freddie gray in police custody have taken a violent turn. police have deseened upon crowds today as they have destroyed, property, a and also looted several businesses. we now necessity tonight that several police officers have been seriously hurt. i'm's chris may. i'm jessica dean. all this happening just hours after the funeral of freddie gray protesters have battered and burn several police cars. you can see this cruiser engulfed in flames and heavy dark smoke there. police are saying these protesters have started looting stores. you can see here people rushing out of the back of the cvs pharmacy. a frustrated baltimore police captain spoke about the violence this afternoon. >> this have afternoon a group of outrageous criminals attacked our officers. right now we have seven officers that have serious injuries including broken bones and one officer unconscious. we will go back and do an investigation and we will fine the people responsible and we will put them in jail.

and that is of course not including today's fatal. >> and the whole house shook it is a sight that are worse than the sound. police, say shortly before about 6:00 o'clock, a tanker and semi truck collided in the 700 block of south park avenue, the tanker, carrying, raw sewage met the semi box trailer, containing and then spilling, barrels of cosmetic make up powder, all over the roadway. the driver of the sewage tanker was killed. >> this particular roadway is traveled by tractor trailers. there is a lot of traffic on the this roadway. >> it is not uncommon, to travel here but neighbors wonder why. it seems everyone has a story about an accident. >> i got hit by a car at the brink there. >> i was in an accident here a year and a half ago. >> that tree right there.

before they announce the name of the driver killed. reporting live, i'm steve paterson for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". >> thanks very much. a worker is, stabbed at a main line school and, doused with bleach. tonight that worker is hospitalized a suspect is in custody. our walt hunter joins us live at radnor township police department with more on how this all happen, walt? >> reporter: well, chris police say when a former worker at the jack barrett hebrew academy ivan moore, showed up on campus this morning a a worker at the school who recognized him let him inside, that worker having no idea that minutes later, he would commit the a brutal knife attack on an employee at the school. do you have any comment at all mr. moore on the charges against you. police say suspect, three two-year old ivan moore his hand bandage and bloody from the attack was arrested aboard a septa route 100 trolley, 20

minutes after he slipped in the barrett hebrew academy stabbing and throwing bleach, into the face of a kitchen employee, with whom he had formally worked at the school. the the victim now in serious condition. >> he was conscious and alert he was talking when he left the school campus. >> reporter: school officials who immediately put the facility into lock down say that moore was allowed inside, by a worker, who opened the door for him. violating school security protocols. and, an individual working for, our technology services, provider recognized the individual and allowed him to enter the building through a bus entrance. the individual who breached this protocol was released of duties effective immediately. >> can you tell us why you allegedly, stabbed one of your former workers. >> reporter: moore was not talking after being brought to radnor police headquarters from bryn mawr hospital where he had been treated for his hand injuries. but police say a big reason he

charged when endangering welfare of the four children after police rescued them from a locked basement. twenty-nine year-old cherin a lee ordered the children in the basement but claims she did not know the door was locked. children were rescued yesterday from this home on east atlantic street in kensington. police say children were without access to food, water and bathroom for more than 12 hours. two young teenagers are facing charges tonight in the shooting death of the chinese food delivery man in crescentville. these are suspects, 15 year-old tyquail duffy a and 14 year-old shemir walker. walker is charged with murder. both of those teens will be charged as adults. police say 49 year-old man crashed his car thursday night, after being shot by the suspects. he was making a food delivery at the time. well, more than 4,000 people are now confirmed dead following saturday's earthquake in south asia. the the vast majority of those deaths occurred in nepal where search and rescue efforts continued tonight. four students from allentown's

muhlenburg college are studding a broad in nepal right now but the school says that they are safe and accounted for. yesterday, junior heil posted on facebook he is in a small village in northwest katmandu. in his post heil wrote right now phone lines are clogged and he is unable to make any calls. eight suspects are facing charges tonight in the drug smuggling scheme at a chester county prison. police say former correctional officer douglass keck got drugs to inmate. and he brought his four year-old son along to one of those drug deals. the other suspects in this case include current and former inmates and solve their friend. let's bring you up to date with the latest on pennsylvania attorney general kathleen kane, a grand jury's report made public today found that kane directed release of secret information to embarras a rival and accord together grand jury, tried to cover it

tomorrow morning we are in the 40's. that is a chilly start to the day. watch what happens in the afternoon, temperatures rising in the 60's and some spots maybe even touching 70 degrees. but that warm, windy weather will enhance fire risk for the entire region tomorrow. tomorrow we are talking about northwesterly wind gusting to 25 miles an hour. relative humidity relatively low at 30 percent. we have some dry fuel, some branches and brush so please be aware of that if you are in our suburban area. during the day on tuesday those strong northwesterly wind will be with us. it will be mostly sun which a are mild day. high pressure falls to the south. we are looking at the 07's for wednesday, that is peak of the heat. then we will watch low pressure move off the eastern seaboard. right now it looks like this storm will stay to the south. that is the good news. our american model gfs and european model also, is looking at, a southeast ward, area for this. moving toward the the north east and away from frustrates but
