hit and run that injured a temple university student we are learning more about the student athlete set to graduate this week. >> now instead she's at temple university hospital fighting for her life. now jan carabao spoke with the victim's family, jan. >> reporter: ukee and erika, good morning. i expect to this young woman's father just a short time ago and too shaken up to go on camera with us but he has been by his daughter's bed site all night long, overnight ape says she's still in very bad condition and bad shape and he's hoping anyone with any information will come forward so police can track down the people responsible. this is rachel hall, a 22-year old criminal justice student in temple university. her father tells me she was riding her bike from dinner to study for finals when she was hit. she's goalie for temple lacrosse team a bright student athlete here. she's been named to the dean's list every in semester to make matters worse hall's father was set to graduate later this

there's over two hundred thousand students in philadelphia. jim kenney and tony williams are fighting over public schools versus charters. i think they're both wrong...it's making sure they all get a good education. teachers should have their contracts respected. they also should be held accountable. and it's wrong philadelphia gets less school funding than other parts of pennsylvania. i'll work with harrisburg to change that. but if they refuse i'll take them to federal court. as mayor i'll do what's right for them.

a rhode island couple faces thousandsness repairs after a unwanted visitor crashed their home. >> this is the guy that dit a wild turkey, crashed through their window of their bathroom and then spent three hours inside their home. it left droppings every where somehow managed to get faucet on so water was running for hours and that damage the sing floor and garage. animal control caroled that turkey and back in the wild now. i'm surprised they let that thing go.
