new information matt. >> reporter: chris and jessica, as you mentioned two very close calls over the span of 12 hours or so. the the officer who was the shot is recovering this afternoon at his home. >> good, good, real good. >> reporter: that is officer daniel kostick getting out of the hospital just hours after being shot during an attempt add rest thursday night. the bullet went into his shoulder and lodged in his back but he is expect to make a full recovery. it was late yesterday evening when's approach 35 year-old suspect william noblen avenue thought he was using drugs near fifth second and master. the the suspect pulled a gun allegedly saying i don't want to do this and shot the officer. he return fire hitting the suspect hoist also in stable condition. >> the the officer was very lucky. you know, everybody got out unharmed. there was no it sense that got hurt. all of the officers are okay. >> reporter: second close call came friday around 10:30 near 25th and jackson in south philadelphia. an officer opened fire on the suspect that she was chasing after she said he he pulled a

philadelphia authority have formally a rain nia parlor on attempted murder charge these morning. investigators say she abandoned her quadriplegic son in the woods near her home so she could visit her boyfriend in maryland. the passerby found her four days later on the ground with the blanket and bible. he remains in the hospital. former headmaster of an ill let delaware prep school is sentenced to 50 years in prison on child porn grave charges. christopher wheeler was found guilty in december of last year. wheeler was once headmaster of tower hill school in wilmington for nine years. his attorney plans to appeal that sentence calling it quote outrageous. police need your help to identify this man suspect of aggravated assault. witness told police that the man seen here was holding a an unconscious victim on the 900 block of south eighth street last wednesday. the witness confront had that suspect police say he fled without the the victim. suspect is described as a 20

year-old black male hoist 5 feet seven with the medium bill. wife of the new jersey governor chris christie resign from her lucrative job on wall street. governor's office confirmed that first lady marry path christie stepped down from her position at angelo gordon and company. she says it is to spend more time with her family but political observers think it is in anticipation of the possible presidential run by her husband. the atlantic city police department is requiring its uniform officers to wear body cameras. officials say as part of an ongoing effort to bring transparency to the department. body cameras are constantly recording video on a 30 seconds loop and audio begins when they press that button twice. the department is also moving its internal affairs office to a more easily accessible part of the city hall. >> the cannot tell you benefits that the city of atlantic city will experience
