calm as they prepare for today's funeral services. >> my family want to say please, please stop the violence freddie gray would not want this. freddie's father and mother don't want vie len violence is not justice. >> say 12 arrest he is cents made during yesterday's protest, they a tribute much of the violence to small group of agitators. new this morning, child is injured after a fire starts in one home and spreads to two others. it happened on the 2600 block of north 18th street. fire crews had to deal with heavy smoke before finding the source of the blaze. the child's inside one of the homes was taken to st. christopher's for smoke inhalation, at the moment, still no word on that child's condition. philadelphia police are investigating a home invasion in talcony. happened in the 6600 block of hagerman street after 11:00 last night. investigators tell us the robbers got away with a purse and cell phone no details on how much cash may have been in

you have handful every clouds. we zoom it out just one quick time. what you find across north and central portions of pennsylvania there you see the little speckle of green right at the beginning of the loop there. that's a sign of things to come. there is some moisture being spun around on the back edge of retreating area of low pressure so eventually even though we start off generally clear, there are some clouds out here. but generally we see some sunshine to start. eventually those clouds do start to thicken with time. we will also have to dodge a scattered variety of showers this afternoon and early evening for at least the folks in the southeast most communities. but our daytime high just 62 degrees. so once again, it is little cooler than average, that said, with the high of 62, but at least still expecting to crack the 60 degrees mark here today, and at least not talking a drenching deluge, justin just one of those days where you got to mention it, you snow. >> exactly, i here you. good news, monday morning nobody wants to deal with the wet conditions to start off your morning commute. so still dealing with volume. now some accidents, starting to come into the region, as women we take to you delaware count begin northbound 95 here

we go. it starts morning rush hour. accident taking out the left lane between the commodore barry bridge and exit five. that's kurland street. again, northbound, there is going to be issues over the next several minutes, maybe even a hour or so. this will probably back up all the way down to the delaware line so, if you travel through delaware county northbound you know so typical, so once or twice a week we are dealing with the accidents. we take you to the schuylkill again, inbound at the city at montgomery. both directions actually looking okay so, volume slowly picking up, but still speeds looking pretty good all across the city so far. down to around 50 miles per hour near city avenue. on the schuylkill, 47, 95, still in the green good news, new jersey still looking okay, turnpike 55, 295 again the slow spots going to be 95, delaware county, and again southbound you might get the gaper delay. westbound pa turnpike accident now on the shoulder, we are getting by the airport looking good. that's a look at your ride. back to you. >> thank youment philadelphia

police investigating mother accused of locking her four children in the basement. >> officers rescued those children, in a home on east atlantic street in kensington after one of them calls 911. "eyewitness news" reporter jan carabeo joins us now outside the special victims unit with the latest on this story. good morning. >> reporter: erika, ukee good morning, police have yesterday to identify the mother involved here. >> this investigation is ongoing. here at the special victims unit but police do say that this mother locked her four kids inside of their kensington basement, over the weaken for nearly 15 hours as punishment. >> it was inside this basement in kensington where police found four children this weekend locked away without food water or a bathroom. neighbors, who know the mother, police say is responsible, are shocked. >> it is so not like this, lady, i have known her for almost two years now about too years. she is very, very nice, she treats everybody very nice. you know, when she socialize z she is just a kind lady. >> police were called to the

home on the 1900 block of east atlantic street around 1:30 sunday evening. investigators say the kids have been locked in the basement since 11:00 p.m. the night before. one of the children had a cell phone that could only dial 911. and that is how the kids got help. but when police arrived they couldn't get in. so they called the fire department for assistance. >> the firemen put a ladder up against the house. they climbed up the ladder, went through the window, opened the door. >> when crews got to the basement they found 13 year old boy and his three little sisters, ages 12, ten and nine hungry, and shaken berks no visible injuries, all four were taken to the hospital for evaluation. and then to the special victims unit with r police are investigating. back in kensington, friends of all ages are just trying to make sense of what happened. >> i was like devestated because like tim ' really close to her and it was like nothing -- i just started crying. i never met a person that would do that to their kids.

of pediatrics reports that 11% of teenagers smoke e-cigarettes. now, that's up from 8% in 2012. it is also why new york senator charles schumer is coast sponsoring a bill that would ban e-cigarettes marketing campaigns that target children. >> e-cigarette companies are stepping over the line by marketing these products to kids, and getting them hook on smoking. they are hoping the federal government passes the butt and turns blind eye to what is happening. >> a study in the medical journal jama pediatrics found that middle and high school student who smoke e-cigarettes are seven times more likely to smoke traditional cigarette. >> on the hell watch, ten people in four states have fallen frill bacteria linked to products from blue bell creamery including three deaths. the cdc says those sickened fell ill between january 2010 and january 2015.

get in just to get to the site and try to do some good in terms of the storms you have just the threat of lightning with any thunderstorms that erupt. you always will have lightning. if no shelter for these folks that in itself is just a danger. definitely, unfortunate situation, when it comes to what's happening with mother nature out in the nepal areament meanwhile back here at home, we bring it back to the local level. we are talking about at least some sunshine, kick start the day eventually, few showers do build in for us, generally this afternoon and very early evening for the southeast most counties, but any activity on the radar will be very scattered in nature. justin, we send it over to you. >> good morning, that storm still stubborn, brought the cool air last week, now still some shower chances today. but no rain right now still that's not stopping the accident. this is delaware county, 95 northbound between the commodore barry bridge ancora land street do. have accident there. you can see the tow trucks are there. this is taking out two lanes. so only the right lane getting biment damage is done as the back up continues farther south toward the delaware

line. eventually, with the increasing volume. here we go, the boulevard at wissahickon avenue. stopped all lanes blocked due to accident approaching broad street north. again we take you to the map. you can see where the accident s just before broad street, all lanes block between wissahickon and broad. the alternate will be hunting park avenue. that's causing some problems out there. also we do have an accident lower providence, this is box truck on fire. south park avenue, closed, between eagleville and falcon road. alternate is egypt road to get around that accident scene. new jersey river line, specking 30 minute stops this morning due to signal problems. that's a lack at -- look at your ride this morning. >> four children found locked in their basement of their home. now philadelphia police are investigating whether to charge their mother. police say that mother lost can be locked those children ages nine to 13 in the basement as punishment saturday night. investigators say those children had no food, water or access to bathroom.

you, one of the first things is, you know, been all winter, haven't done a sport and just delve into it. but any sport we do, we real dow need to stretch early. before we -- so if you play golf, stretch, use the motion. try to stretch use that type of motion. also, make sure that you warm up. so it might be doing some calisthenics, or exercise in place, get your heart rate up, body little warmer, wear the right type of shoes. for example don't wear tennis shoes when running, and also, you want to make sure that you hydrate properly, right and then you cool down after it, because when you we exercise, our muscles get tight f we don't cool down afterward it will remain tight. >> don't wear tennis shoes use the proper running shoes with support? >> you're right. they are made differently provide different sport. that's really important. >> talk about specific sports, what's the most common running injuries you me? >> knee problems inflammation, but also sometimes we might see some we call them shinsplints, pain

along the tibia, shin bones just from running on hard surfaces running upstairs doing stairs alnwick the wrong type of shoes. our feet make a big difference in exercise, have to make sure they're happen. >> i speaking of which, i have some can achilles issues, doing the fit bit trying to get my 5 miles a day, five days a week. i am trying. but starting to develop a little achilles issue right at the end of it, where it attaches to the heal bone. >> that's pretty common. soap, you might get this pain in the heal, or in the back, you know, that's the biggest tendon in our body. so you are walking more, that's different than what you are used to. if you are walking up high surface that is could bother you, too going uphill. biggest thing is sometimes people either have flat feet or higher chest so might give heal sports in your shoes, that can help, also, stretching exercises for your achilles. you might go against the wall and -- >> i used to do that in track go up against the wall, lean over. >> so important.

>> faulk about golf course, i have my seven iron. >> you do. >> you see a lot of back injuries. >> a lot of times people with golf using their lower back, rotating their back. that's not made to rotate. your upper back rotates but it is real important when you swing, to use your legs and your hips. you rotate your body, and which ever your right or leftie ben your back leg. >> and transfer the weight. >> you have to transfer, you're right. what happens, back injuries so common. also something called golfer's elbow. >> same as tennis he will below. >> tennis elbow on the outside, golfer inside. from using the forearm a lot. so stretch you want to do the type of motion that is you're going through gently, and you don't want to go out there and do 18 holes when you haven't done it for long time. start slow, build up, give your body a chance. >> doctor, i used little what do you call those wraps on the tendons? those are god. >> epi condo lights strap. use them a lot. gives support. biggest thing is get your body ready do. it grad limit weekend warriors
