details on that plus rain on the way full details straight ahead. justin? >> something to look forward tonight nice day today. that will will help things out on the road, 76 at 202 no problems right now but dealing with typical morning construction, few lane and road closures, we'll get to the details coming up in a few minutes, ukee? >> justin, thanks so much. more on breaking news now, two hour barricade situation in west philly is over. after man surrenders to police. it happened at 48th and parish in mill creek. woman told police a man sexually assaulted her threatened her with a gun, and took $20 from her purse. he eventually surrendered around 4:00 this morning police are now questioning him. they say no one was hurt. also breaking, a house fire in west mt. airy this morning, "eyewitness news" on the scene along the 100 block of west sharpnack street. the fire broke out around 3:30 this morning, it was quickly placed under control. there is no report of any injuries. the cause of that fire is still under investigation. a disable man left in the

woods without food or water for days. now, police have arrest warrant for his mother. "eyewitness news" reporter justin finch joins us now at southwest detectives, to bring you up to date on this investigation. justin? >> ukee, good morning, that mother's name is my apparel or now in maryland, and police are working philadelphia police, to bring her back to the city to face charges in her son's abandonment. she is 41 years old, lives in the 500 block of baltimore avenue. she is now facing charges of assault, kidnapping, false imprisonment action neglect unlawful restraint. she also is expected to face those charges. now she is accused of leaving her son for five days in cobbs creek park, her son, 21 years old, quadriplegic, non-verbal, also suffers from cerebral palsy. also left there sometime last monday morning. now, where was parker during that time? well police say through tips, they traced her to her boyfriend's home in montgomery county maryland.

she remains in the hospital in maryland at this time. now, at last check she was being treated therefore an undisclosed injury. meantime, her son is being cared for at chop here in philly. he is suffering from nail nutrition, dehydration, vision problems, and a cut to his back. his condition most recently is said to be stable. his survival, though, is being called a miracle this morning. take a listen. >> you see that kid laying there, it is heart breaking to see another human specially a mother can treat someone like that when you have all of the opportunities in the world to turn that kid over to your family members who wanted to care for him. >> now, at this time, his family his family here in philadelphia, is by the side of that 21 year old man, who is recovering from those injuries. after being left in cobbs creek park for days, his mother is awaiting extradition to philadelphia to face charges in this case. police are also launching with other agencies here in the city a long-term investigation into the care he was receiving at his mother's house. live at southwest detectives,
