jan. >> reporter: erika and ukee behind me is lenape high school. the officer slager roamed halls here in the late 90's and graduated in 2001. now he is behind bars a accused of shooting and killing an unarmed man in south carolina. take a look at his picture. "eyewitness news" caught up with neighbors who knew michael slager growing seven here in south jersey. they remember him as a nice young man. this is his 1999 lenape high school year book. he was a sophomore. now he he is making headlines for a graphic video. slager is charge with killing walter scott. he fired eight shots at scott unarmed on saturday in north charleston but neighbors here remember slager who was a friendly kid, went to high school and lived in the area before joining the coastguard and then eventually north charleston police department. one neighbor asked not to be identified because he was friend with the slager family. >> we moved here when he was
