starting things off for the month of may on somewhat on a dreary note. tracking the storm system for days finally here, bringing the worse whatever it has got to offer up, i have to same, that's not that much. let's go ahead take you outside to view of "skycam 3", which at this point is actually totally dry. now, we tracking some wet weather off to the south. we'll take you on tour of storm scan3 coming up in the minutes ahead for now all pretty tranquil for most of the delaware valley. but this is frankly the most dreary day of the forecast, we'll have more details on that, nice surge on the thermometer coming up, dose of summer to go along with it all of the details straight ahead. guys back to you. >> a show of solidarity in philadelphia for the people of baltimore. >> about 600 people marched in center city to protest pretty gray's death and police brutality across the country. >> jan carabeo at city hall right now to tell you more about it and bring you to up

date. jan? >> ukee, erika good morning we saw some of the protesters out here, as late as 10:00 last night. as you mentioned police say there were 600 strong, and the protests were largely peaceful. at the end of the night there were just two arrests. take a look at the videoment you can see this huge group chopper three, over dilworth park yesterday as protesters gathered. the protests, called philly is baltimore, was held as a show of solidarity with the protesters in baltimore. of course, following the death of freddie gray. this group eventually split in two, some taking spring garden, others marching through rittenhouse square they then met up near 15th and callowhill where protesters tried to get on to the vine street expressway. that's where the most tension built with police. there were some pushing some shoving, police had to make two arrests still the message throughout the night was loud and clear. >> application in every state needs to learn that they serve black people, just like white people.

>> anti-blackness, in the city and the country and it continues to be pervasive. if it does we need to address it. it won't get any better unless we start talking about it. >> again, we saw protesters as late as 10:00 last night then they dispersed still largely peaceful protest with more than 600 people, police say their mission was to let the first amendment right go on. and of course, the protesters' mission was to get their message out. i think both did very good job at that. reporting live outside city hall, jan carabeo, "eyewitness news". baltimore's police commissioner said the curfew will remain in effect through the weekend. it seems to have kept the streets calm so far a woman with a bullhorn toll people to move back, go home. the streets were mostly cleared shortly after the curfew went into effect at 10:00 last night. >> now several media outlets are asking the baltimore police department to release more information about the death of freddie gray to the public.

no word when or if that information will be released. but, yesterday the baltimore police department delivered its report in the death of gray, to the maryland state prosecutor's office. this is new to us right now the transport van gray was inside of on the day of his arrest made a previously unreported stop before it arrived at the police station. also a prisoner in the van said gray could be heard banking against the walls of the vehicle. >> police will be staying in baltimore little longer. maryland governor hogan requested the troopers insist they stay with peace-keeping efforts. troopers and personnel will now be in maryland until the fifth of may. >> new this mornings, one person being treated for possible smoke inhalation after this fire in southwest philadelphia. that fire broke out before 2:30 this morning near 50th and kingsessing. investigators say the fire started in the back of that house, the cause still being looked into.

david while steen is expected to plead guilty to federal charges in the george washington bridge scandal today. the former aid to governor chris christie is accused of orchestrating the 2013 lane closures for political reasons. bloomberg news also says while steen may be cooperating with prosecutors. governor governor christie long said he did not know about the lane closures. all right, a friday, so we can take a little bit of dear year forecast, kale. >> i taking off the month of may maybe not on the nights he is note. we do have wet weather to track over storm scan3 specifically across delaware at this point. look at the last three hour loop. cumberland county, cape may county getting in on rain earlier on. for now it is primarily our southern most counties that are seeing anything at all. where you are getting hit you are getting hit pretty hard. zoom it out. bulk of the system primarily all off to the south. in fact, we can zoom it out even one more time. see the rotation taking place. soap, we have been talking about this all weekment see the rotation around low

and then southbound the left lane taken out still traffic get buying with no problems. this early in the game, with low volume. here we go, the vine street expressway again this morning the westbound side, from broad to the schuylkill. closing down the two far left lanes here so only the right lane get being by around 18th street. see the cones still up. this is supposed to wrap up 5:00 this morning again, they will do it again tonight starting at 10:00 taking out one lane, midnight down to two lanes close that will wrap up 5:00 a.m. saturday morning again, westbound on the vine from broad to the schuylkill. area speeds are looking good. ninety-five, 55 miles per hour, no problems on the blue route. turnpike, north east extension, in new jersey, we go, running at the speed limit for the jersey turnpike and 295. here would go, route 23, valley forge road remains closed for awhile, until late 2015 due to bridge repair, the major work here. this is route 29 or valley park road. will be the alternate to get around that repair, then plymouth road closed between 476 and bullet letter pike, that's the sinkhole repair that should wrap up all the

fringe of it is over kent and sussex county, further north you go, actually somewhat of a clearing sky right now. so granted we are still going to keep an on shore flow out there. what that will do is enter in or bring in more cloud cover for us, and again maybe isolated shower along the way but we will probably see few breaks along the way too allowing us to get back up to 63. so yes cooler than average but not terrible. with that northeast breeze, you will probably want to have extra layer ready to go. variably cloudy tonight seasonable as well, drop down to 48ment looking forward in the forecast being temperatures just go off to the races at this point even already by tomorrow back up to 70, will be stray shower, especially from philly on west, and then we look to sunday beautiful p seven and sunshine, enjoy that, monday, 8 degrees with sun another stellar day. tuesday, for the most part, not looking bad at all. but we are likely i think to see couple of showers roll in with new front later in the

good morning ceo ' long unveiled mass i have home and business battery system t ooh cents the same technology that are found in tezsla's electric cars homeowners with store energy from solar panels on their roof, and then use it to power their house. now the smallest batteries are about 6 inches thick, four feet high, they could be mounted on walls the basic 10-kilowatt hour power wall home system would sell for about $3,500, but of course, tezsla argues it saves awe lot of money down the road. ukee erika? >> i heard starbucks is getting smaller? waist going on? >> reporter: yes the first starbucks express opened thursday on wall street right across from the new york stock exchange. it is about a quarter of the size of a typical starbucks store, the menus also smaller there are no frappuccino's, or any drinks that would take a long time to make, because this is all about fast service, getting your coffee, getting out the door. starbucks says the express stores are good for cities.

4:53. >> good morning, everyone, under storm system most areas are dry. do you have south of dover to find the rain. looking good as far as the roadways go. still construction zones at cottman, 95, looking north. right lane closed on the southbound side. left lane closed but getting by. volume starting to increase, still looking good. construction on the vine westbound broad to 76, two left lanes taken out, supposed to wrap up at 5:00. extended little bit longer the past couple of days. again, that closes down two right lanes or left lanes until 5:00 this morning they'll do it again tonight starting at 10:00 o'clock closing down one lane, midnight they close down the second lane. watch out this weekend, septa, going to be detours on sunday for the broad street run between eight a.m. and noontime. and both saturday and sunday expect delays. many at norristown trains, out bound trains must board on the inbound platforms, both saturday and sunday. that's a look at your ride this morning we will che forecast.

>> it is a good one, especially for the broad street run. perfect riding weather coming up sunday morning but for now, yes you said it, we have wet weather to dodge out there specific to delaware. that's really where you are going to find the bulk of any precipitation out there right now, we take you on out take to you storm scan3 where at the moment, yes, you know, you got to go southment that's pretty much where the wet weather is confined, northern most fringe of this storm system. but we check in on some of the area rain amount, yes getting kind of doused here, pockets of steadier rain coming in as much as, you know, a tent plus inch per hour, granted won't stay south of georgetown foreign tire hour, but when you get stuck under the pocket it definitely is going to slow you down if you're traveling. meanwhile, looking ahead to the weekends, today very quickly talking low 60s generally with clouds, and isolated shower and cool breeze. but already we rebound tomorrow to 70 degrees, late day shower from philly on west, that's just heads up for up overall nice day and sunday, this is good stuff
