much what you will find out there. this computer model didn't pick up on the clouds we are seeing out there right new but it does pick up later this afternoon on some cloud coming in. as we head through evening hours we will see more clouds and by the time we hit overnight we will start to see first bits of rain coming in. i'll finish out that time line and talk about amounts and what we can expect for next seven days beyond that weather-wise nicole. >> carol, thank you. delaware tait the police are now assisting the investigation into a shooting at a delaware state university greek picnic. three people were shot and injured saturday night at university sanctioned cook out on the dover campus. for a brief time after that shooting students were told to stay inside their dorm rooms while police searched for the shooter. nine students are still not aloud on campus at last check. the university president harry williams confirms that the shooting took place at 8:00 p.m. at that annual cook out. he did not identify the victims and says it isn't clear at this point if they are in fact delaware state students. the victim injuries are not

life threatening and the shooter is still at large. philadelphia police investigating an overnight shooting on the 700 block of north preston street around 1:00a in m. police were called to the home where they found a man with the gun and gunshot wound on the first, in the first floor bedroom rather. the the victim was taken to presbyterian hospital and there is no word on his condition. welshing willingboro police are investigating an early morning shooting on the unit mark of mercator lane, several suspects were detain while police sorted through statements. one victim was air lifted to hospital trauma care. there is in word right now on a condition. members of the st. joes prep community will gather later today at a private mass as they mourn the loss of the freshman football player who collapsed and died during practice, this weekend. cbs-3's steve paterson spoke with one of his classmates. >> that will hurt for a while. >> reporter: minutes before he died moments before

everything changed like any given saturday, daven and brian were shooting the breeze. >> i was talking to him this morning before he went to practice. he said wow text me after practice. >> reporter: fifteen year-old daven kid jackson would learn just a a few hours later it would be the the last conversation they would ever share. >> i cried a few times. >> reporter: school officials say 15 year-old st. joseph freshman brian gillyard died during a football conditioning work out. school spokesperson wouldn't comment on the investigation but says the the promising running back simply collapsed. he was rushed to temple university hospital and pronounced dead. >> he was someone everyone wanted to be around. he was funny, cool, polite had good grade. >> reporter: school officials added to that saying in a statement quote the st. joseph prep community is deeply saddened by tragic death of our freshman ryan gillyard and condolences go out to his parents and family. ryan was a great person and zoo one we were proud to have as part of the community. daven a varsity quarterback

friday afternoon. police say a romantic rival was behind the wheel of the vehicle located on the 1600 block of mar vine street yesterday. doctors had to april tait spence's leg. a construction worker is critically injured at a site in the fairmount section in the city this all happened in the 1700 block of folsom street around 10:30 yesterday morning. police say the the 30 year-old man came in contact with the live wire while working on that property. he was rushed to hahnemann hospital in critical condition. well to day marks the 20th anniversary of the deadliest act of home grown terrorism on u.s. soil. on this date back in 1995, tim think mcveigh park a rental truck packed with explosives outside the alfred p murray building in oklahoma city, oklahoma. the the ensuing blast killed 168 people, including 19 children. more than 500 others were injured. today dignitaries and families will gather at the oklahoma city national memorial to

the the plane was heading to portland but was diverted due to weather so a bus took those passengers to denver, united is now offering to compensate the the passengers. i have to say carol, only time you don't want 80-degree weather when you are stuck in the plane with no air conditioning. >> i fly to portland a lot, the not to colorado springs. we will skip that one. lets look at this. i want to show you this as a remine their we did have winter and it wasn't that long ago. still snow on the slopes at jack frost but this will be melting. yesterday the temperatures were very mild and this snow pack will be leaving and then the the grass underneath. it is an interesting look out there this morning. lets head to the shore where it is more typical of what we should be expecting this time of the the year. people outside on the boardwalk enjoying themselves and just having a terrific time. i have another boardwalk for you and a ocean too if you want to look far enough out there ocean looking great. temperature of 50 degrees in rehoboth beach. notice the wind.

tomorrow. we are in the lower open's. that does come with the rain. expect the rain, heavier rain in the morning. maybe a hour or thunder storm in the afternoon as well. this front goes through and then we're left with conditions that are better on tuesday, at least it is brighter and temperatures will be in the middle 60's again maybe in the upper 60's on tuesday. let's time all of this out and see if the computer model has a handle on it. we have a few high thin cloud right now ape we don't have them here. that is why you sort of, take everything that follows with a little bit of a grain of salt but it does want to bring in some cloud by 4:00 this have afternoon and we will be finding some cloud overnight we will see the first bits of rain early in the overnight time period and heavy rain in some spots, occasionally, this is a look at 6:00 o'clock tomorrow morning. this is a look at 8:00 o'clock tomorrow morning. we will continue to find heavy rain scattered around. same deal around the the noon time hour. a lot of it leaves, by 6:00 o'clock but not all of it, we could be following will that, as that front comes through here, we could be finding a shower or thunderstorm, even as we get through later on in the day on

time for ask the vet. we have a wonderful penn vet here this morning. this is is doctor mark vando and he brought his wonderful dog with him gus a 15 year-old terrier. he is just as beautiful as he was when he was a puppy. you do your specialist in small animal internal medicine. we want to talk about feeding your pet because you see a lot of the gi problems, that goes on. >> um-hmm. >> what are people doing right or wrong with their animals when it comes to feeding from what you have seen. >> i think what people are doing right is buying high quality pet food, there are plenty of great products. >> what makes a high quality food. >> i think -- >> a main first ingredient that is a meat. >> a brown rice or something. >> i think you want to look for the first ingredients to be some sort of meat protein source or carbohydrate source that you recognize. >> not a biproduct or a filler. >> exactly.

>> what are they doing wrong. >> well, most of the time it is feeding food that are not pet foods. for some dogs that is okay. some dogs tolerate that but other dogs feeding food from the table can really mess their gi tract up and put them into a bad state. >> would you say that dogs should one time a day, two times a day, what is best for their system. >> i think probably two times a day is ideal. once a day is not enough. some have a schedule to allow them to feed more than two times a day that is okay but for most working families twice a day is what is easiest and that works well for dogs. >> with the dog with the gi problem would smaller meals more frequently, not same size meal every time but cutting it down help. >> sometimes. it just depend on the specific type of gi problem but there are some conditions that we see where we do make that recommendation. >> in a dog that has a gi problem a lot, is that because they are being badly fed wrongly fed or do they have

genetics that would create that. >> there ara lot of factors involved in those conditions but most of the times it is probably a genetic predisposition to the condition. >> in that case what do you do. >> then you can seek veterinary attention and we can get to the bottom of exactly what the problem is and take already treatment to the specific problem. >> how many times do you see a dog get sick before you do something, and should dogs eat grass, be allowed to eat grass, is that a signal they have a stomach ache. >> when dogs ate grass it is because they feel nausea, they are trying to make themselves vomit because they don't digest grass well. it can induce vomiting. >> is that why they do or do they like the taste. >> they never told me to be honest my suspicion is that is why they do it and in the so much that they like the taste unless it is happening all the time. >> so, you let them do it or not. >> would i let them do it the but recognize it is probably a sign they are in the feeling with. that can be a one time thing but fit is happening repeatedly it is something you want to address.

collapsing. well, 300 homes have been evacuated due you to a wild fire in corona, california. it was reported late friday afternoon when it broke out in the flood basin near a southern california dam. the terrain of the dam has made it difficult for fire fighters to gain access to the the fire. if conditions persist fire officials say it is heading trait for a populated area. australia is raising its terror threat level after police charged five teenagers with planning a major attack. authorities say that the 18 and 19 year-olds were plotting an isis inspired attack during the country's veterans day ceremony in melbourne next week. well investigators found knives and sword during raid on their homes. they believe the suspects were going to attack police officers. >> it is a threat that confronts us all. it is a threat that challenges us. in truth it is a threat that we do in the really properly understand. >> isis has previously issued
