w with the the woman who came to the victim's rescue. good evening i'm chris may. i'm's jessica dean. we have team coverage of this developing story, we will begin with our walt hunter who just spoke to the good samaritan who found would the man battered and bruised. he is live in delaware county walt. >> reporter: as horrifying as this crime was it could have been so much worse if not the for a good samaritan a young woman who found the victim hand cuffed and shackled in a cemetery, came to her rescue, sheltered her, alerted police and may well have saved her life. we spoke exclusively with that good samaritan this afternoon and she asked us in the the to reveal her identity or where she lives. police have revealed new information about the crime new video, being shown right here released this afternoon showing a vehicle that police believe may have held the three attackers as they beat their victim taserd her, held her in the parking garage and then came back once again

after they abandoned her in the cemetery to torture her some more hoping to get numbers to her atm. at that point in the cemetery with the rain falling a good samaritan came along and saw her and came to her rescue. we spoke with her as she described what that moment was like. >> we seen a lady coming out of the cemetery. we could tell her hand were cuffed behind her back and she was yelling for help. he said he asked me difficult see her? i said should we turn around. we said yes. we turned around. by this time she made her way to the middle of the island. so she said ma'am are you okay. she said i have been kidnap abduct. i don't know where i am can you help me. her feet were shackled together. her hand were behind her back. her eye was basically swollen shot. she had something around her neck. something was over her eyes and her pants were like undone and she had dirt all over her clothes. i could tell she was like really shaken up.

information that the woman was not only physically abused but that her attackers used psychological torture to torture their victim. >> they kept telling her today is the day that you're going to die. >> reporter: over and over again, these are the words philadelphia police say three men repeated to their victim in between torture sessionness this now infamous maroon van. >> someone had to see the men, someone has to know they had it, and what we're asking for is a tip. >> reporter: tuesday police begging the public for help with new video from the scene in the clear time line of events, take a look shortly after 1:00 sat take a afternoon this maroon e exxon owe line marking van marks the the garage. fifty-nine three-year old victim split from her boss and head down to her car. it the is then police say three men abduct would the man starting an ordeal that would last some two hours.

3:51 you can see van heading for roof where the woman is bound, beaten and shot some seven times with a taser. men demanding keys in a security code to the women's store. half hour later a security camera gets a good shot of the van while the the woman is being driven away. new video shows them heading east on chestnut. when it is clear she does in the know pass code to the store the men demand pin number from their atm card. 4:40 more video shows crooks refueling at this wawa in the 8400 block of bartram. police say it is one of the places they used the woman's atm card. very soon after she's dumped in the wooded area near a cemetery 10 miles away in darby township. again police say they have conducted interviews in this area and that business owners in the area, say they have seen the van in recent months, maybe four to five times within the past month. it is a maroon ford van late

locust and basin streets. one of those men were hit. woman drove that man to plymouth township where she flagged down police to help. that man later died at the hospital. the other gunman remains at large tonight. the man accused of taking fire fighters hostage last week was arraigned to day paul jordan is held on 1.5 million-dollar bail. it was last tuesday when police say he went to the lamott firehouse in elkins park and forced fire fighters in the basement at gunpoint. that situation was resolved without any injuries. authorities say that jordan had recently lost his job at that fire company. party is over for fraternities and sororities at rutgers university. school announced its banned greek organizational parties for the the rest of the spring semester this follows several alcohol-related problems this school year including the death of the student. we did check rutgers camden and it told us it did not have any fraternity or sorority owned houses. we have learn that the shut down of the four atlantic

city casinos has been benefiting those casinos still in business. remaining casinos increased their gross operating profits by 44 percent in 2014 to 341.1 million-dollar. the golden nugget had biggest profit jump of all up 144 percent. also, the average hotel occupancy rate was up 3 percent, compared to 2013. one casino that we know failed is now getting new life, the revel officially has a new owner tonight. revel sold for just 82 million-dollar, to the florida developer glenn straub. that building cost more than 2 billion collars to build initially. straub was on site today he told "eyewitness news" he wants to do 150 million-dollar worth of renovations and then have a soft opening plan for memorial day weekend. he said restaurants will open first followed by the hotel and then the casino. collindale police are looking for an allege scam

thousands are expected to turnout for a funeral for a fire chief in bucks county. he passed away at 95 while still being an active member of that company. our todd quinones talk to some who knew him best. >> he is one in a million. they don't make them like john anymore. >> reporter: hear that a lot at edgeley fire company and for good reason. nine five-year old john had no peer. >> he is on record to be the oldest active volunteer fire fighter in the you had of america. >> reporter: seen here in this video posted on you tube he kept his sense of humor, most recently a member of the fire police directing traffic at fire scenes. he was hospitalized with breathing problems after volunteering during a fire in late february on a brutally cold night.

he died, on thursday. >> it is tough. it is tough on all of us. i mean he was a go to guy for everything. >> reporter: his grandson says 95 years old's dedication to fire fighting never yielded his helmet and several pictures acorn the the levittown firehouse documenting his services to saving lives. >> there was no way he would ever stop, if he stopped he would have passed years ago. >> reporter: he was captain here for 25 years. >> i represent the the township. >> reporter: that is him in the late 50's appearing in an instructional film. he is considered a founding father of fire fighter training in bucks county. he served with the edgeley fire company for 28 years. >> eighty-two years of service. some people are lucky to make it ten years these days. >> reporter: he worked as an electrician was a world war two veteran. he received nine purple heart and bronze and silver star. there will be a viewing thursday night the at the firehouse and friday night at 11:00 there will be a service

at edgeley fire company and from there his casket will be carried on a fire truck to his grave site. reporting live from the sat center, todd quinones for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". what a career and life, todd thanks very much. fundraiser is being held to raise money for a new k-9 officer at allentown police department. department's former k-9 patrolman named vinny had to retire early as a result of health problems. organizers for k-9 project said they made $12,500 to bring in a new four legged member to the force. energy department says summer drivers will see the lowest gas price necessary about six years. national average price is forecast to fall 32 percent from a year ago to $2.45 a gallon. that will happen between april and september. that would be the the lowest seasonal average since 20 on one. if you look at current gas price necessary our region you'll fine in pay gallon of regular is 2.53. in new jersey, it is 2.16. in delaware 2.27.

295, new jersey turnpike and we are seeing steady rain at the moment as well. look at this 24 hour temperature change. we told you in the 50's north and west. 21 degrees colder then at this time yesterday in allentown. 15 degrees colder then this time yesterday in philadelphia so the change is upon us. look at these northeasterly wind. that boundary is right about here. still south wind hanging on in delaware and south jersey but these northeast wind will bull dose through area tonight and it will get chilly. we are looking at dreary conditions right through rest of the week, 40's tomorrow 50 degrees on thursday and then friday a warm surge ahead of the cold front. still some showers but we are right back to the 70's. not too bad by end of the week what to expect? cloudy chilly breezy, showers anytime about .15 to quarter inch of rain. temperatures are 20 degrees below average in some spots. overnight tonight mostly cloudy showers 44 degrees. that temperatures go in where. we may be lucky to get to 49.
