breaking news in the the hit and run involving a temple university student "eyewitness news" has learned the victim's identity and a major development police recovered the car. >> "eyewitness news" reporter jan at temple hospital where she just spoke to that rick tim's family, jan. >> reporter: more information on the striking vehicle new development this morning in just a minute but difficult just speak to the young woman's father who has been by her bedside all night and tell me she is in very bad shape. he was too shaken up to go on camera this morning but pleading for public's help so police can track down people responsible in this serious hit and run. take a look at rachel hall, a 22-year old criminal justice student here at temple. her father tells me she was riding her bike home from

dinner studying for finals when she was hit. she is the goalie for temple lacrosse team a bright student athlete here and to make matters worse hall's father said he was set to graduate later this week before she was hit and now he fears that won't happen. police recovered striking vehicle in the serious hit and run captured in surveillance pictures. police say silver mitsubishi galante is at impound and investigators are looking for a person of interest. they say in one is in custody just yet. the subsequent happened 7:00 o'clock wednesday evening as hall was crossing die machine street at north park avenue in north philadelphia police say witnesses report there had were three young men in the car and one in the back seat told the driver to leave the scene now hall is seen here in her lacrosse bio picture and was taken to

blocked outbound holland tunnel for about an hour. there have been no report of violence. the mother of the philadelphia man killed by police has filed a wrongful death lawsuit in her son's death. tanya brown dickerson says philadelphia police officers lied about her son brandon tait brown reaching for a gun. he was shot and killed by police during a traffic stop in mayfair in december. the suit names city and two police officers as defendants and seeks machine try damages and police reform. >> i believe with all my heart that my son's rights were violated brutally and severely. i believe he was not given a chance and i want reforms. i want laws changed. that is why i'm standing here. >> police and city officials have no comment on the lawsuit. an investigation by d.a.'s office resulted in no criminal charges against two officers involved in that shooting. chester county man faces

third degree murder charge accused of allowing his elderly father to die from neglect. thinks the subject eduardo brian the third of the west white land township. prosecutors say he let his father a world war two veteran die in deplorable conditions. they alleged that the younger o'brien removed his father from the rehab facility and failed to provide even the most basic of care. o'brien is accused of stealing $30,000 from his fat ther. new jersey police need public's help in locating this woman sylvia cherry. police say she targets elderly victims and will pose as a health care worker or ask to use a bathroom before robbing her victims. several warrants every been issued for her arrest. if you have any information on whereabouts you are urged to contact west deptford police. school prank in berkley township could have turn deadly. student is charged with assault after police say he spiked his teacher's coffee with eye drops making her sick. it happened tuesday at the

lets talk about what that will be especially for folks down toward the shore or if you live down there you will feel the worst of what this storm has up it sleeve in terms of those indirect impacts. you can see moisture build ago cross western pennsylvania and that is just one piece of the larger puzzle. there is two pieces, two areas of low pressure that come together. while they are not most well defined areas of low pressure these two pieces do come together. what you see over north carolina and midwest and that will form this storm off to the southwest. the the ushers in a northeast component to the wind and we are going to see cooler air more cloud gusty wind at the shore and isolated showers. that is really it. while it will be a dreary friday, that storm gets out of here quickly and will not deliver a huge problem to our area. weekend turns out quickly. saturday we will flirt with 70. sunday is basically a carbon copy of yesterday not
