way in the home, they took freeman in custody. he now face's salt and a number of other charges n1 was hurt. we have new details now about what led to a barricade situation at forty-eighth and par niche west philadelphia. police say a four three-year old man sexually assaulted a woman at her home month. man says she was then robbed at gunpoint. would the man escaped and called police. when police got there that is where the standoff unfolded. the man surrendered and no one was hurt. well, developing right now, the search is on for gunman who shot and killed a print shop director at wayne community college in north carolina officers lock down campus build initial goldsboro and conduct a room by room search this morning. authorities say former student ken i have stencil killed ron lane inside his print shop. stencil previously work under lane. >> actually, he took off and we had tracked the dogs, we could see up in the air too. i just don't know if he left in the vehicle or not.

we have done everything we can to follow-up and search for him. >> reporter: lane was a long time campus employee. police say he was this shot to death shortly after a arriving at work. a construction accident at the king of prussia small send three people to the hospital. chopper three on the scene on the court side of the mall, officials a two men were inside a scissor jack lift when they cut a live cable. one electrician is now in serious condition from the electric shock, and another worker was injured and is in stable condition. a third worker was taken to the hospital as a precaution. also this morning some frightening moments in millionsboro sussex county, delaware this picture coming from kevin turner and it shows a school bus in flames. this caught fire on kerry's camp road. take a look at the aftermath. this is from delaware state police. we're told bus driver and two children were able to escape safely. authorities believe this fire was cause by a mechanical issue. weather-wise a sunny warm start to the week but here tomorrow, it could be a different story. >> meteorologist kathy orr is

we'll see some breaking news just into cbs-3 "eyewitness news". the you're looking here at a fire burning out of cop troll at a super market in north jersey. this is in south amboy in middlesex county. we are told this fire has now gone to four alarms. no word on any injuries or what caused this fire but clearly it is now out of cop troll, four alarms, we will continue to update you as they become available. in other news a pair of college students are charged in the alleged gang rape of the woman on the crowded beach. both of the suspects attend troy university in alabama. the the incident was recorded on camera in panama city florida in broad daylight during spring break. woman's memory of the incident is blurry and that she may have been drug. they are also looking for a third suspect. a fairy scene to show new florida when a small plane crashes while trying to land in an airport in fort lauderdale. plane burst into flames yesterday after crashing in the wood just outside of the

cleve bryan is on 19th street, cleve, are you with us, right now, with the very latest cleve. >> reporter: ukee, i don't know if i'm on one of the those bridges you just banged but thinks 19th street bridge that will be replaced. the starting tonight at midnight lasting until 5:00 a.m. eastbound lanes of the vine street expressway will be closed down, they will repave the the lanes as first part of the project. it is first phase in a very long project. >> the need for speed we have will really slow us down. >> reporter: time to downshift is almost here, early tuesday morning, prep work begins to replace seven bridges over the vine street expressway. penndot says those bridgees from 18th to 22nd street are structurally deficient. >> bridges have reached the end of their service life. they are more than 50 years old. there air lot of problems that we see cracks, broken concrete, detear racial of all kind. >> reporter: nearly 65 million-dollar project will replace the two span bridge system with single spans and eliminate center support gears

sentencing hearing for zero of the 11 educators began today and they have been behind bars since april 1st when they were convicted of racketeering for their rolls in the scheme continue on flight student test scores. some of the educators refused to admit their guilt. >> unaudible. >> the educators could spend as many as 20 years in prison under sentencing guidelines. a weapons sting operation in oklahoma takes a terrible turn. >> unaudible. >> this video shows police setting it up, suspect sees officers pull up and start running. they eventually catch up and hall him to the ground. that is when a seven three-year old reserve deputy yelled a warning that he was about to use his taser. but he accidentally grabbed his gun and shot the man.

>> unaudible. >> he shot me you can hear the former officer robert bates apologizing in the video. the the suspect was taken to the hospital and then later died. bates is now facing second degree manslaughter charges. today a judge sentenced convicted killer jody arias to life in prison without the possibility of parole. he was quick in the 2008 killing of her on again/off again boyfriend alexander. alexander's family members and spoke to the judge. arias gave a statement which criticized police and prosecutors. but she also showed remorse for the murder. >> the gun shot did not come last, it came first, and that was when travis lunged at me just as i testified to and just as the the state's own detective, before he and juan got together and decided to change their story for trial.
