lewis jordan and rescued him, in january jordan went fishing off the coast of south carolina. now, while he was fishing the boat mass broke and electrical equipment was damaged, jordan's father said his son is fairly inexperienced sailor who could not fix his boat and sale it home. >> we new he had been out there for a long time. but i didn't know if he was a drift for a long time because he had a nice boat, but apparently the boat went down. >> picked him up from the container ship and took him to a hospital. i apparently survived by eating raw fish and drinking rain water. >> the fbi is investigating after two cruise ship passengers are found dead during a vacation to puerto rico. cleaning crew discovered the bodies in a state room aboard holland america's ms rindsham.

river valley, there is a nasty line of thunderstorms rumbling through. and eventually, that wet weather is going to reach us. we will get some heavier rain out there, at this point the severe weather threat of at least as far as the worse of the severe weather threat is confine anywhere from tennessee, kentucky, lower mississippi valley. it is extending out to our area. let's zero in on. >> this lighter shade of green indicate wag we call now marginal risks one of the new err categories, storm prediction center, has since added to sort of their categorization of severe weather. so it is the lowest risk, but we're still in it. so you have got to watch out specially this afternoon into the early evening for some lightning, heavy rain, gusty winds, and there is a possibility that even if we did see one every these storms rumble through that if there was some twisting that went on we could see brief tornado. just a possibility though, okay, i don't want you to get nervous about that. we'll let you know if there is need for more concern.
