alexandria hoff for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". >> thank you. former nfl star is now a quick killer. mass chew set jury found aaron hernandez guilty of first degree murder today. hernandez maintained his innocence throughout the lengthy trial. cbs news correspondent omar villafranca has the latest. >> guilty of murder in the the first degree. >> reporter: spectators gasped and aaron hernandez sat down when they a announced him guilty in the murder of the odin lloyd. they sobbed in the courtroom as did mother of the victim. judge sentenced hernandez to mandatory life in prison without parole. >> you are committed to the ncic cedar junction for a term of your natural life. >> reporter: lloyd's body was found shot to death in june of 2013 in an industrial area less than a mile from the football player's home. lloyd's girlfriend and hernandez fiance a are sisters. during closing arguments hernandez lawyer admitted his client was there when lloyd was killed but blame shooting

control just after 10:30. one person was treated on the scene for smoke inhalation but no other injuries were reported. they are now investigating the cause. meantime chopper three over a brush and tire fire in bucks county, earlier today this is the area at forest grove road and stockton road in buckingham. fire fighters were able to get those flames under control quickly and we're told no one was injured. well, brush fires are a big concern in much of the area because we are under a red flag warning. meteorologist kathy orr is live outside on a sunny cbs-3 sky deck with her first check of the forecast, hi kathy. >> it that is time of the year we're talking about dry conditions a across the region and some wind, the the first ingredient for brush fires. take a look at this area we're talking about. red flag warning does extend through parts of the new jersey but mainly through philadelphia a and northern and western counties. we're talking about enhanced fire risk and that will continue right through the evening. these are factors that are

involve for this particular red flag warning. wind gusting to 25 miles an hour through the afternoon humidity a at 15 to 20 percent. that is very low. we're talking about warm temperatures and dry fuel, a lot of dry branches and brush that could ignite very quickly. we have dry conditions and a few cloud moving through. you can see it on storm scan three. temperatures are very mild. right now in philadelphia 70. lots of 60's across the the delaware valley. we are going to stay warm right through this evening. we will be cooling down in the seven day we had some showers to talk about but a week even warm up to remember. more on that coming up a little bit later in the broadcast, i'll see you then. >> thank you very much. philadelphia police department is asking for your help as they look for a missing 14 year-old girl tonight. franco torres was last seen on grandback street on monday. police say that the little girl did make to it school that morning at the school of the future at, 40th and girard

but she may be in the company of the man that she met in social media. police have one person in custody after a double stabbing at an apartment complex in lansdale. police were called to the oak wood garden apartments on east main street this morning. they found one women, 22-year old and 26 year-old both of them suffering from stab wound. police say their cousins, they are now recovering. the suspect in the stabbing was later taken in custody at land dale train station where he had hidden in the bathroom. authorities are investigating a crane accident in monroe township gloucester county. chopper three over mall georgia road around 12:00 and that crane veered off the road and then partially tipped over. the road was shut down so crews could upright the vehicle. the cause of the accident is under investigation. philadelphia a lawmakers are fighting back against an efforts in harrisburg to overturn cities recently passed paid sick leave law. that effort the comes at the

a texas mother makes history by giving birth to five little girls. the babies delivered via c-section last week are first all female quintuplets born in the u.s. babies were received by iui and their parents danielle and adam rugby say pregnancy began were four embryos until one of them decided to split. >> i have five kids. i tell everybody i would have five kid if i could but in today's world they are so expensive. >> we seem like we were at the doctor's office doing tests and it is extremely stressful process. >> the babies will join their big sister blake, meaning they now have, six daughters. >> wow. >> their names olivia marie, i have a lane hazel grace, parker kate and riley page. >> so six little girls, that is a lot of women in one house. >> every baby is a blessing but they are more blessings then most. >> good luck to them.

justin? >> good evening, guess contact that is right, we just wait all winter long for days like today, temperatures up around 70 degrees, nice breeze dry, with a mobile weather lab tracking these excellent conditions but there is one problem to deal with, when we come out of the winter look at the the ground, there are dead leaves trees, brush, you can see that right here in fairmount park. that is a problem. when we get certain weather conditions like today, dry breezy, we have risk foreign hansed fire danger, red flag warnings are issued and that can be a problem. keep that in mind outside enjoying these nice conditions. we have had a fire today take it to chopper three and again, this is video over a brush fire this morning in buckingham, bucks county. when conditions are just right like today it can ignite a fire and that can quickly spread this fire burn brush rubbish and tires. fire fighters were able to get it under control quickly and in one injured but a warning to everyone to be extra careful when we're under a red

flag warning. so what is a red flag warning? we will go to the graphics. it is when certain weather conditions all come together to increase that fire danger. today we have it. they are issued with gusty wind over 25 miles an hour. we have had that today. relative humidity levels very low. air is just so dry and grass is able to dry out quickly. we have dry grass, and brush going on so these fires can easily spread. just watch out even if you are barbecuing a spark can ignite it or watch where you are slipping your butts. it is 68 degrees. it is warm. you want to be outside and start grilling. i saw people on the way here but that dew point temperatures which tells us how much in moisture is in the air. 20 degrees, that is low, typically when we get that humidity in the air these numbers get in the 50's 60's and 70's, just far from that. be careful with these dry conditions and more on that forecast and when we see wet weather again lets turn it back over to kate with the check of the forecast good evening. >> you can see the brush
