hiccup will be a red flag warning, which we will discuss, but for now all is calm. not just in terms of the wind, but really, in terms of our weather pattern as well, we overlook the ben franklin bridge here on "skycam 3", nice clear sky for you high pressure still in full force here today but as we go throughout the day we'll eventually see the winds pick up. that's where the fire threat comes n again, all of the details you need to know in the next few back to you. >> see you shortly. just awful story to recount. mother throws baby over a bridge then jumps into the river below. >> this happened yesterday in allentown along the hamilton street bridge above the lehigh river. baby and his mother were rescued. "eyewitness news" reporter matt rivers has the details. >> police say the child fell 52 feet into just 4 feet of water. section of the river police say is filled with rocks. the mother had walked about halfway across the bridge, when it happened. took him out of the stroller, dropped him off the side of the bridge. witnesses say that she then climbed over the guardrail

and jumps in herself. >> witnesses immediately called 911, five police cars responded to the scene within minutes. they saw the 19 year old mother climbing out of the river on her own and then collapsing meanwhile the baby was no where to be found so officers began to search. >> it took us about four minutes of trying to locate where this baby might be. he was eventually found about 700 yards down river. >> officer jumped into the river to save the child and perform cpr. the baby was revived, and transported to the hospital. >> that was our matt rivers reporting, allentown police tell us so far they have not filed charges. >> this remains a very active investigation. new this morning, a fatal shoot something under investigation in north philadelphia. police tell us a man was shot near the intersection of fountain and east atlantic streets, taken to the hospital where he died. no details on a suspect at this time. coming up on 4:33, back to

kate man feeling like summer today? >> really is. not just today looks like this will be the theme for us essentially all week long, so what's going on here? stormstorm scan right now under high pressure, nice and clear quite comfortable too not terribly breezy just yet. that's going to change with time. and because of that, we start to see the fire risk enhance as a result of that. so let's go ahead take you next to the map here. it now is a red flag warning. that's going to be taking effect here for us 1:00 p.m. this afternoon, all of new jersey included except for the immediate coastline notice, delaware also not included here, so all of eastern pa most of the state of new jersey. what's this really mean just have to be awfully careful with any open flame. cigarettes butts go in the right re second calls if you are grilling watch it, don't lever tub attended today. winds awfully tranquil. basically just calm, down at the shore at this point. southwest breeze only 3 miles per hour at philadelphia international airport, currently at 58 degrees, so,

it is a nice comfortable start to the day. but that winds is going to pick up. not talking about a significant wind. ten to 15 miles per hour, some higher gusts maybe to up 25, that's really it. but it is enough with the low relative humidity, and the heating of the day you just got to be careful. day goes on, here we go, heating things up significantly, 84 degrees our expected hi, real dose of early summer for us here. so basically about a month and a half ahead of schedule with these temperatures. i'll take t justin, over to you. >> a lot of people are yes extended summertime weather pattern. certainly here we go, bad accident here, 95 south approaching street road here. again, this is taking out two lanes, so one lane getting by. >> this car is crunched up pretty good. >> this accident occurred earlier this morning at around 4:00 a.m. and that will show you where it is right now. ninety-five just before street road. two left lanes blocked this will back things up. hopefully get things cleared but pretty severe accident there. may take little while to clean

up thanto new jersey looking good a lot of moonlight showing outside with full moon still up right now heading northbound, headlight looking pretty good as we head toward the city. construction zone in wilmington, 202 northbound at 95 the right lane block that's expected to stay blocked, until 7:00 this morning. area speeds, again for the most part looking good, running at the speed limit on the vine street expressway into new jersey, 295 the turnpike, no problems, blue route looking good at 55 miles per hour, that's look at your ride, we send it back to erika. >> developing right now, gunfire at controversial art show near dallas leaves two suspects dead and security officer wounded. police say the two men opened fire outside a contest for cartoon de fiction of the profit muhammad. garland police shot and killed the two gunmen, but the bomb squad was on the scene making sure their vehicle wasn't rigged for explosives. the american freedom defense initiative sponsored the contest. that group won a court battle to run anti-islamic ads on

septa buses here in philadelphia. >> we prepare for something like this simply because there were additional officers that were hired for this event by the school district. we had talked with them in preparing for this event in case something like this happens. >> now, it is not yet clear if that shooting was related to the contest. main stream islamic tradition consideration any drawings of muhammad blame fuss us. security officer injured in the incident was treated and released from the hospital. for the first time in nearly a week a curfew is over in baltimore as tension ease, baltimore's mayor says much of the unrest seems to have subsided now that six officers have been charged in the death of freddie gray. gray died while in police custody last month. baltimore police made nearly 500 arrests since protests broke out after his death. back in philadelphia, the search is on for vandals who spray painted anti-police graffiti. the message, cop lives don't

matter, was found on a garage door over the weekends, at bank street and elbow lane in old city. >> it is a disgrace. we will hopefully hunt you down, we will find you prosecute you. there is no room for anywhere in the city for anything like that. whether it is black lives every life matter. >> if you have any information about the graffiti you are urge today contact the police. the parent of slain pennsylvania state trooper brian dixon say they forgive their son's accused killer. brian and darr let dixon made the revelation sunday during a church appearance in the knock know mountains. eric frein is charged with killing corporate dixon and injuring trooper alex douglas back in s dixon said she forgives frein because of help to replace the hurt and pain. a seven year old girl is recovering this morning after shrapnel from a bullet lodges in her skull. and a drive by shooting in west philadelphia. police say the young girl was driving with her family when a dark sedan drove to up their

car and someone opened fire on them. it happened along the 5400 block of haverford avenue saturday night. doctors later found the shrapnel in the girls head at last check she was list in the critical condition at children's hospital. police continue to look for that gunman. police also are investigating a state senator for driving under the influence after a motorcycle crash in allentown over the weekend. senator patrick brown was riding his motorcycle on westbound i78 when he lost control on an allentown off ramp saturday afternoon. senate republican leaders say the senator is in stable condition at the hospital. brown, who serves the 16th district, in lehigh county, his license suspended after drunken driving charges in 1995, and 1999. no word right now on whether brown will be charged with anything. >> philadelphia police have no located two stolen cargo trucks solved in a federal investigation. both recovered early saturday

it happened yesterday afternoon, along the hamilton street bridge above the lehigh river. jan carabeo joins us live in allentown. >> ukee, erika, couple of fast acting allentown police officers were able to save this one year old child's life after police say his mother through him off a bridge they found him some 700 feet downstream, able to track him down, revive him using cpr. that little boy in serious condition this morning, but expected to survive. take a look at this video. this all happened on the hamilton street bridge over the lehigh river yesterday afternoon. police say witnesses saw a 19 year old mother pushing her son in a stroller, when she stopped in the middle of the bridge, and tossed the one year old over. the child dropped more than 50 feet into 4 feet of water filled with rocks. police say the mothe
